This has to be the worst service Ever. So Service gets a 1, the lady with dark brown hair is nice. American accent. She is sweet.The other lady not so nice. She told me she had to charge me for my drink I bought from the grocery store Phonecia. I was like, I don't think so.She doesn't get the orders right. I don't think she understands what people tell her. I ordered Two Lamb Sandwiches. Waited a while. I paid and took it to go. We got into our car, and opened our sandwiches and bit into our sandwich. First bite and mine was definitely lamb. But, my daughter said, mine is not lamb. It's beef! Nothing wrong with that. It's just we did not order beef and lamb, we ordered two lamb wraps. So, we turn on the car light and noticed one said; B, and the other said L. Well, for sure that must mean Lb and the other beef. So my daughter said, mom Please go inside and tell them. They got the order wrong. I go inside I told the rude lady the whole story, she says something in her language to the guy and all I understood was beef. So, they did not want to exchange her sandwich despite it having a B for beef. So, all of the sudden, I see this guy going to the cook and talking to him, then the rude lady goes and is telling him to do chicken shawarma, and another in beef. I was thinking this has to be for someone else. Then, they hand the chicken shawarma to this guy, and he was like. I did not order chicken. I ordered lamb. I was like oh snap. That is two wrong orders in a row. The guy ( must be the mgr.) starts getting mad at him. It's just something to him. He says I don't need her coming in here telling me what to do in the kitchen!! She's not letting me concentrate and do my job! I believe it she is pretty annoying.So get this, they bring out my sandwich and they get it wrong again it's beef again not lamb. So, the rude lady says you said you wanted beef. I said no that you got the order wrong it's supposed to be lamb and instead you gave me beef. Oh sorry I can't do anything about it. I said I want my money back then the guy just give her the lamb, so the nice lady heard it and proceeded to get me a lamb sandwich that was now ready. Honestly, based on my experience, I will never go back there. Also, this is got to be the worst lamb sandwich I've ever eaten I understand lamb can be gamey. , This wrap and lamb tasted like it was sitting there for hours. They did not get it straight from the rotating lamb skewer he got it from a little dish on the side that's chopped up and looks like it's been sitting there for quite a while worse Middle Eastern food, I have ever eaten. Go only to the grocery store. When you want authentic Middle Eastern go to Dimassi's.

The servings are huge and the plates are a really good deal. The lentil rice was delicious and the hummus, superb.You have to try the iced Turkish latte.

Excellent service. Kind staff! Thank you Nameer! Recommend trying the iced milk and honey coffee. Good blend of espresso and sweetness.

My fave shawarma place! I love how the Ingres are simple as I'm a picky eater. The chicken wrap is my fave. Chicken, potatoes, tomatoes and that garlic sauce! So good! The service is always fast and friendly. I usually go thru the drive thru!Check them out!

While I was growing up in Houston this was one of our favorite places, and my mom and aunt were some of their first customers. It's wonderful to see how much they have grown and expanded. And their shawarma, hummus and tabouli are the best in the world, and the owner is a sweetheart. It's absolutely one of the best things about Houston.

I drive 35 miles round trip to come here. Totally worth it! The beef shawarma is out of this world delicious! Fantastic menu. Fresh, quality food. Friendly service. Nice, casual ambiance. Can't beat it. So nice to see how much Phoenicia has expanded since being in a tiny space in a strip center years ago. A true asset to Houston!

Terrible experience in an restaurant. My order was forgotten about and I only received my food after checking on it checking with the cashier after 15 minutes. I guess my Shawarma was left on the press the whole time because when I got home home the paper was burned into the pita making it inedible.Had I not left because the food took so long I would have gotten a refund. Very disappointing, they used to be better than this. Bad service and inedible food, not a good day.

Great food, horrible service. First time: They do a final toast on the entire wrap, which is great. It's not great when they toast it with the packaging still on, leaving wax paper imprints in my food. Asked for a free wrap. Denied.5th time: Order two chicken wraps. Given a chicken wrap and a beef wrap. Asked for free anything at all. even a tea. Denied with the response, "Did you bring the wrap?" as if I was supposed to bring it home, make sure to bring it to the office in the morning so i can show them.It's not my job to check multiple wraps every order for burns and ingredients. Really wish they respected their customer's money.Edit; They burned paper into two more wraps. They toast the wraps with the wax paper. I have no idea why this is standard policy, it's really gross i dont want to eat wax paper.

I'm not sure why I never saw this place before because I always shop at the Phoenician. Now it's my favorite place to get lunch on Westheimer! Food always is fresh and the coffee is good too. I like that it's a casual place and I can just get something to go or I can sit and eat.
