So delighted to come across this place. Definitely a bang for your buck. These days it's hard to find a good Japanese place that does not compromise flavor for price. This place is perfect for date night with dim lighting and cozy booths. The staff is so attentive and kind.We started our meal with the gyozas that were pan seared with a pork filling. The dipping sauce paired perfectly with the delicious taste.For our entree we both had fried rice which for $17 these days you don't expect much but WOW the portions are huge definitely enough to share or else you will be taking it home. The rice is packed with flavor and they do not skimp out on the protein. Will definitely try out the sushi next time!

I went here on a whim with my best friend and was a bit worried considering the amount of people waiting for a seat!However, they were quick to sit us down at the sushi bar and we quickly got serviced by a kind waitress!I ordered, a dragon roll, a side of fried rice and despite being in a corner of the sushi bar we got our food super quick!The restaurant was busy!! But overall it was beautiful decor and had the nicest ambiance! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh and oh my goodness I wanted more and even got some to go! The price was very reasonable and I know for sure I will be back!

Very good spot, astonishingly affordable for the area. No happy hour here but you won't need it. The prices are THAT good. Sushi was yummy. I liked their more specialty rolls compared to their simpler rolls. I liked the Crazy Roll & Shrimp Tempura roll the most of what we ordered. The Bagel Roll and spicy tuna roll tasted pretty basic, nothing worth raving over. Came with a girlfriend, plan on coming back with the hubs to try out more of the menu. The service was attentive and patient and the ambiance had more of an old school feel but I expect that from most Japanese restaurants

This casual Japanese sushi restaurant located in the Aventura area of Miami has many options to choose from. We all shared Edamame $5, a salad $4.95 and Vegetable Fried Rice $11.95. Then we shared several rolls. Most dishes were very good but some average. The place could be updated.

I tried this restaurant a few months ago and never reviewed it because it was not memorable but since it's so close, I figured I would try it again. This Hass to be one of the worst sushi places I've ever been to in my life. The rolls tasted old and vile. I ordered a caterpillar roll that said it had whitefish tuna and salmon with avocado on top and all I saw was chopped up teeny pieces of salmon inside the roll was so small and it was $14 got a spicy tuna roll, and it added avocado that was terrible as well and the tuna Taki with the Ponzo sauce tasted sour is definitely not a good sushi place. Find another one.

My go-to for sushi in the Aventura area. Asaka serves reasonably priced, fresh sushi. Don't expect to be wowed by the interior - it is in a strip mall and could use a few renovations. The menu, however, is extensive and the food is good. There is also a nice sake selection.Recommendations: Spicy Tuna Sandwich Spicy Salmon Sandwich Torched Salmon Nigiri
