Good food, bad service. They gave my friend a huge problem with her ID and made her feel like crap. Sad, because I used to love this place. Won't be back.

i have been hear so many times in the past. aspens has been my go to place after being on the boat all day. i told every one i know they have the best 7 dollar burger any where. the locals hang here and ot never has a large crowd. not any more prices rased to 10 dollors for burger 1.50 for fries and .50 for cheese. A 12 dollar burger now! guess they did not have flood insurance. and i guess i will just go into Kemah for a 10 dollor burger. sorry Aspens. your burger is to expensive

While I am, above the norm. Who cares. I have been visiting this bar for a long time. I know the people, workers and enjoy that location.

Local dive bar located near the entrance of Clear Lake Shores. Not a bad place to grab a beer, average prices. The wings are just okay. If you are starving they will hit the spot. On Mondays they are .50 cents each and they also have a $2 longneck special. On our last visit we ordered the burger and fries. The burger was very good. Fresh ground beef, very thick, cooked well and had a great flavor. The fries were hot and crispy. The cook even checked to make sure everything was ok. Great job!For entertainment they have live music on the weekends and a jukebox during the week. They also have a pool table, a couple a golf video games and a few TV's. They allow smoking inside, NOT A FAN! They also have outside seating with a waterfront view. It's nice but still too hot this time of year.The bartender and waitress make sure you always have a drink and are friendly as well. All in all not a bad place to have a drink and to listen to some tunes.

The Most Boring Bar Ever goes to..... Aspens!!! They recently upgraded the outside, but the inside is bland! No music????? IN A BAR???? Who wants to sit in silence at a bar??? The jukebox didn't work and was tapped off for use. The inside reeked of smoke and offered only a single pool table with beaten/cracked sticks. The only perk is you can sit outside on the patio on the water. Upgrade the inside...... at minimum have music!!!

What a dump. Went there to grab a few and listen to a band and was out of there within 30 minutes. Extremely smoky and one too many sketchy people that were obvious regulars. It's a shame too, nice location for what could be a nice bar but you gotta keep the riffraff out!

Nice little place with one pool table and a dart board. They play good music and have bands come out. Good time!

Should really be 4 stars, but it's my 'local' and my favourite local spot; the service is usually fast and friendly and the beer is cheap (Tecate and Rolling Rock). The live music varies in quality from average to excellent but I've had many more good nights here than bad ones.

Great Bar, love the atmosphere, very clean and great owner and bartenders. Bands are good and drink specials awesome. I had food there several times and very good. Overall a very friendly atmosphere.
