This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Suwanee. The food is incredibly authentic, fresh, and made with unique recipes that really stand out. Every dish is bursting with flavor and clearly made with care. The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming, making the experience feel warm and personal. The restaurant itself is spotless, including the bathrooms, which is always a plus. The drinks are strong and perfectly crafted, adding even more to the overall great experience. If you're looking for real, authentic Mexican food that tastes amazing, this place is a must-try!

Let me first by saying my husband and I stopped in on a road trip home. We are originally from the Houston area where you can find great Mexican food. The place was clean, service was great and chips/salsa was a good start! We also order the guacamole with jalapeño. It had zero spice but still very good. I ordered a brisket and chicken taco, neither had much flavor at all. My husband didn't have much to say about his soup or shrimp cocktail either. I feel like this place would be great for more of a drinks/ appetizer type night.

A small hidden gem.It was open and bright and staff were very friendly. I love that decor as it is simple and traditional. I loved loved loved the poblano soup! I may have to come back again before we leave this weekend. And the passionfruit margarita was yummy as well.

Alebrije is such a great spot! We come frequently and my in-laws are regulars. The service is always amazing, the food is incredible as well. Everything I've tried here has been delicious. The house & spicy margaritas are our favorite, they're super fresh. I love the open kitchen & we sit on the patio a lot too. Definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area!

We came here with another couple on a Monday evening. It was quiet and we were greeted and sat right away. The menu is available via QR code. We all got a margarita and they can do salt, tajin or sugar rimmed. I got the Serrano margarita and the spice was subtle, but delicious. My friends got a pineapple and mango and they all enjoyed the drinks. They started us with warm chips and salsa. The salsa has a really nice Smokey onion flavor that I enjoyed. I can eat a whole bowl by myself! Hubs and I shared the Alebrije stone for two. We each got a plate of chorizo, rice and beans and the dish was packed with chicken, steak, shrimp, cheese, green onion and cactus. Everything was so tender and I really like the tomatillo sauce. We had plenty leftover to bring home. Overall, nice place to check out. They have some different dishes that I will try next timer! Attentive service and nice drinks!

Have had this restaurant on my list since we initially moved to the metro ATL area. We happened to be nearby and decided to come in around 6pm on a Saturday. There was no wait at the time and were able to get seated but shortly after the dinner rush began and folks were having to wait. It's a cozy spot with good service. They have a kid's menu which we ordered from for our 2 year old. Our son loves guacamole but theirs has jalapeño in it so it ended up being a no go. To eat I had the steak tacos and they were tasty and filling. Reminded me of the type of tacos from our time in Mexico. The esquites were also on point. Bonus was I ordered a margarita and they were having an anniversary celebration so my margarita was a 2 for 1. Would come back without hesitation when in the area.

Local Mexican spot in Suwanee and could never go wrong with it. I always get the tacos, which never disappoint. My favorites are the steak and Carnita tacos. They are seasoned well, which is a must for a street taco which is minimally dressed with toppings. The ambiance is not flashy at all, and pretty basic looking but it's ok because the drinks and food make up for it. The service is also always on point.
