We ordered to go on a Saturday evening, steak burritos and chicken enchiladas. They were ready when we arrived to pick up. It was warm and tasted very good. So we opted to go back the next day for lunch, it was packed but they were able to a sit us within a reasonable amount of time. This is not the place you go to for a quiet romantic meal, the ambiance is more of a family or sports team celebration. It's loud, packed and did I say loud. But that's what you can expect when the place is Packed to capacity. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, and to our surprise the waitress brought an order out within in less than 2 mins. We asked if they were fresh and she said yes. They were warm and tasted good...so we didn't question it. We waited another 20 mins to received our entrees, which consisted of two steak burritos and a chicken mole dishes. The food is was good, plenty and had good flavors. I couldn't finish my burrito, I took the remained for lunch the following day. Unfortunately, as I was eating my leftover steak burrito, I had to pull a foot long hair strand out of my mouth. That was the end of Amigos for our family which is too bad because everything else was very good.

We've only just discovered this gem. It may look like your average restaurant, but the food and service is great. We even stumbled in to live music there. Nice touch.

Tried this place on a Friday night. Didn't check reviews since we came in a large group (over 15 people), and they were able to accommodate us quickly, which was a big plus. We had a pleasant experience here, the margaritas were flowing and everyone loved them, so my guess is that they were good. I ordered the Steak Burrito and it was really really good. Will need to get back here and order more food to have a better idea. But overall, good experience. Things to note, this location is right next to the Publix. Parking is huge, so no issues there.

Friendly, local spot with great portions and fair prices. Things you should know:I. PARKING Amigos Mex Grill is within the Publix Plaza and shares a public parking lot ~ there's plenty of free available spaces. II. SERVICE Accommodating and dedicated III. Great food. Service is prompt from greeting to seating to table service throughout the meal. Employees all work as a great team. Someone is always checking on you with drink, chips and salsa refills. Everyone is friendly and accommodating.Very casual with couples, families and groups of all sizes. Lively and loud in a good way.We were in a hurry, but still wanting good food fast, not fast food. Amigos Mex Grill was great and now I wish would have had he opportunity to stay longer.We had the ground beef burrito and chicken enchiladas for entrees and found all the ingredients were fresh. Speaking of fresh we ordered the avocado for a side and it was obvious the order was made from scratch.Salsa was tasty with the chips plentiful and tasty, as well. Drinks were good and reasonably priced.I know they have been there a while (more than a year or so), but so many places have failed in that space we never stopped in feeling like it would not be around for very long like all the others.Now I wish we would have checked them out sooner.

The fact there were 3 reviews less than three stars, two vegetarians that complained about their alcohol and one who whined about a $1 technology fee. Hello get out more, this is becoming more commonplace. Sorry $1 ruined your experience. Stay home! Food with protein is excellent and some of the best Tex-Mex in Atlanta. Birria goat is superb.
