No alcohol served, but juice, smoothies and teas are available.Our server Malikka was AWESOME and balanced all the tables on a Friday night like a champ! The smoothie was just the right sweetness and a large size.The grilled fish was outstanding. My friend and I were totally silent as we ripped our plates apart with no mercy.The lentil soup is more like dahl but tasty. "Great service and delicious food! I happened upon Rina during some midday shopping at Avalon and remembered how good their fries were at the Ponce City location so I decided to dine in. I had the lamb burger with harissa fries and it came with a nice, savory dipping sauce. Delicious! I will definitely revisit for happy hour for some frozen cocktails, which is weekdays from 3-6pm. The ambience is casual and festive with a walk-up bar if you decide to grab a drink or snack to go."

"I don't think I have ever succeeded in finding a hidden gem restaurant till this moment! I've lived in the area for over a decade, but only recently discovered Noosh. Firstly, the ambiance is excellent. It comes across as a very upscale environment with reasonable prices. Our sever was Vee, and he was the highlight of our experience. The food began with an appetizer which was delish and fresh, and everyone there was incredibly kind to my mother and I. I ordered the lamb Kabob and she had the chicken, and we honestly could not get enough. The food came out quickly and had really decent portion sizes. All of the service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The meat was cooked perfectly and was a great blend of spices and freshness. If you have not tried this place, you are missing out!"

Apparently, there is a club, separate from the dining room in the back of the building. I sat at the bar. I ordered a drink + dessert. My Mojoto was a little sweeter than I have had from other bars, but I drank it down & ordered a Crown + cranberry. It's really hard to mess that up. The Lemoncello cake is the best dessert on the menu.Will I go back? Maybe if they come down on that parking price."

"Our group of four enjoyed Zafron Restaurant. This is a good, more casual and slightly more affordable alternative to popular Rumi's Kitchen, which is just a few blocks south on Roswell Road. Zafron serves Persian food. We heard good things about it, so we decided to check it out and left pleased.Zafron is located in a freestanding building across the street from Sandy Springs City Hall. It was previously known as Flavor Restaurant and years before that, Flavor Cafe Bakery. Flavor completed its rebrand as Zafron in March 2015. The restaurant has its own free dedicated parking lot. There are a couple other small businesses on-site, but the lot is mainly for Zafron customers.We visited for lunch on a Monday. The restaurant was busy, but not slammed. I got the feeling that a lot of locals like this place. I booked our group's reservations using OpenTable, which I like because of the dining points I can accumulate to redeem for restaurant discounts and Amazon gift cards. Resy and other booking platforms don't offer rewards for dining out.Inside, the dining room had nice, but not lavish, decor from floor to ceiling. We sat at one of several curved booths that ran down the center of the space. There were multiple seating areas including a fully-enclosed patio in the front and a semi-private large group table, next to some wine racks, in the back. This place appears equipped to handle big parties. There was also a bar, pastry display, and a small outdoor patio.The lunch menu, which is available weekdays only, had a good selection of dishes to choose from. They included several of the dinner and weekend staples like Lamb Kabob ($25 lunch, $32 dinner) and Zafron (Barg) Chicken ($14 lunch, $26 dinner). Exclusive to the lunch menu are the wraps ($12 each), where you can order a small variety of Zafron's meats in a wrap with veggies.That said, I think you can order off the dinner menu during a weekday lunch if you want. That's what I did because I wanted to try both the Tenderloin (Barg) Kabob ($20 lunch) and the Koobideh Kabob ($15 lunch). Our server told me I could get both if I ordered "Soltan's Feast," which is only available on the dinner menu. I actually got a lunch price for Soltan's Feast, $25 vs $35. I presume Zafron's portions are smaller at weekday lunch.Here's what we got:Starters* Mirza Ghasemi ($8) - smoky eggplant, tomato, onion, garlic, extra virgin olive oil* Muhammara (Hummus) ($6) - red bell pepper, garlic, cumin, walnut, extra virgin olive oilEntrees* Khoreshe Badenjoon ($12) - eggplant and tomato beef stew, subbed a veggie kabob for basmati rice (+$5)Feast* Chenjeh ($20) - prime sirloin kabob served with braised green beans in a tomato sauce mixed with basmati rice* Fire Roasted Salmon ($15) - marinated fresh salmon served on a bed of "zafron," fava beans, and dill rice* Soltan's Feast ($25) - combination of one Koobideh kabob (ground brisket) and one Tenderloin (Barg) charbroiled filet mignon kabob with smoked tomato and "zafron" basmati riceEverything that I tried was good. Our meal came with complimentary pita bread, fresh raw vegetables, feta cheese, and walnuts. The veggies included slices of radish, cucumber, and tomato, plus herbs like basil, mint, and tarragon. These were nice to munch on with our meal. All of the dishes were presented beautifully.Both of the starters were tasty. The Mirza Ghasemi was served in a cast-iron pan. The garlic was fried crisp. Both the Mirza Ghasemi and the Muhammara had nice texture and flavor. The Muhammara wasn't the best I've had, but it was still good.The Chenjeh and Soltan's Feast were yummy. The sirloin (Chenjeh) was a little too salty, but otherwise fine. My favorite was the Koobideh (ground brisket) Kabob. The meat was tender, moist, and flavorful. Really savory. In contrast, the Tenderloin (Barg) Kabob was somewhat dry. It tasted much better with a sauce. The Chenjeh came with a white sauce. I think it was a yogurt sauce, like tzatziki, but my wife doesn't think so (she's better at identifying foods/ingredients than me). Our table was also given a side of tangy sumac powder/spice.The various rice dishes that accompanied the meat and fish were appetizing and satisfying. I liked them a lot. The veggie kabob that we had subbed in for one of the rice sides was big, hearty, and impressive. It came stacked tall with charbroiled eggplant, squash, zucchini, mushroom, red bell pepper, and white onion. Unlike the meat kabobs, the veggie kabob was actually served on a thick metal skewer. The meat kabobs were served off-skewer (normal).Service was on point. Jannifer was our server and she was great. She was very nice and attentive. The other staff we interacted with (hostess, other server) were polite. Despite a busy weekday lunch service, our entire order came out in a reasonable amount of time.I would return.The business name "Zafron" is a play on saffron, the spice widely used in Persian cuisine."

