Macon Street Tacos

This place has total surf shop vibes with a vibrant look and beach side feel. The only thing missing is sand on the floor.Put it all together with some friendly service and I'm already loving this place.They've got a really extensive list of tacos that I know I'll be returning to try even before I'm done ordering. Plus they've got ice cream, a kid's menu and a nice selection of drinks ranging from Jarritos to margaritas. Man, I cannot wait to try these tacos!Oh mama do these tacos look good. Very nice. Here we go. Portabella Taco: I have a theory... if a place can make vegetables taste good, you're in for one hell of a meal. This is one of the tastiest tacos I've ever had. BOOM!!! Five stars already. Let's go!Cajun Fish Taco: hot, well-seasoned fish, limey, citrus-y flavours popping in and out with each bite. Wow wow wow!Pork al Pastor Taco: awww, man... this one just didn't hit for me. The flavours didn't come together and compliment each other for me. Everything was too separate. I'm sure a nice salsa verde would've tied the pork and pineapple together while making the pork less dry. Oh well. 2 outta 3 ain't bad!Hands down my fave place I've visited for the year so far.I shall return.

The service is great: fast and efficient and friendly. The tacos are fresh and could use a bit more flavor but there is hot sauce on table.

Service was fast. Restaurant is small but comfortable and clean. The vibe is beachy and colorful. Food was served quickly and hot. Workers were friendly. This is a location I will return to.

Stopped by to grab some tacos, the young lady at the counter was somewhat helpful but I had trouble understanding the menu. I ordered tacos and corn but found out they were out of corn so I just got the tacos. There must be a problem with people sitting in the restaurant without ordering because a manager came out and asked me if I was waiting for an order (she got my name and confirmed my order). Anyway, the restaurant is clean and tidy and the food did come quickly. The taco was okay but not earth shattering. l won't be back.

Prices are very affordable and the amount of food we got was more than enough!

Best tacos we've had since moving from Texas last year! We tried the shrimp taco, Shrimp Po'boy and the fried Brussels sprout tacos. I'm not sure who came up with those flavors but they were delicious! The beef nachos had excellent flavor! Everything disappeared before I could get a picture to post.

This is our first time trying this place and we felt it was costly for the amount of food we received. What shocked me was the 50 cents charge for a small cup of water. Food was tasty but the price did not match up with the quality and quantity of food given. Service was average nothing to rave about. Ambiance was different but again not outstanding. I am sorry to give such a review but honestly, we could get a better meal for that price elsewhere in the vicinity. Our first and last visit.

Food was good, but the live music really made the ambiance great. I would recommend the guacamole!

I enjoy eating here! The service is always friendly! Ambiance is nice. I recently tried the Brussels sprouts and black bean taco! It's all good!
