We've wanted to try this place for a while, but the long lines have deterred us during the weekends. We decided to try it for the first time on a weekday and it was quite a success! We didn't feel rushed and took our time to get familiar with the self-serve system.Orders are placed with the host when entering the restaurant. A buzzer is given to the party, and it's open seating. When the buzzer goes off, the food is picked up at the self-service bar (the food isn't always ready all at once, so you may need to keep the buzzer until you receive everything). As for the food... it was absolutely delicious! We can't speak for "authenticty," but we can tell when something is of quality. We got the spicy cold noodles and BBQ galbi combo, along with the steamed pork dumplings. The noodles were cold and chewy (don't forget the scissors!), and the sauce was really well balanced (sweet, tangy, nutty, and spiciness builds). The slice of pork had a clean taste as well. The BBQ galbi was marinated well and had a nice char. Despite the steamed dumplings being pork, they were not fatty and also had a clean taste. It was flavorful, and the dipping sauce was perfect for it.The ox bone and short ribs soups looked delicious and seemed to also be very popular. Will have to try next time!
