It's 2023 and rating is still five stars. Still a Friday regular.Service and food are terrific.

Waitress was very pleasant and provided great service. Very friendly environment. Not the best breakfast but a very good option.

The food was good, will not return though. I'm not that guy who complains about service, but when I am ignored as if invisible and the tables on both sides of me get served before me, yeah, I'm not coming back. The waitress literally served one table, walked past my booth and went to the next table. Couldn't get a drink refill, couldn't get a waitress to return to my table. Not a pleasant experience.

Not impressed. I never went to the last location and they moved to this new spot mid-December 2017. There are currently no signs outside for the diner. The old Scott's Barbeque signage is still up. Wait staff were slow today and we didn't love anything we ordered. Biscuits tasted old and were soggy. I guess that's what happens when you come at 10 am and they opened at 6 am. Apparently today was busier than usual and being in a new location probably doesn't help. If I had a quarter for every time the waitress said "we've been really busy today" then I would have eaten for free. Overall, very disappointed. We don't plan to return. Perhaps they will work the kinks out soon and they will have better service in the future.

Reasonably priced menu items. Good food, good service. Hot coffee. Ordered eggs, bacon, toast, hashbrowns and hash. All was good. Waitress was very polite and checked on us often. My wife ordered 2 pancakes, they are huge and we took one home with some bacon. Bacon and pancakes were above average. We will definitely go back again soon. Nice place for breakfast.

The best home cooking in Goldsboro. The daily specials are awesome. Best to go early (11-11:30) to beat the crowd for lunch.

Great Food. Friendly service and good prices. Home made food and they have daily specials.

Overpriced for the amount of food you get . Me & my granddaughter eat breakfast there for the first time was fair but want be back Waited to long to be served

Food is good, however, the owner Ashley, seems to ignore certain customers. I went in with my husband who does visit the restaurant often and when she saw him she came back with a big to go cup of tea (and he did not ask for the to go cup). She never once acknowledged that I was sitting directly across from him in the booth and never spoke or asked if I would like one either. She needs to learn some respect for ALL her customers not just the regular ones or just the men.

Have been several times. Prices decent but service poor. Every time I've been they brought out my husbands food a good 10 minutes before mine. No hard orders just one pancake and sausage. Also last time our waitress never came back after taking order. Someone else brought out the food. I had to literally flag her down to get a refill on the coffee. Have only tried their breakfast. Very disappointing.
