"I stopped in to Mary Mac's on the recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint! It is honestly just a simple restaurant with delicious home cooked southern food. As I was by myself, I hopped in a seat at the bar and was provided with a drink immediately. I was then able to quickly order a chicken n dumplings meal with bread, sweet potatoes, and broccoli casserole. Even with a sweet tea added in, my final bill was barely $20.00! Let's just say that I tipped generously on the bill, as I also received top notch service. This meal was exactly what I needed as I had a long drive home ahead of me. And I was incredibly grateful to not have to overspend on my last dinner in Atlanta."
"No Mas is a favorite spot of mine. Some friends and I came here after a wine making class in the area. We were seated immediately and our server began helping us immediately too. I love the decor here. The service is always amazing and I absolutely love parking for free. There are so many photo opportunities in this restaurant and their gift shop is amazing. We all enjoyed our food and appreciated the great service. We're already planning another visit as a group."

"This new space was huge! There was an outdoor lawn space with corn hole. The inside had a foosball table and shuffleboard. The little giftshop was adorable with the usual t-shirts and even ice cream for sale. There was definitely a lot of space to roam. T.V.'s were stationed throughout so you can catch the latest games. The bar was at the very center and in a massive square form. I liked how the menu was super colorful with the type of beer and alcohol content labeled. There were also seltzer drinks too if you wanted to go lighter."
"Had a nice dinner last night. First time there. We were seated near the open kitchen. Was fun to see the different dishes coming out. Got the tuna tartar and it was very yummy. Three of the pieces of tuna were really tough and I'm not sure why. I've never had tough to eat tuna in a tartar before. I got the steak. Was good but needed salt. The sauce it came with was very good. I asked our server for some sea salt. I should have taken a photo of the tiny amount she brought me in a small dish. I laughed thinking it was a joke! Also my potatoes were definitely from a box. They really had no flavor and I was disappointed in the texture and taste coming from this type of establishment. My guy liked his scallop entree and the burrata and strawberry salad was really tasty!Valet parking outside only $4. Very nice!"
"While I lived in the DMV, City Winery (Ivy City) was my go to for vino & live music. Back in Atlanta many year later - the 4th Ward has surprised me.The industrial backdrop venue provides a dim lighted & warm ambience with exposed brick, vintage lighting & wine barrels throughout. The lounge space boasts a stage, various table/seating options, an elevated bar encompassing a very lively & social atmosphere. The friendly service team moved at a good pace & in a synchronous fashion. Even amongst the tight spaces between tables. There's little room once you're seated & you have to turn your body/neck to see the performances. I understand maximizing ticket sales, yet stage the tables for the patrons to be comfortable while enjoying their meal & live performances. Suggestive budget around $120 per person for live music, food (limited for Vegetarians/Vegans) with a nuances of wines, beers/ciders, crafted cocktails & mocktails.Easy navigation on the website to view events & purchase tickets. Ticket prices varies with fees are around $14. Ponce City has abundant fee parking (app & kiosk payments), mostly in the parking decks. Valet parking is available right in front of the venue. Follow the signs (Security provided directions when we visited) to go upstairs for check-in/will call & you'll be guided to the venue."

