My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday dinner at Ashiana. From the warm ambiance to the attentive staff, the restaurant creates a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is a journey through the diverse flavors of India, with expertly crafted dishes that showcase the chefs' skill in blending spices. Highlights include the crispy samosas, flavorful Butter Chicken, and aromatic biryanis. The staff is great and very attentive. Highly recommend.

Wonderful service down to the point of no return!! These people are so incredibly attentive. Your water will never run low and you will never leave still feeling hungry! The authentic drawings on the walls tell such an intricate story of the owners past experiences! Just watching, you learn so much history and about the culture. It's like sitting in a museum but with food! The food was made with love! You could taste every single ingredient! It resonates with your soul! Very very flavorful. Although this is a buffet it tastes like a 4-5 star restaurant!

The food was good, the service was fantastic and overall this place is very good. However, if you're a spice lover and you are planning to eat here, make sure to make everything extra spicy or else it won't be spicy enough for you. But other than that, this place was great.

The lunch buffet is kind of a good deal because it's only like $18. I am Indian so my review is a little more harsh than my usual. What they had out for tandoori chicken was bland. The gulab jammun had weird taste... kind of like the taste of bad tap water. Everything else was pretty good... the daal is not the popular traditional type (it's spicier and tastes less good). Palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, and mutton curry were all good. Can't comment on the naan bc I'm gluten free. The service was skins of annoying.. they kept asking us if we wanted more water. At one point, they had asked us 3 times within 2 minutes. I feel like I'd still choose to go to Nirvana's buffet over Ashiana even though they're more expensive bc tandoori chicken is very important to me, which Nirvana gets right. The vibes are good on the inside (terrible outside).

Reliably Good Indian RestaurantI have been a customer of Ashiana's for many years. I have always had a good meal. Some of my favorite dishes include Rack of Lamb, Lamb Korma, Butter Chicken, Samosas, Saag Paneer, Baingan Bartha, Kheer and Indian Tea. They also serve a buffet certain days for lunch and it's a good value. I definitely recommend Ashiana's in west Houston.

new management and new chef. I am born and bought up in Hyderabad. Needless to say , I have had biryani from one of the best restaurants. Has ordered a chicken biryani her and the chef drove me crazy with the blend of spices and flavors . Must taste the biryani. I will for sure try the goat and shrimp biryani. Yummeeeeee.

Riba the waitress is so welcoming and accommodating. She is always the best waitress and goes above and beyond. The chicken tikka masala is off the charts. The naan is moist and soft and fresh and hot. The vindaloo will be the best thing you ever ate. The spicy minced lamb is so good I crave this place all the time. They are so kind and welcoming and high class and quality service. My Indian cousin even approved !!!!!! That's when you know it's worth it. 5 stars!!!

Just finished enjoying a wonderful Saturday lunch buffet at Ashiana. Sample several of their dishes including stalwarts like butter chicken, tandoori roasted chicken, goat stew, limon rice, lentils, spinach, and fish with tamarind sauce. I am not typically a fan of buffets, but in Ashiana's case, the food was kept warm and fresh. Enjoyed a cup of spiced chai to finish the meal. The naan was exceptional - light, slightly puffy with the requisite infusion of garlic. The restaurant is under new management. The price of the lunch buffet is quite reasonable. The staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying out both the Indian and Nepalese influenced dishes.

My 1 st time to order at this restaurant and what a disaster. I wanted to eat Sarsoon ka Saag and Makki de Roti and so I placed the order, picked up the order came home opened the order and NO Makki de Roti, upon calling them they said that they don't have and thats why they gave me Naan so just eat it with Naan. Are you serious ??? No apology, no offer to make things right. I also ordered Dessert SO called Sukha Tukra, the bread they call TRES Leches was as stale as it gets, I called again to talk to the manager and asked her to go and taste and call me back. She did call back and went to say that the milk gravy was fine and that I should enjoy that....WOW WOW WOW. I called them because I am a small business owner and wanted to give them a chance to make thins right......but no. They don't deserve any business GRADE D
