Never heard of this place but was excited to try their lomo saltado. Unfortunately, the meat was chewy and not in a good way. I was underwhelmed by the meal. However, everything else was great! I was there for a birthday and there was approximately 25 of us. I was worried the food would take forever to cook after ordering but to my surprise the food came out super quick! The drinks were yummy as well and came out with a cool bubbling effect. I wish I would've ordered the churrasco because the piece I tried from my boyfriend's meal was soooooo flavorful and cooked to perfection.Overall, I'd come back to try something else from the menu. The front desk staff was friendly and truly cared about you.

Food was excellent, we had the ají de gallina, causa de pollo, one of the ceviches and lúcuma cheesecake . Food was perfectly prepared and the presentation was too. Great the atmosphere and our server (sorry forgot his name) was great! Will definitely return next time we are in Miami.

First night in Miami and we end up in Coral Gables for Peruvian food. Armoas Del Peru was a nice spot...reminded me of a late 90s fancy spot. Nothing super modern, but bright, vibrant...kinda what I expected for a Miami restaurant. With some cuisines, I have a test and for Peruvian food, it's their Lomo Saltado. My first time having Peruvian was Mario's in Hollywood and their Lomo Saltado set a standard. So I had to order it here.We also got a mixed appetizer plate. Our host was speaking to the waiter in Spanish so I had no clue as to how the conversation went, but this dish came out. And the ceviche here was amazing! I've never seen it in a milky/citric marinade and it was just so good. I feel like I'll have to use the ceviche here as my standard when comparing against other ceviche. The lomo saltado was a little different than I'm used to. At every other spot I've had this, the potatoes and the proteins were all mixed together, with either the rice served separately or on the side, Here, the potates and protein were separated. The sauce was also thicker than I'm used to, almost like a gravy. It wasn't bad at all and I did enjoy it, but after eating this, I do realize the preference is a thinner gravy. We didn't ask for it, but I didn't see any aji sauce anywhere. I usually have aji with my lomo to help give it some heat and flavor.Overall, solid Peruvian food here but I think Mario's (and Natalie's) in LA win for their lomo saltado.

Came in last Sunday for lunch. Our server, Yao, was an absolute sweetheart, super friendly and made us feel right at home. It was a bit loud since there was lots of families (and babies) enjoying lunch but the food and service makes up for it. We started off with their classic ceviche, and it was seriously amazing. Fresh, with the right amount of spice, and packed with flavor. For mains, I went all in for the lomo saltado and my boyfriend went for the fried snapper. Both really good.Yao had our backs the whole time, making sure we were well taken care of. So, if you're in the mood for some great Peruvian eats and amazing customer service, Aromas del Peru is where it's at.

This is a consistent experience on Service, Food Quality & Taste as well as a positive ambiance. The Pulpo a la parrilla is delightful with its side corn and cheese. The Seafood Chaufa rice is delicious, with lots of seafood and big. The Pisco Sours are the Real Thing. Thanks Jose I. We appreciate the caring service.

Ideal for a date night, especially on a Saturday when it wasn't crowded--a major plus for me as I prefer not being seated at a cramped table in a busy restaurant. The service was excellent; our server, Jorge, was outstanding. Additionally, three other servers attended to our table, ensuring our water was refilled, the table remained clean, and utensils were promptly available. The food was exceptional in both taste and quality. I look forward to returning.

I've eaten here multiple time and it's always been a great experience. This last visit unfortunately was disappointing. Our sever, although very polite and nice, did not tell us anything about the specials. I had to hear it from another waiter when it was too late. The food was not the best this time. I had the Corvina a lo Macho, way too much sauce and salt. We also had Lomo Saltado but unfortunately the meat was a bit hard, did not seem to be lomo. The Pisco Sour was really good.

We hosted a Baby Shower for over 20 people here. The food was as amazing as always. Some times when you have a group quality can change, but that didn't happen. The Manager, Jose Alonso, was so helpful and he and the entire staff helped to make it a great event!

Our go to when we are in the Gables area. Original pisco sour are good, the jalea mixta is well portioned for the price. The jalea mixta sushi roll is also fantastic if you want sushi and jalea to share. Their passion fruit dessert is a must to finish off a great meal. Cannot complain about the price when all their dishes are delicious. And if you want more then one ceviche, I recommend going for the trio with light spice if your not a spicy fanatic