They have kabobs (obviously) and other Mediterranean type dishes (hummus,grape leaves,shawarma,etc).They do hookah, of course, and you can do inside and outside smoking if you need to. They share a tent with a Mexican spot so you can toggle between either of possible.Parking is not free, but it's only a couple of dollars to park. If you are picking up carry out, you may still use to pay for parking ... Just be aware... But it depends on what time of day I came in after club hours and it hit the spot. Got the chicken and fries. Both of them were good. Maybe it's because everybody was hungry after leaving the night of adventure, but the food definitely hit. The chicken was well seasoned, the fries were hot and crisp. If you're on a late night tip and need something, this is your spot to go to!"

The seats are comfortable, and the bar is well-stocked. I came with a large group, each paying separately. It doesn't seem to be their norm to manage this, but they were very accommodating despite that.Great place for date night, and even has its own tiny parking space, which is a gem for historic Roswell."

"This is a great place to order lunch delivery from. I have more than once and the food is always reasonably priced for the huge portions you get. Recently my mom and I ordered the feta cheese pie pocket, beef shawarma plate, and the chicken kabab plate. She really enjoyed her chicken plate. I tried a piece - the chicken was cooked perfectly and moist. As for the beef shawarma plate - the fat will melt in your mouth, and I do not eat fat any other way! The feta cheese pocket was simple but great. If you like cheese, then this is the perfect side item for you. All of the plates here are hefty, so come hungry, share, or expect leftovers. The hummus and pita bread, as well as the other sides that come with the lunch plate are all delicious and seasoned just right. I would highly recommend trying this place if you haven't yet and look forward to hopefully trying more menu items down the road."

The owners family was there eating so we actually got to talk to them as well, and they gave some great suggestions as well as general conversation. It was flavorful and plenty of a good portion size. The hummus was really good too! I would have dipped my finger in it if it wasn't frowned upon lol. The dessert, it was unorthodox... but at the end of the day it was delicious af! It was a cream based dessert, ice cream and cookies! "Yalda is very reminiscent of another Middle Eastern restaurant at Avalon in Alpharetta...sure you know the one. They have two locations, Sandy Springs and Westside. We visited the Sandy Springs location. We came here to celebrate our anniversary, as I have been wanting to check this place out for a while now. I am glad we came. My boyfriend really liked it! Their menu is extensive from "spreads" like fried eggplant, hummus, grilled eggplant, Persian yogurt to all different kinds of kabobs or stews. Meat choices include beef, lamb, chicken, fish, salmon. You can also get wraps if you prefer, or veggie plates if you don't eat meat. There are a variety of salads too like beet, mediterranean, heirloom tomato. Lots to choose from, and you can choose fries, rice. They have lots of different sauces too, like harissa which is my fav, garlic, tzatziki, but just know they are an additional cost.I got the salmon with cherry rice, and both were very good. I did feel the salmon was a bit overcooked, but otherwise tasty. My boyfriend really loved his meal of chicken and steak. The bread was soft and delish. It came with the usual tarragon levaes, olives, radish slices, cucumber, and cheese. I got a fancy cocktail and my boyfriend had a mocktail that was refreshing. The atmosphere definitely screams "date night". I will say parking was hard for us, and we ended up valeting. Prices were fair."