Must visit!! I called ahead to verify that they were open as many businesses were closed the last day of Hurricane Helene. The lady who answered the phone replied they "were waiting for me to get down there as everyone was bored and wanting to talk to me." She told me to put my shoes on and drive safe. Now what better invitation could I get than that. This is probably my fourth or fifth time coming to Mary Mac's. No visit to Atlanta is complete without an outing here for some delicious southern food. I was seated in the Ponce Room to the left of the main entrance. The walls of every room are lined with newspaper articles featuring the restaurant as well as pictures of famous people who have eaten at Mary Mac's. I had the pleasure of being helped by my waitress Kam. She was extremely sweet and kind. Very personable. Couldn't have asked for a better or nicer person. She asked for my name which is unusual in California but is probably normal in the south. I loved that she used my name throughout the evening. I started the with the cocktail - Mary Mac's Peach Mojito. It is strong! The Bacardi was a good complement to the peach nectar which got stuck in the straw so you will probably need a larger one. For my second cocktail, I went with the Georgia Peach Martini. Holy moly it is fire. It is sweet and a little too sugary but has lots of booze. Beware for those who are faint of heart. For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with broccoli soufflé and macaroni and cheese. The portion of the chicken is huge. The chicken is moist and the coating is crispy. It is served with a great white pepper gravy. As a lover of broccoli, I had to get the broccoli soufflé and it is fantastic. I think it has a bread crumb topping. The macaroni and cheese was fine but I was underwhelmed. For dessert, I went with the peach cobbler is bordering on hot so be careful. If you are not careful, you will burn your mouth. Blow on it. It was essentially apple pie but with peaches. It has large slices of peaches with cut outs of pie crust. It was okay. I expected more. Fantastic music playing in the back - R&B and Soul - Earth, Wind & Fire, One Way, Rick James, Luther Vandross, Donna Summer. I wanted to get up and start a dance party in the middle of the restaurant. If you are in Atlanta, you have to come here. Be ready for a great meal and time!

We dined at this restaurant while meeting some out-of-town friends who were staying in downtown Atlanta. Pleasantly surprised, they have two hour complementary parking in the lot behind the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant looks colorful and artistic with a slight day of the dead theme. They have a gift shop and café right next to the restaurant. Our server was friendly, and she took our beverage order quickly. She took a little too long to return to our table to take our food order. Nevertheless, we were amazed at how quickly the food was served after our order had been taken. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. Being that we're all originally from California, we have a pretty good sense of what good Mexican food tastes like. They have a brunch menu on the weekends, and two of us ordered egg dishes. I enjoyed the breakfast quesadilla, and added chorizo, which apparently is made in house. It's in the downtown area, not too far from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, so if you're looking for some good Mexican food as well as free parking, then I would definitely recommend you try this restaurant. Cheers

Came for mom's 80th birthday. A very unassuming area, parking across the street is free, but is a hop up a curb onto grass, a side gravel alley with a valet (do not bring big trucks or cars- you will not fit), and I think free parking around the corner somewhere. Valet is $4, Venmo, etc. with maybe a small tip in cash.Walk into an old building- not anything fancy or a grand hostess stand. The restaurant itself is quaint! Nice bar. Staff may come across snarky, but they are being hospitable, professional & want you to enjoy your time.We had a table on the patio. Lots of plants, fun string lights & there was a wedding rehearsal dinner out there too.Couples enjoying their company, etc. very romantic!!A heater on the patio came in handy towards the end.Appetizers were fresh & delicious. Good portions to share.Entree's are $22+++.I got shrimp & grits, a few ordered the Filet Med Rare & it actually came out too rare for them. They didn't want to say anything to anyone b/c we were with a group.Another friend (man) ordered the trout & said DELICIOUS, but he left hungry. The burgers at the table ordered Med Rare & came Rare... too rich, but delicious if that makes sense.Others enjoyed their Fried Chicken- said hard to eat- maybe off the bone would be nicer?Mom received a complimentary dessert & enjoyed her Pot de Crème!A lovely evening, PRICY, mom felt celebrated!Definitely a special occasion destination.Dress: business casual and up!

Ventured to Marietta Square for brunch at Mac's Chophouse. Love the space. The decor is inviting and the building has so much character! Stuart was our waiter and he was great! We were seated upstairs near the windows. Great spot. Everyone enjoyed their food. We shared the oysters to start. Featured here are: Crab Benedict - a good serving of jumbo lump crab meat....deliciousSteak & Eggs served with fingerling potato and chimichurri Creme brûlée - decadent Street parking and paid lots are available. If you're in the Marietta area, make a rsvp soon!

Spend a couple of days in Atlanta with my fiancée. We came here with a friend who lives nearby. We actually came here twice. They have a good brunch menu. I ordered the french toast. I wish the serving was a bit bigger, but it was good. It wasn't gooey; it had a nice crispy texture. Our server was friendly. He was busy managing multiple tables but was quick to make his rounds. It was nice getting away from the outside humidity. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices were cheaper than I expected, especially being in a popular part of downtown.

