Ordered breakfast sandwich here this evening.Friendly waitress, serviceable meal.Waitress cleared my finished plate, left the check.Sat for 10 minutes texting with a friend, place was empty save one other customer.Burley guy, presumably the owner, comes by, grabs my water and half-finished soda from me, "asking" if I was done. Super passive-aggressive move, no eye contact.He walks away, I yell after him, are they closing?He tells me in 20 mins. (Website says 24/7 including holidays.) I'm not begrudging anyone the right to close when they want, but have some manners, and some tact - you came off as a petulant bully, pal.

The protocols they followed during the height of the COVID-19 event were very good. Thereafter, when Covid was a little more under control they still employ safe standards. We recently ordered Thanksgiving dinner and the sides from them. The turkey was tasty and juicy. The side items were so good! The Italian wedding soup tasted like a nonna made it. And the dinner was reasonably priced. We plan on ordering holiday dinners here again.

We had a party for 30 people at 2pm last Wednesday. We scheduled a few days in advance. We were able to select from 3 small platters and 2 types of sandwiches for the group. We chose the Chicken Parmigiana, Broiled Flounder, Crab Cake platters, and for the sandwiches we selected Cheese Steaks and Turkey Wraps. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. The soups and the Greek salad are fabulous! The small platters were not small at all and the service was Top-Notch!! The menu is gigantic and if you come with a couple of friends there is plenty to choose from on the menu so no one will be disappointed. We've eaten at the Aston Diner many times and have always been pleased with the consistent friendly service and great food.

I went into Aston Diner this morning for the first time ever because a friend of my recommended them. I have to stay the lady at the register with blond hair, older woman, was the rudest person I have ever encountered in a restaurant. I didn't know where to go to pick up my food and she rolled her eyes at me. after paying she told me my food was behind me, she couldn't even hand me my order, on top of that she didn't even say "Thank you." This was not a pleasant experience and I will never be back to an establishment that has employees who treat their customers like they are doing "Us" a favor. Wow is all I have to say!
