Rob C. "I came here with my cousin on my second night in town. This place was really cool. We went on a Tuesday and it seemed like a normal night, I definitely can see the place getting packed. They had a DJ playing music and this was on a random Tuesday and people were catching a vibe dancing and having a good time so I can just imagine how it is on the weekend. Speak up, because it does get loud in there. You can enjoy some hookah with your food or drinks, they have an outdoor patio as well as the inside and bar area. The drinks were pretty good, they weren't watered down for a late night bar so that was a huge plus. But we grabbed some quick appetizers and ordered the rib tibs, beef and lamb burrito and the slider burgers which were all really delicious. So far so good. I'm curious to try more on the menu the next time I visit. Their menu has a lot on there with the Turkish influenced cuisine. For parking they don't validate, they don't have control of the lot so you're going to have to pay to park. We paid $20 to park. There's no way around this and definitely make sure you pay to park because if you don't your car will likely be booted by the time you walk out. The restaurant told me that and they weren't kidding, the parking lot guy was regularly checking the lot."

Eddy H. "We had picked up takeout through the drive-through one time, but this was our first time eating inside the restaurant. They do not offer table service, but you can order at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table . There are also multiple people checking on you throughout the meal. The food was clearly the highlight of our experience. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and very flavorful. I enjoyed a bowl of the Greek lemon soup, and I would definitely go back for more. We tried the beef Souvlaki Sticks, and the steak was super tender and very flavorful. We also tried a few of the appetizers, including the Greek wings, and the Saganaki. When they bring it to your table, they use brandy to literally light it on fire, so it's smoking hot when it's served. This is definitely a favorite of mine.Being that we live not too far from this restaurant, we would definitely consider returning and highly recommend trying Yeero Village in Roswell. Cheers"

The music was cool and nice customer service. Valet is $5. He ordered the Wagyu and I ordered the seafood linguine and we both had the Mid-Point. The burger melts in your mouth and the linguine was fresh. The Mid-Point is a bitter cocktail. Nice date night atmosphere but it seems more of a pre party spot around 9. Highly recommend."

For a main course, the mixed grill platter is a standout, as well as the tender and juicy chicken kabob or kofta kabob served alongside fluffy rice and a fresh salad. The falafel wrap is also a delicious vegetarian option, packed with flavor and filling. The restaurant is known for its generous portions, so you'll definitely leave feeling satisfied. And if you still have room for dessert, the baklava is a sweet and flaky treat that's the perfect way to end your meal. Derek R. "Let's put it like this: I'm part Greek AND Jewish and have lived in a lot of major cities where getting very good, very legit and fairly-priced gyros/shawarma is part of the landscape. And let's put it like this: I went to Sabaraba's with my Israeli pal that I often go out to eat gyros/shawarma.So, now that I've established my unquestionable qualifications, lol, I can confidently say Sabaraba's is indeed very good, VERY legit and fairly priced. I can also say that I've NEVER been somewhere that does BOTH gyros and shawarma...usually, it depends on the restaurateur's ethnicity, because although these are similar dishes, there are also some crucial differences. However, Sabaraba's definitely knows what those differences are, so, regardless of how you lean on the gyros/shawarma scale, you'll be quite satisfied."

Annalisa P. "This was my favorite restaurant while visiting Atlanta. My friend lives nearby and suggested it, so we walked (braved the cold and wind) 10 minutes to the restaurant. We didn't have reservations, and there was no wait. Apparently, the restaurant was closed for remodeling and recently opened. You can dine downstairs near the bar, but most of the seating was upstairs. The stairway tiles in between were such a beautiful print reminiscent of Greek or Turkish design. There's intimate 2- person seating and larger seating for groups of 4 or more. The teal velvet seating added to the charm. The place was dimly lit and cozy. Mary Lyle was our waitress. She was amazing and attentive. My friend and I ordered cocktails and various appetizers to try. Excellent price points from $7-9 with large portions, not to mention, delicious.I had the Gardenia cocktail with gin and cucumber that was refreshing. My friend ordered the Basilisk. I tried it, and it's green apple forward and also good. The appetizers we chose were hummus, babaganoush, shakshuka, and spanakopita. Unfortunately, they ran out of the babaganoush past 8 pm. Mary Lyle brought us a complimentary appetizer - lentil kofte. It was served on a bed of romaine. Hummus: Large portion. I loved the fried chickpeas on top. It's served with a full basket of pita. Spanakopita: 4 pieces and comes with a side salad with vinaigrette dressing. The spinach and feta was baked to perfection.Shakshuka: I absolutely loved this variation of shakshuka because it was eggplant based. It's typically tomato and egg. There was no egg, but it did have green peppers in a homemade tomato sauce. The eggplant and peppers were tender and paired nicely with the pita bread. Since the eggplant was cooked right, I'm sure the babaganoush was just as great.I had eaten a large, Southern dish for lunch, so I was getting full. My friend ordered the Turkish moussaka that came with eggplant and ground beef and was served with rice. I had some of it, and it is a filling entree. Again, it was a large portion. At the end of our meal, Mary Lyle surprised us with a free dessert - rice pudding. We killed it! There's a hint of cinnamon. It was creamy. I could taste the whipping cream or milk they used. When I go back to Atlanta, I'm coming here for my Mediterranean fix. I just hope there's babaganoush next time! *fingers crossed*"