I absolutely loved the vibes and drinks at drawbar! The menu on Yelp wasn't updated, which was a shame because we really wanted drinks that we saw on the Yelp page. The bartender tried to make something similar, and my friend and I both really enjoyed it! There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating that has comfy couches and regular tables. The bar has a beautiful view of the Atlanta skyline. The location is kind of hidden - the entrance is in the mezzanine of the Marriott hotel. Overall rating: 9/10

"We came here for post Valentine's day Valentine's dinner because who likes a crowd? Anyway, they were still cute with Valentine's entrees (a pasta special, chateaubriand for 2, and maybe 1-2 others) My husband had the doctor is in & the Macs old fashioned (makers mark) & he really liked both. The second came in a smoked glass and had a cool presentation. He was definitely tipsy by the end of the meal so I'm pretty sure they were both strong drinks not too bad... Around $13-15 ish each I had a mint lemonade spritzer ($4) and it was great! Would def order that again but their cocktails also looked delicious. They also have mocktails (mactails) but they didn't pique my interest This trip we got the chateaubriand, lobster Mac and banana cream pie We accepted the bread and I'm not sure if it was complimentary but if was delicious with honey and butter & a super soft yeast roll each!We ordered the chateaubriand medium but its a thick cut so definitely came out more medium rare/rare and they did cook it more for us because I'm pregnant so I only ended up eating the most cooked pieces they gave and my husband ate the more med rare side. It was delicious though and the bone marrow compound butter ($9) so worth it! The sauce it came with too was also amazing. I was dipping everything in it like the fried lobster, the potatoes, parsnips, everything The lobster Mac was SO good with a great cheese pull and tons of fried & baked lobster. Would 100% order this again The complimentary aligot potatoes were ok. Nothing exciting but they're complimentary so no cheese pull lol We were torn on dessert because they all sounded good so I looked up pics on yelp & the banana cream pie sold us. First of all, It was huge. Could split between 3-4 people post meal. It's like a whole small pie and it was so creamy, so flavorful yet not too sweet. Bruleed bananas on top, a banana mousse that could've been ice cream, flaky crust, meringue... A must try. Honestly I'm excited just thinking about eating the leftovers of this one. We didn't finish any of our food because it was a ton for 2 people Whole bill came out to $230 pre tip They do have a wheelchair lift but she said you had to walk a stair or two after it so not really handicap accessible. They're attached to the raw bar portion though so might be able to sit there if handicapped because the chophouse downstairs only has booths. Parking is not a breeze in the square if you don't want to pay but there are a ton of garages/lots in the area & street parking is always full."
"While visiting a friend in ATL, we stopped in twice. (Once for brunch, another for drinks)The food was ok. Service was super friendly. They have specials and events during the week. I hear their trivia is super fun. Plenty of seating."
"Great Coworking space! Connected to a hotel and live work platform area Drawbar has Plenty of comfy seating areas indoor and outdoor options. They also have a good menu with options for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. I went for an afternoon of telework and decided to try the salmon po boy with fries. The sandwich was absolutely delicious, salmon seasoned wellAnd the sauce on the bread was a great addition. My fries were a bit soggy but when i let my server know she was very nice and quickly corrected the issue by getting me some fresh hot fries. I would have loved to sit outside and take in the beautiful views of the city however it was a bit breezy on the day of my visit so i opted for indoor seating at one of the table ls that had plenty of space and outlets."
"Parking - It's Atlanta. Get in where you fit in.The Scene - Checkout the pics, it's nothing fancy. The walls are graffiti'd, the tables are wobbly but the bathroom is clean! The Eats - I've eaten tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and wings. All good food. My only complaint is the damned canned sodas. When with a group and chatting, that can is gone in 5 minutes. The Service - I've been on packed nights and the service has always been swift. I ordered food on the walk from the HIlton, and it was ready when I arrived. They made good drinks and ate pretty friendly.Parting Thoughts - I'm getting hungry just thinking about this spot. Grab some friends and enjoy a good time."
