"This restaurant is so cute inside, very aesthetic and beautifully designed. Food was delicious, we enjoyed the samosas, hummus, chicken shawarma, chicken kabob, and kufta kabobs as well as the mango and strawberry mojito mocktails. The service was also great! Our waitress checked on us often.I also wanted to mention that the five stars is in part due to the hostess in the front. She was so kind and really helped with our son who was getting a bit fussy. She made him a balloon hand out of a glove and a fun toy out of a water bottle. We very much appreciate her and would come back 100% because of her!! Thank you if you read this!!!"

First, the Mantu is basically a dumpling type bun filled with meat along with tomato paste, yogurt, lentils, and spices. The serving you receive is big enough to be a meal on its own. And it's incredibly satisfying as well! The Badamjan with Naan was amazing as well! They also have Kebob, rice, and baklava. The location was clean and well kept. "Once in a while, my wife and I crave for a good gyro. We came across this location and decided to try it. The place is small and narrow but the menu is brightly lite and they had a lot of specials advertised. We obviously had the gyro with just the lamb and added lettuce to it as it normally comes with tomatoes and pickles. I am not a fan of pickles and I have to limit my tomatoes consumption. I also ordered the falafel appetizer as I really enjoy a good falafel. The gyro sandwich was good. Very simple and to the point . The falafel was not that good at all. But I know finding good falafel is hard to find. Not a place I would try again but at least I know where to find a sort of decent gyro. For the price, you just got the gyro only but the combo comes with fries and a canned soda. For the value it was a bit much in my opinion."

"Don't judge a book by its cover! This place may look like a typical convenience store but inside is an awesome place to order food. I came here after my friend recommended it to me and I'm glad I gave this place a shot. They sell primarily Desi and Mediterranean food, but I also saw some American items on their menu like hamburgers and cheese steaks. I ordered the spicy chicken biryani and a vegetable samosa. The biryani was only $4.99 and they stuffed the container!! It was easily 2-3 meals worth of food. The spice was hot but enjoyable and the meat was flavorful. The samosa was $1 and was okay, slightly oily and nothing too special. I'm definitely going to come back and try their other items!"

"It's funny how from the outside you wouldn't think much of a restaurant with a plain text sign that says "Istanbul Grill". But it caught my partner's eye since Turkish food isn't a very common cuisine.We came here to celebrate my grandfather's 100th birthday and he wanted to treat 30 of his family members out to dinner. The restaurant graciously provided us 3 long tables for our reservation. The interior is very Turkish. Beautiful artistic taste with the evil eye decor and colorful handmade lighting fixtures. The service was unmatched. If you finished your water, right away someone came over to refill. I swear this was the most hydrated I've ever been at a restaurant. The food was PHENOMENAL. Everyone ordered something different, but we shared a mixed cold appetizer platter and a mixed hot appetizer platter. They even served the table warm pita bread. The cold appetizer was a really nice mix and the flavors all blended so nicely together. The most memorable hot appetizer I was able to get my hands on was the zucchini cake - YUM!Since I was with a large hungry group, I knew to order a few things on my own. I got a red lentil soup which warmed my soul. I could order seconds or thirds. For entree, I got a lamb chop which truly tasted fresh off a grill. My partner got a gyro plate. The meat was so tender and perfectly seasoned. Some family members enjoyed a Turkish coffee and Turkish tea - they loved it. The restaurant even provided a baklava dessert platter with a candle for all of us to sing Happy Birthday to him. Wonderful staff, wonderful food, memorable experience. Highly recommend Istanbul Grill."

I'd order from here again if I knew it would be ready on time. They also didn't provide utensils which I didn't discover until I got to my hotel... A bit of an inconvenience."

Order up and sit at one of the available tables/booths. What we got: Gyro sandwich contains plenty of nicely flavored gyro meat, veggies, and a warm, soft pita. We've tried the kofta kabobs, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and you just can't go wrongThe guys running this place (or at least always at the counter/preparing the food) are always super nice and patient. "My sponsor treated me to dinner on a Friday evening. We discovered it was a drive through as we reviewed the website in more detail on our way over. We were accepting of this less formal adventure as we considered how pleased our baby dog would be since we would return home quickly and he would be able to review our food selections while he spending time with us. The restaurant is a renovation of a hot dog stand in the middle of a parking lot. They did a good job and improved the appearance. The order takes longer that a burger joint since they make a more custom meal. We ordered Baba Ghanoush, Chicken Bowl and a Gyro Bowl. One of the difficult issues was driving home smelling the wonderful flavors and not being able to sample the way you do when you have a burger and fries. The best part was opening the containers and being able to start sampling the great mix of foods. This is a very good opportunity to make a quick stop after being struck with a sudden craving for Mediterranean. We enjoyed all of the foods. They provided a good helping of the chicken and Gyro. Hope they don't start cutting back."

