This has been my family's go-to for pastries in Chinatown for years. The ladies working here are super friendly, and the prices are hard to beat. Recently though, some of their items have been lacking - namely the pineapple buns (bo lo bao). There wasn't enough topping and it lacked flavor overall. It is worth stopping by for their: - Ye si lai yao bao (coconut cream bun) - Swiss cake rollsI'd get these again here. Make sure you bring cash.

I came here years ago and they weren't very nice to me so I never came back. But! The ladies working here were really nice and friendly this time around! I came today to try the coffee + milk tea drink. I also got one of their roll cakes. Cake was yummy, coffee a little watered down. Small space but a lot to choose from. Coffee and cake came out to be just under $6. I think that's an okay price. A con though, I don't remember things being labeled so you just either know what the item is or ask.

Good amount of options for desserts of various options, including meat options. Pretty easy to buy things in bulk. Right in the midst of Chinatown so easy to pop in after getting lunch to grab some goodies to take home.

We wanted some Chinese bakery items and came across this bakery while walking around in Philly. It was a little busy. It's hard to see the names of everything but it was cheap & good! Wish it was clearer to see everything as the shop was a bit cramped but decent

Wonderful place to get BBQ Buns, BBQ crisps, and Chinese bakery goods. Of course, their specialty are the BBQ Buns and Crisps. They also have frozen steamed BBQ buns available as well, but you need to ask for them. Owner is friendly, and can communicate in English and Mandarin. Cash or credit card with small fee.Store front is not large, and you may miss it if not paying attention. They also can do custom bakery if you call ahead of time.

My friend bought bolo baos from here back to me. The dough is huge and the topping barely covers the whole bolo bao, the bao itself is pretty sweet. An authentic bolo bao isn't as doughy with the topping covering the whole surface of the bao.

Wow, there was a bolt/nail cooked into the bun. This is very dangerous. Thank God, it was an adult eating and not a child. Won't be coming back here again.

I love the pandan cakes here. Cash only. Prices are very reasonable (around $2 per pastry?). They have other desserts that I want to try.

Egg tarts were horrible. Custard was overcooked. Pastry was not good. Mochi balls with peanut and coconut were sour, probably spoiled. Sponge cake was ok. Go to another bakery. This place is terrible!!!