The food is tasty just not the best.I'm just used to this place called Green Olive located OTP that has the Mediterranean food game on lock...That seems to be a trend with Int'l food in Atlanta. The best is OTP where all the diversity is. Lol!....I ordered Beef Soltani, and an order of Labneh. Like I mentioned, the food was tasty. Fresh and good flavor. No mistake here, I was just hoping to see some Nihari on the menu and a few other items as well as maybe more burst of flavors and seasonings?!?!Aside from the food, the service is 100. The building is an old mansion that was eventually turned into a bed and breakfast and now houses Divan. A lot of thought was put into the aesthetic. I went around Halloween and the restaurant was completely decked out for the holiday and now they have Valentine's Day inspired decor. They have several bars and full dining service. The menu is the same as far as I call recall and is composed of Mediterranean and Persian dishes. They have an excellent cocktail menu as well. My go-to's are the crab risotto croquettes and the garlic shrimp entree. The crab croquettes are delicious, but the portion is small. The garlic shrimp is served with dill flavored basmati rice and has a scrumptious butter sauce. The 6 spice potatoes are very good too. I sampled my friend's duck leg confit and was blown away. I instantly regretted not ordering it! The flavors were amazing and the duck was very tender. The customer service is good overall. My only cons are the $10 valet and the "security " out front asking if people if they're carrying any concealed weapons."

We decided to drop in for brunch around 1pm and it was packed both inside and out and the doors opened at 12p. There is a 2 hour seating limit per party, you can sit outside or purchase bottle service inside. However, the more bottles you buy, the more your time limit extends. After 7 bottles and Lord knows how many hours of "brunchin", this day was a blur. All I will say is that the music/DJ here was different. The food was fresh, seasoned to perfection also. The lobster Mac n cheese w the fried shrimp is a must try. It's packed w so much flavor. The hot wings here are mouth watering too. There's so much I want to say about the food and service but for some reason it's not all coming back to me at the moment (still drunk 2days later). There's hookah here also if that's your thing. Daniel B. "Our group of four enjoyed Zafron Restaurant. This is a good, more casual and slightly more affordable alternative to popular Rumi's Kitchen, which is just a few blocks south on Roswell Road. Zafron serves Persian food. We heard good things about it, so we decided to check it out and left pleased.Zafron is located in a freestanding building across the street from Sandy Springs City Hall. It was previously known as Flavor Restaurant and years before that, Flavor Cafe Bakery. Flavor completed its rebrand as Zafron in March 2015. The restaurant has its own free dedicated parking lot. There are a couple other small businesses on-site, but the lot is mainly for Zafron customers. We visited for lunch on a Monday. The restaurant was busy, but not slammed. I got the feeling that a lot of locals like this place. I booked our group's reservations using OpenTable, which I like because of the dining points I can accumulate to redeem for restaurant discounts and Amazon gift cards. Resy and other booking platforms don't offer rewards for dining out.Inside, the dining room had nice, but not lavish, decor from floor to ceiling. We sat at one of several curved booths that ran down the center of the space. There were multiple seating areas including a fully-enclosed patio in the front and a semi-private large group table, next to some wine racks, in the back. This place appears equipped to handle big parties. There was also a bar, pastry display, and a small outdoor patio. The lunch menu, which is available weekdays only, had a good selection of dishes to choose from. They included several of the dinner and weekend staples like Lamb Kabob ($25 lunch, $32 dinner) and Zafron (Barg) Chicken ($14 lunch, $26 dinner). Exclusive to the lunch menu are the wraps ($12 each), where you can order a small variety of Zafron's meats in a wrap with veggies. That said, I think you can order off the dinner menu during a weekday lunch if you want. That's what I did because I wanted to try both the Tenderloin (Barg) Kabob ($20 lunch) and the Koobideh Kabob ($15 lunch). Our server told me I could get both if I ordered "Soltan's Feast," which is only available on the dinner menu. I actually got a lunch price for Soltan's Feast, $25 vs $35. I presume Zafron's portions are smaller at weekday lunch. Here's what we got:Starters* Mirza Ghasemi ($8) - smoky eggplant, tomato, onion, garlic, extra virgin olive oil* Muhammara (Hummus) ($6) - red bell pepper, garlic, cumin, walnut, extra virgin olive oilEntrees* Khoreshe Badenjoon ($12) - eggplant and tomato beef stew, subbed a veggie kabob for basmati rice (+$5)Feast* Chenjeh ($20) - prime sirloin kabob served with braised green beans in a tomato sauce mixed with basmati rice* Fire Roasted Salmon ($15) - marinated fresh salmon served on a bed of "zafron," fava beans, and dill rice* Soltan's Feast ($25) - combination of one Koobideh kabob (ground brisket) and one Tenderloin (Barg) charbroiled filet mignon kabob with smoked tomato and "zafron" basmati riceEverything that I tried was good. Our meal came with complimentary pita bread, fresh raw vegetables, feta cheese, and walnuts. The veggies included slices of radish, cucumber, and tomato, plus herbs like basil, mint, and tarragon. These were nice to munch on with our meal. All of the dishes were presented beautifully. Both of the starters were tasty. The Mirza Ghasemi was served in a cast-iron pan. The garlic was fried crisp. Both the Mirza Ghasemi and the Muhammara had nice texture and flavor. The Muhammara wasn't the best I've had, but it was still good. The Chenjeh and Soltan's Feast were yummy. The sirloin (Chenjeh) was a little too salty, but otherwise fine. My favorite was the Koobideh (ground brisket) Kabob. The meat was tender, moist, and flavorful. Really savory. In contrast, the Tenderloin (Barg) Kabob was somewhat dry. It tasted much better with a sauce. The Chenjeh came with a white sauce. I think it was a yogurt sauce, like tzatziki, but my wife doesn't think so (she's better at identifying foods/ingredients than me). Our table was also given a side of tangy sumac powder/spice.The various rice dishes that accompanied the meat and fish were appetizing and satisfying. I liked them a lot. The veggie kabob that we had subbed in for one of the rice sides was big, hearty, and impressive. It came stacked tall with charbroiled eggplant, squash, zucchini, mushroom, red bell pepper, and white onion. Unlike the meat kabobs, the veggie kabob was actually served on a thick metal skewer. The meat kabobs were served off-skewer (normal).Service was on point. Jannifer was our server and she was great. She was very nice and attentive. The other staff we interacted with (hostess, other server) were polite. Despite a busy weekday lunch service, our entire order came out in a reasonable amount of time.I would return. The business name "Zafron" is a play on saffron, the spice widely used in Persian cuisine."