"An impressive restaurant with counter service and a decently-broad Levantine/Middle Eastern menu plus a bakery of Middle Eastern sweets and a well-stocked store with Middle Eastern groceries. The interior architecture certainly conveys a grand and appropriate atmosphere with a central fountain and ornate ceiling but the service seemed a bit rushed, not rude, but not exactly welcoming, either. Perhaps that's best to get lunch orders out in a prompt manner, though. My kebab platter was overall good: the kebabs were tender, the babaganoush and hummus tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The real stars of this business however are their bakery and grocery, both of which are very impressive in the sheer scope of their offerings. The bakery turns out nearly every variety of baklava and other sweets you could dream of plus some savory pastries as well. The grocery has a great selection of the Green Land brand of spices, which are sought-after and in my own opinion as someone who cooks a lot of Levantine food the best brand for most such spices. They also have a good selection of teas and the syrups necessary for many Middle Eastern drinks--jallab, almond syrup, mint syrup, and so forth which I was excited to see as my local Middle Eastern grocer in Florida is often lacking in this regard. I don't think anyone would be disappointed here: the food prices seem a bit high but then the quality is high, too. If you need Levantine groceries though this is a great place to shop and get lunch before doing it."

"This place. Oh man. What an oasis of incredible fresh flavors in what is otherwise just another mall food court inside of the Peachtree center in downtown Atlanta. This place sustained me while I was staying in one of the nearby hotels and searching for a fresh lunch.The 5 star Yelp rating (at time of writing) is absolutely warranted. It reminds me a lot of a place that I love where i live. Fresh flavors, unique and appealing spices, a charismatic owner who is both present and actively involved in making his restaurant amazing, and his customers happy. While waiting in line to order, he emerged with a tray full of cups of soup to give out to everyone as an aperitif, and to possibly entice them to order a whole bowl.Fresh food is continuously emerging from the kitchen, and it has to, because the line is steady but moves quickly thanks to their format. This keeps it all fresh, and you from waiting too long. I had mixed shawarma with rice, loads of roasted veggies, hummus, creamed spinach, red cabbage slaw, and pita. It was a plentiful feast, some of which came back to my room with me for a snack later. All of it was delicious, every component. Not to mention, it's a large and modern restaurant with plenty of tables to enjoy some peace, even if busy. This will be a must have anytime I find myself near downtown Atlanta. It's a very classic restaurant. The staff was friendly and helps me make a decision. I opted for the salmon kabobs. I placed my to go order and paid for my order at the bar. I was advised that it would take about 15-20 minutes to prepare. As such. I opted to wait outside on the bench at the entrance. I feel like it took them much longer than 20 minutes, but I can't confirm this because I am not certain of what time I placed the order. However, I must say it was worth the wait. The food was fresh, and there was a ton of it! I honestly ate off it for 3 servings! The salmon kabobs came with rice. Roasted veggies, a rendition of a side salad, and the freshest naan! The salmon was cooked to perfection. It was slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The veggies were to die for. If you are a big rice eater you will love the amount they serve here. I honestly ended up tossing a large portion of it since I don't eat a ton of rice. I look forward to checking this place out again. Next time I will dine in and get the full experience!"

So when Aviva by Kameel opened at the CODA, I had to check it out. Kameel unfortunately was not there but he had a good substitute filling in - not sure what his name was but he was super friendly and nice and treated me like I was a regular. I decided to go basic and ordered the chicken shawarma with a side of grilled veggies and falafel but it was anything but basic. On the outside they have some blue umbrellas with seating if you want to stay outdoors. They're like five or six tables so it's not a lot. But at least it's covered.If you come inside it's basically about 15 or so boots and tables for you to say that. Plenty of space. Again, it's a pretty big area. You wouldn't be able to tell if you are just looking on the outside looking in.I ordered the chicken shawarma and then I got the hummus as well. They make it right in front of you so you know it's fresh. They have a full prep bar, kind of like Chipotle, that they can put the toppings on the food to whatever you prefer. I choose for Lamb and Chicken as the meats. Large portions of meal, tendered meat, very flavorful and tasty food with minimal wait time. Basmati Rice was soft and fluffy just the way rice should be. They give you a ton of rice, get some extra sauce though.This place is just a counter seating. It is really a take out place with few places to sit. They have few chairs outside, you can use that when the inside is full or if you like to enjoy the patio style. Reasonable and affordable prices. Clean place and they also have drive-thru available. Go eat at this place, you won't be disappointed. As this place is in a shopping plaza, their is ample free parking in and around the restaurant. I would really recommend this place to give a try.