"So I've been meaning to try Cava for awhile now, and today I finally did!! While the food was good, the customer service at this location was PHENOMENAL!! Seeing as it was my first time, I had a few questions and the two ladies helping me were SO kind, patient, and helpful!! They made the BEST suggestions and went out of their way to make sure that I had a great experience!! I had a lot going on and now that I'm thinking about it, I don't remember what their names were, which is unfortunate, because they absolutely deserve to be recognized!! They truly went above and beyond for me, and after the day I had, it truly meant so much. I am so grateful for their kindness. Anyway - ON TO THE FOOD!! I had a greens and grains bowl with the Superfood greens and the Saffron Basmati Rice. For my protein I got the Honey Harissa Chicken. For my toppings I did the pita crisps, tomato and cucumber, pickled onions, tomato and onion, fire roasted corn, and Persian cucumbers. I got a variety of sauces, and I got them all on the side, (just in case I didn't like any of them). SO glad that I did that! There were a few I wasn't a fan of, but the ones that I liked and ended up putting in my bowl were the harissa spread, skhug, garlic dressing, and the hot harissa vinaigrette!! As someone who likes at least a little bit of spice, I think I had the perfect combination of sauces for my preference, so FYI - if you're like me, DO NOT SKIP the skhug, the harissa spread, and vinaigrette!! Then if you want, add some garlic dressing to balance it all out. SO GOOD!!There were SO many textures and flavor profiles going on in this bowl and somehow, it all worked together perfectly!! All the vegetables were super crisp and fresh, and the chicken was juicy and delightfully seasoned!! I figured the honey harissa chicken may be too sweet, but thankfully that wasn't the case. It had a touch of sweetness, but it was definitely more savory overall, so that was a nice surprise!! Oh and before I forget, I have to talk about the drinks!! I decided to put together a random concoction of the classic lemonade, cucumber mint lime, and the pineapple apple mint. Not quite sure what the ratios were, but I did mostly classic lemonade and a splash of the other two and somehow it turned out amazing!! It was light, super refreshing, and delicious!! So yeah - long story long, the customer service ALONE warranted 5 billion stars, but thankfully the food was fantastic as well!! DEFINITELY check this location out whenever you're in the area!!"

Very nice touch as some were interesting to talk about. Food was amazing. We ordered the Fritto Misto, very tasty and unique batter. I enjoyed the crispy shrimp that's added on along with the two sauce! I definitely enjoy both sauce. One was tomatoe based and not sure what the white sauce was. However both complimented the shrimp, calamari, and onion strings. We ordered the short rib ravioli, Dua, and speghetti with meat sauce and meatballs for my son. All three were amazing dishes! I definitely would recommend them. Ingredients were fresh, and food was amazing. I enjoyed every bite! You can tell each dish was well thought out and put together perfectly. Customer service was perfect ! Nick and Rdeeda, took the time to speak to is even when they were busy. Nick was very warming as he wanted to ensure we had a great meal! You can tell he enjoyed what he does and put alot of care and love into his establishment! I recommend this place to anyone who's looking for an enjoyable meal! I'm coming back for their brunch! It's roughly the same size as the location on University Drive and the menu looks the same. They also have delivery via Doordash if you don't want to have to go to the restaurant.It looked really clean and everyone was really friendly. We tried their hummus which was pretty good. The pita bread had an odd flavor, it seemed oily and it tasted like they should have replaced the oil. I also had the gyro sandwich with extra meat. It was PACKED with meat, unless you are a big eater, the normal sized gyro is more than enough.I will give this location another shot, I hope to have a better experience on my next visit."

We found street parking near the front entrance. The ambience of the restaurant is upscale-casual. Everything was clean and wiped down. There is nothing really "mediterranean" about the interior, but that did not matter. We were greeted by our server very soon after being seated. It took a few minutes to digest the menu since it is pretty extensive and everything looked enticing.The wife decided on babagonush for an app, while I tried the Turkish tea pot. The tea was really tasty, especially after adding a bit of honey for sweetness. I tried the babagonush and thought it was good with a smoky aftertaste, but the wife disagreed and thought it was a little bitter. But it's my review so I have the final say. It was smoky. It was a large portion so we could only finish about half. It comes with a good amount of pita bread. We were also given a cup of lentil soup, gratis. It needed some salt but basically was good. The wife and I decided to split a combo tower which is one skewer of chicken and one of ground beef. We decided a Greek salad and roasted veggies as our sides. Everything was spectacularly good. The beef was juicy, tender, and had wonderful seasoning. Delicious. The chicken was juicy, tender, and had a wonderful grilled flavor plus whatever marinade they used. Delicious. The roasted veggies were perfect. Delicious. The Greek salad was perfect. Delicious. Service was very attentive and helpful. A very pleasant young woman whose name I did not get but it stared with a M. She was great. Overall, I consider this place to be a real find. It is off the beaten track of Belt Line by a few blocks, but if you see this restaurant it is definitely worth a try."

Whether I'm ordering a shawarma plate or falafel or lentil soup or hummus, I need something crisp and raw with it! A Greek salad. A little side salad. Pickled veggies. Tomato and cucumber slices. Lettuce and carrots and onions. You know how it is. And the freshness of the produce is pretty important. A couple times we've ordered from Gyros to Go and the produce has been colorless, limp, and watery. I'm not expecting picture perfect, ultra-radiant veggies or anything, just a little color and crunch! Besides the bland produce and the to-go orders being a little messily and loosely packed in styrofoam containers, we've enjoyed the food and prices here.