It has a lot of area and places to go if you want to walk around after dinner. But the spot itself is very nice and well kept but it's still looks kind of rural and rustic in a Mediterranean sense. It's a really good aesthetic. Not over the top and not too much. That been doing outdoor seating so depend on the weather you could do both. And there's plenty of patio so there's more than two or three tables outside. But the indoor is very nice and aesthetically pleasing so if you wanted to stay in the air conditioner this would be a good spot as well. I got seated right away, and I got water right away, even though it took a minute for the server to get to me. But the service here was really nice, I don't have any issues overall. I got suggestions on what I could try. Everything was good though. Now I'm very biased because where I'm originally from they have a heavy population of people who are of Mediterranean descent so I am very spoiled lol. But I try to go into it with an open mind! Sigara (beef) rolls were pretty good. There is a lot of dill flavor in them so if you don't like dill then they may not be for you but I enjoyed them. They were brought to me still hot and the sauce added a little extra cool taste. Just think of them as egg rolls. My only gripe with them was they came out a little bit burnt so they may have said enough fire a little too long but they still at the same flavor though.Chicken gyro was good. It comes with a salad but I got a substitute of fries instead. The gyro was very big, even to be a little messy (which I dont mind). It was stuffed to the brim! Parking is free for the first two hours. The Halal Guys is just a short walk through the parking garage, up a set of steps, through some doors to go outside, a right turn, and through the entrance doors and you're in the store! Actually, once you walk up the steps and go through the first set of doors, you can look to the right and see into The Halal Guys through the clear glass.R and I walked through the front doors and were immediately greeted by both of the employees behind the counter. We were the only customers in the store at the time. I ordered a beef gyro sandwich, which is served with lettuce, tomato and a pita wrap. The employee making my sandwich asked me if I wanted hummus on the sandwich. I was ready to say yes, assuming that I was being offered something that was included with the sandwich. I asked, "Does hummus come with the sandwich?" The employee stated that it didn't, and it would cost extra. Ok, I understand the upselling of items, but if you're going to ask the customer if he wants something on it, state whether or not there's an uncharge for it. After that employee tried that with me, I wold him that I only wanted its that come with the sandwich, and nothing extra. I got some spicy red sauce that added some heat (yes - no charge).Overall, the ingredients in my sandwich were fresh and delicious. I would definitely get the beef gyro in the future. We both ended up eating inside. Not only were there lots of tables, the entire dining area was clean! The soft drink dispensers were self serve, and the area was also clean and not sticky. I liked that there were brightly colored (red and yellow) and eye catching scenes painted on the walls that illustrated that The Halal Guys started business as a food cart in NYC at W 53 St and 6th Ave.The amount of food in the sandwich left me satisfied. I went with the French toast and banana bread both were delicious especially the French toast. Two thick cut pieces of Challah bread topped with strawberry compote, candied almonds and topped with a creamy mascarpone whipped cream after the first bite I was hooked. The brunch menu isn't extensive, but it's plenty of options to choose from. I love the seating in the conservatory room the space was decorated beautifully throughout. They also have a nice patio if you prefer to sit outdoors. Parking is limited in front of the restaurant. I think valet is available for dinner, but it's ample parking in the garage which can be validated for two hrs. I would definitely recommend if you're looking to brunch in the Sandy Springs area."
