Assaggio's Pizzeria Ristorante

We order takeout from Assaggio's at least once a week. It's definitely our fave for Pizza & wings, but their pasta dishes are excellent! The baked ziti is amazing, so is the lobster ravioli. We've tried several different menu items and are always happy. The service is great, the owner and staff are very friendly. One of the best restaurants in Fuquay!

We ordered a Chicago style pizza last night 8/6/24. We pulled up at the time they said it would be ready, but ended up waiting another 15 minutes. When we started eating the pizza the crust was so hard you could actually hear it crunch and the pizza flavor was very bland. I hadn't had a pizza from here in ten years, now I know why!

Great little firecracker of a pizzia place!!!!Staff very nice and helpful, and gave me more garlic knots for my meal and ask anything else....that's what matters. Is little smile and kindness go's along way.... thanks for a great experience!!!!

Review 4 for NC Pizza . Had the 12 cheese pizza and one slice of pepperoni pizza: The pizza was very very good! The crust had a nice crunch to it and for me was the best part of the pie. The sauce very good also. The undercarriage of the crust was done to perfection. The service was excellent, perfect, polite job well done! Now the best part. I had the Italian wedding cake for desert and holly cow that thing was amazing! Amazing 5 star plus desert. By far the best wedding cake I have ever had. You canjust go here for the desert! I should have taken a photo of the Wedding Cake! Ugg ok have to go back!

Pizza was very good 7.3 out of ten. NY style. I will return. Lunch special for two slices and a pop is under $10

Pretty good if you want a quick pizza and pasta fix, and have no energy to cook dinner. I'm new to the area, and they were available for pick up on a Saturday night, so loved that. I've only been inside once, but the young ladies at the register were super sweet and helpful. What I do like about it: the pizza shop gave NYC vibes, so you know the food will be great!

Ohhh how I wish there was consistency here ..last week had the best 2 slices of pizza ..was done perfect ..crust was crispy ..everything was done right ..fast forward a few days ..different story ...me and the wife went and ordered a pie ...it came out underdone , doughy, way too much cheese , sloppy, you name it ...it's a shame it's so inconsistent....

My guilt compels me, in this new year, to...............stop being selfish. I've had just about everything on Assaggio's menu and not spoken a single word of it. Truthfully, i consider myself a good Italian honoring the code of silence. *shrugs shoulders* but i'm spilling the beans. Assaggio's has become my favorite place to throw money at. I have yet to be disappointed!!! *2 thumbs up & 2 big toes* Tonight i got the Penne Bolognese (i asked for a ladle/spoonful of extra sauce) which comes with garlic knots and a side salad. They offer great dressings for a nice selection of different salad options.I've been to the restaurant itself only 3 times, but i've ordered over 20 times in the last 1-1/2 months. Told ya, i'm a fan!!! It's a 'order at the counter' kinda place, which forces you and your appetite to come belly to glass with their desserts!! Oh.!the.!desserts.! Just allow yourself to indulge shamelessly until your heart is content...you deserve it!!Yelp World, listen!! If you haven't been to Assaggio's and by some chance you just haaaappen to be from the North (i know there's a few.....thousand of you's out there, haha) go check out Assaggio's. That goes for the rest of you's too *chuckling*Oh, try the Margherita Pizza "mmmmmMWAH"!!!

I was really in the mood for meatballs and didn't want to cook! After I picked up the food and cleaned up all the sauce that spilled all over the bag, I took a bite and was so disappointed! The pasta was undercooked and the meatball was a tasteless sphere of rubber. What a waste of money!

From Long Island, NY to be fair. I always order a regular pie when trying out a new pizza place. Wasn't expecting much but probably won't go back. Being honest, it's bowling alley pizza. The pizza you get at a kids birthday party. Crust was... well, there was no crust about it! Please don't call it NY style pizza, you're so far from the mark. Garlic knots weren't bad, but not great sauce wasn't bad. Size of the pie for a large 18" ... Nice people... cute place but no bueno on the pizza.
