Pita Hut - Arlington

We passed by Pita Hut a week or so back and finally got around to trying it. We called in our order and were told that it would be 5-10 minutes. We got there maybe 7-8 minutes later and our food was ready to go so away we went. Everyone was super friendly, which always gives me good vibes right from the start. We got home and popped open our meals and weren't disappointed in the least. The Gyro meat was super moist despite the 7-8 minute drive home. Flavors were spot on and that salad was SUPER tasty. The rice was fluffy and delicious as well. We ordered a side of hummus and while there was nothing "special" about it, it was solid hummus with that classic flavor and good olive oil. I can appreciate that when it comes to my hummus. Simple and very good. The only knock I would say, and it is very minor. Because the pita wedges are put into the container with everything else that is piping hot, they dried out pretty quick. I would suggest maybe packaging those separate so they stay soft and fluffy. Our pita that came with the side of hummus was done that was and it was perfect!Overall, I am super pleased and glad swung by to try it out.

My sponsor treated me to dinner on a Friday evening. We discovered it was a drive through as we reviewed the website in more detail on our way over. We were accepting of this less formal adventure as we considered how pleased our baby dog would be since we would return home quickly and he would be able to review our food selections while he spending time with us. The restaurant is a renovation of a hot dog stand in the middle of a parking lot. They did a good job and improved the appearance. The order takes longer that a burger joint since they make a more custom meal. We ordered Baba Ghanoush, Chicken Bowl and a Gyro Bowl. One of the difficult issues was driving home smelling the wonderful flavors and not being able to sample the way you do when you have a burger and fries. The best part was opening the containers and being able to start sampling the great mix of foods. This is a very good opportunity to make a quick stop after being struck with a sudden craving for Mediterranean. We enjoyed all of the foods. They provided a good helping of the chicken and Gyro. Hope they don't start cutting back.

Yesterday I had the most amazing falafel sandwich with added jalapenos! It was so good I could not help but make yummy sounds with each bite! Everyone there is very friendly. Highly recomment!

The service was great ! Dude was super patient while we looked over the menu. Great outdoor seating when the weather is nice but only outdoor seating so keep that in mind. Food was delicious except for the fries. If the fries were more crispy this would've been a 100/10

If I could give zero stars I would. The hummus was nasty. I just threw it away. Don't go here.

So glad I stopped here! I got the chicken shawarma rice bowl and it was delicious, a large portion, and good price especially considering how much food you get. Drive through was quick too. Can't wait to go back and try the falafel sandwich!

North Arlington finally has a Mediterranean restaurant and the food is fresh and DELICIOUS!!!!Give them a try you definitely will not be disappointed.

I never leave reviews, but this place I'll never visit again. Hummus was gross, tasted like feta cheese, and not in a good way. Gyro meat was dried out, which I guess is why it was smothered in sauce. Over all, go somewhere else.

Rolled up for a quick lunch and so glad we did! Got the $10 lunch special of gyro and fries and it was huge, fresh, and delicious. Service was friendly and quick. We actually liked you didn't have to yell your order into a speaker - much nicer talking to someone at the window. Also ordered a side of hummus and it was creamy perfection. Will definitely be back!

The food is delicious! The service was amazing and the portions generous. We wish we lived closer. We'll visit again when we are in the area.
