Frida's is a great place for dinner and or lunch! It is a busy and well visited eatery. Chips and salsa are served as soon as you are seated. it can be a little noisy as this place is busy. However, it is not enough to interrupt your own party conversations. Service is fast and efficient, the food is what you would expect at a Mexican restaurant... It is very good. I have three favorite Mexican restaurants, one in Loganville, one in Snellville and this one in Lawrenceville. All are fantastic! Frida's is my go to in Lawrenceville!Recommendation: Yes, a must try!

Food and drinks were really good. What I really loved was that the shrimp taco salad I ordered I tasted a shrimp in every bite.

I apologize for the late review, but here it goes. This place is like a cafeteria but with servers. The place is enormous, with plenty of seating. The staff was friendly and got us seated and our orders quickly. They were so quick we had to ask them to come back as it was our first time there and we had not had a chance to review the menu. The staff is trained to get you to your seat, take your order, get whatever you need, and get you out the door. Now, that's not a bad thing. It just feels more like a cantina with food. We enjoyed ourselves, so I don't want my experience to seem negative because it's not. Now, on to the food. We got chips and salsa, but one of those sauces was fantastic. Just the right amount of flavor and heat. You all know some Mexican restaurants give you some salsa that has no flavor and is hot for no reason .We went with the street tacos. Beef, chicken and shrimp. They were tasty and hit the spot. There are so many selections to choose from that we may consider coming back. You all should check them out, and when you do, tell'em Drew sent ya! Y'all be easy now! Drew

I'd say really a 2.5 right in the middle. Some people had told us it was great. We did takeout and don't live far but it was just ok. Maybe it didn't travel well but wasn't super impressed very confusing where to pick up a to go order. You end up standing near the bar and also it's the hall out of the kitchen. Seemed like main thing everyone was ordering was the queso dip. Maybe will eat in sometime to give it another chance.

Pretty good food and decent service. The chips were really bland and soggy, but their tamales and burrito were good. Their kids pizza was a standard 6" deep dish pizza, nothing to write home about. And the service was good. The staff was a little awkward, but they were all nice.

The service was great. The fresh guacamole was delicious. My main dish came shortly after on a sizzling skillet. The chicken was well seasoned and not overcooked.

Frida's is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area because of the wide range of creative Mexican-Caribbean menu options. Some of the favorite things to order are the fresh guacamole, tostones, plantains, maya soup, and tacos del guero. Not to mention, their contrails are suburb. I am very picky and don't like concentrates. Theirs is always freshly made from real ingredients. We love this restaurant and will continue to visit.

When we walked in, we approached the Hostess, and its okay that she didn't speak English - but we were obviously there to be seated but we needed 2 employees to come translate to her that we would like to be seated and order dinner. Very puzzling. The service from our waitress, Natali, was great. The Poblano Pepper Dinner and Shrimp Enchiladas were great - but the greatness ended there. We purchased a $15 CLIPP Coupon for $30 off Specifically FOR the Grayson Highway address (NOT Cumming). WHEN WE PRESENTED IT, the staff looked at us like we were crazy. It ended up with the Manager, Felipe refusing to take it telling us to take it to Cumming (a 70 mile round trip.) He was extremely NOT HELPFUL. I consider this the same as lying to your customer when you refuse to take a valid coupon. The food was great and Natali, our server was great but the Manager really blew it. Will miss having the good food again, but not the ridiculous drama.

The food here was excellent. I got a quesabirria (not birria tacos, there was a distinction here) and the wife got one of the nacho dishes. I'd probably want to try the birria tacos next time as the quesabirria was super cheesey to me (makes sense, it's a quesabirria after all). The consomme was great, it was full of birria - lots of other places just give you the broth. Wife didn't finish her nachos and ended up taking it home, as we got the typical free chips and salsa. The chips were nothing to write home about and the salsa was a bit watered down. The star getting docked was because the service was a little slow and our waitress went missing for a while and we had to ask another waiter and what seemed like the owner or manager for to-go boxes.Waiting for another opportunity to give this place another go.
