Decided to grab some Michiru for my friends and I while we were in the area after a long afternoon. Finding great Chinese food that I enjoy has been such a struggle for me so I was hyped to see the great reviews posted for Michiru and decided to go for it. Ordering online was incredibly easy, they even have an app that you can choose to use if you're regular! We opted for a few lunch special options: Orange chicken + fried rice + hot & sour soup, Wings + fried rice, wonton soup + fried rice + chicken and chicken fried rice + side salad. For 4 meals and then some, this order was surprisingly affordable. After ordering, our food was ready about 20 min later and we headed to pick it up. Michiru is located in a small, quiet plaza with 2 or 3 other businesses and a few parking spots available for guests. The restaurant was welcoming and even included 3 or 4 tables inside for seating. On our visit, the restaurant was a bit hot and musty, but it felt like they may have been having some cooling issues. Didn't stop me! Lol. I went to the counter and gave my name, and boom. Our food was packaged up, hot and ready to go. I paid and we went on our way. Overall, our food was delicious and plentiful. My fried rice didn't have any veggies any it which was disappointing, but I wonder if they mixed mine up with my friend's order of no veggies. My orange chicken was delicious and so was the ginger dressing for my salad, I just wish I had asked for extra. And based on the empty plates of my friends, I'll say that they felt the same about their food! Definitely my new favorite when I'm in the area.

I was in the mood for Chinese food and decided to visit one of the go-to spots in the Smyrna area. I walked in the restaurant and ordered takeout, and the service was quick--my meal was ready in about 15 minutes. The portions were generous, with rice packed to the brim and a hefty serving of shrimp, which were deveined (always a plus). However, when it came to flavor, the dish fell short. I ordered the spicy basil rice, but it lacked the basil flavor that the name promises. A couple strands of basil floating through at best. It felt more like I was just eating shrimp and rice, without the kick of spice or herbs. It reminded me of the typical plain fried rice you get at a small, hole-in-the-wall spot. Given the ambiance and price at this restaurant, I expected a bit more.Since spicy basil rice is more of a Thai dish, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and stick to more traditional Chinese options next time.

Tried this place for lunch today. Got the triple basil rice dish with hot and sour soup and it came with a spring roll. The soup was very good, The spring roll tasted like a frozen grocery store roll and I didn't like the dish I ordered. It had beef, chicken and shrimp with onions and bell peppers. There were more onions than meat in the dish and the beef was so mushy and soft. I might go back and try something else before I give up on this place.

I ordered the tofu w. Massamah curry this evening. It was the worst curry I have ever tasted. Don't waste your $19.75 on this dish. It was so watered down and tasteless. Also ordered the vegetables egg rolls which arrived cold and bland. Our food was put in an open recycle box with no lid and no bag to protect the food!

I ordered the Mongolian Trio for the first time from Michiru, expecting a nice mix of shrimp, beef, and chicken. Unfortunately, it should have been called "Mongolian Onions" because that's mostly what I got. The dish was overloaded with onions to the point where you could barely see the meat. The amount of shrimp, beef, and chicken was minuscule, especially considering the $20 price tag. Really disappointed to pay that much for what felt like a container of onions. Not what I was expecting at all.

Came here on Mother's Day after my shift! My friend treated me to dinner and I am so glad I decided to come here. The menu had so many delicious options to choose from! I ended up ordering the Hibachi Chicken w. Fried rice. You can choose between fried or white rice. The rice is not like the typical fried rice but it is paired perfectly w. Soy sauce or the yummy sauce & whatever meal you choose. The Hibachi meals also come w. Green salad, mixed vegetables and/or clear soup. I picked the clear soup. I placed my order to go but ended up eating a little bit of it because I just couldn't wait to eat! Lol The food was fresh, seasoned well and good portions. The resturant only had a few tables and chairs. Typical for your local Chinese spot. But here it was clean and open. I loved the decorations and the painting on the walls. So far this is my favorite Chinese spot In the area :)

Michiru always hits the spot. It's not Asian people in the back making the food but the latinos/Hispanic preparing and cooking the food makes this place one of my favorite places in Cobb County - City if Smyrna my go to go Chinese & Hibachi restaurants. I've probably gotten the lunch special this year over +45 times. My go to which is not a lunch special is the Singapore Noodles and the Chicken Rise noodles and on a cold day or long weekend the Large Wonton Soup.Tons of other items I haven't tried. I hate to write a good review because it's become busy now. Rating 5 - Service 5 - Food5 - to go packaging and miscellaneous Total 15 points Grade A

I gave a 4 because the "fried rice" is literally white rice with soy sauce. I thought there would be peas and carrots or at least green onion in the rice. I would have went with white rice if that were the case.I was happy with the Mongolian beef though! I liked that the lunch portion came with a spring roll and soup or a soda. I did the hot and sour soup and like that you have 3 soups to choose from.Customer service was great over the phone and in person. The restaurant was clean and organized. My mom got the kong pao vegetable which I liked more than she did. I'll be back to try more when in town!

I ordered from this restaurant Tuesday. The food was horrible! It actually smelled even worse. Thats should've been my cue not to eat it. I was literally sick to my stomach after 2 bites. I guess I should've known better when I pulled up tot the restaurant and the male cashier was wearing booty shorts and standing outside smoking a cigarette. He didn't bother to wash his hands. He just walked back in and asked if he could help me.
