"This places is amazing! The food came out insanely fast and fresh. Homemade English muffin speaks volumes. Coffee, mimos, and incredible staff will make you wanting this place at least once a wk in your life. Justin did fab and we can't wait to come bk."
"Angry Dog has been a family go-to for several years. As Upstate NY Natives, this might be the only place within two thousand miles to find Chicken Spiedies- and that was the draw. To be honest though? Everything on the menu keeps us coming back. We love the wings, the burgers, and of course, the hotdogs. This is one of the best burgers in the area, and they have the awards to prove it! Wash it down with a spicy Bloody Mary or a local beer, and Angry Dog is sure to please. It's bar food- this ain't no fancy joint, but every single bite is delicious!Parking in the area can be a bit tricky; your options are a paid lot, a parking garage, or metered street parking. Just be prepared to pay! Don't forget to make a trip to the Angry Dog bathrooms. That's worth a visit in itself. Be wary of big sporting events and local games when timing your visit. We've never had an issue sitting right down, but I'd imagine it's packed during peak hours and big games. The staff is nice enough and service is about what you'd expect. Seems relatively accessible, thought sometimes tables are pushed a little close together - just in case mobility is a consideration."

"I took my husband here for a special occasion during our vacation with our daughter. He wanted some place a little bit upscale, but sticking with the southern bbq theme which dominated our vacation. The ambiance is upscale rustic with dim lighting without being considered romantic. It was definitely a cool feel. Our server was very nice and attentive answering our questions and even playing with our toddler. Kids were definitely welcome here even though it clearly wasn't their marketed crowd. We sat at a booth and ordered a few drinks and appetizer to start. We got the fried green tomatoes. They were absolutely delicious! The breading was crispy and the bacon jam enhanced the salty/savory flavor profile. We were incredibly surprised by how good they were. For my entree, I got the baby back ribs. They were fall off the bone with smokey, savory flavors. It was very good. It was very good and came with sides of cornbread and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was standard good, but the cornbread was delicious. The perfect pairing of sweet and savory while being moist. It was very good! Plus, you got all that food for around $23. I was left feeling very full. During our dinner, I had to use the bathroom and everything was clean and well maintained. You know if the bathrooms are clean, they must care about cleanliness. We were very happy with our time here and I recommend if you are in the area."
"The mimosas and Monte Cristo are the way to go. And I recommend adding bacon. YUM!! Also, the host and waitstaff were so sweet!! Plus, it is such a bright space that you can't NOT be happy there. One thing I was surprised by was the popover that I'd seen rave reviews about. We tried it with the strawberry butter, and it was meh. I would not order the popover again. But everything else was very good."
"I went to celebration for a girls organization event. The restaurant looks almost like a home with lots of small rooms. We definitely liked the privacy. I ordered the turkey and dressing. My sides were mash potatoes and a salad. I highly recommend the cucumber dressing for the salad. It was delicious! The rest of the meal was good and all the other ladies enjoyed theirs as well. Service was good they came and checked on up frequently but still let us have our space."
"Jayna was a wonderful server! She was incredibly attentive and went out of her way to make our experience great. Sunday buffet was delicious with a great price. Lots of different options at the buffet: taco/omelet station, savory meats, breakfast/lunch options, sweets. Absolutely worth checking out."
"I don't visit my friends and family in Mansfield often (it's been 10 years), and we try different places but Our Place is the only place we have breakfast. The ambiance is delightfully cozy. They've freshed and expanded it in the decade since I was last there; all my favorite decor items were still there, still fresh looking among the newer things. And they all looked so good together. The wait staff is friendly and prompt and super helpful. And the food is always good. The last time I was there - 10 years ago - I had the pancakes and eggs with bacon and I still remember it. A whole decade later. Good food. They've changed the menu slightly but all my favorites are still there. This time, we ate there twice. Saturday morning, I chose the Texas Waffle plate, with eggs and bacon. And this time, they served the coffee in pottery mugs, lovely large pottery mugs. And they sold them. I got the dark blue one and will enjoy it and the memory of the people working there - hopefully not for another whole decade. I might return sooner. But until then, I have the lovely mug.We also ate there Sunday, before I returned home. This time, I had one of hte mini breakfasts - 1 egg, 1 piece of bacon, and 1 biscuit - plenty to see me off on my return journey. As always - delightful waitstaff, prompt, helpful, friendly, and the food hot and fresh, well prepared and delicious. The best parts haven't changed in a decade and I hope they last decades longer."
"Great place, great service. Wings we outstanding! Got the peri peri wings, wife got the monte cristo and loved it."
"Customer service is great, food came out fast and was plentiful, I ordered the chicken fried chicken with eggs, grits and pancakes. Pancakes had a good sweetness to them and were fluffy and good, chicken fried chicken was a nice portion and tasty. Grits could've used a lot of salt (but that was an easy fix) after adding salt, pepper, and cholula they were good. Love the ambiance, it's small and quaint but has good music and a good feel.Sorry no pic. Ate it too fast O_o"
"We loved our experience at the Yolk in downtown Dallas so we decided to give this location a try. Let me start by saying this location is crazy busy (Sunday morning) and extremely loud, almost to the point where it is difficult to converse. We did the wait list thing, showed up on time, and still ended up waiting another 15 minutes or so after that. We were seated by the kitchen which added to the noise level. My second main point is that the food was good, but not as good as downtown. The wife's corned beef hash was dry. My chicken and waffles were good but not knock you socks off. The waffles were outstanding, light and fluffy, and the chicken was seasoned and not over-battered. Yet, something was missing to bring it all together. The sausage gravy is very good. They work really hard when the restaurant is so busy and so I understand our server may disappear for a time. When we had his attention he was efficient. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. We are still fans of Yolk, but we prefer the one downtown."
"Needed update. I've been by many times since my last update. The last two times there were a few hiccups. There were years if not a decade plus run of perfection. So,I felt I needed to apprise the Yelpiverse of possible cracks in the facade of Bubbas perfection.I use the drive through 9 times out of 10. But,today I wanted to utilize all my sleuthing skills so,parked and entered. After years of seeing familiar faces today I saw none. This included a gentleman that appeared to be the manager. My order was efficiently filled and I was out the door. I did ask the young lady preparing my to go order if the business had changed hands. A few years ago Bubbas opened an outpost in Frisco that recently closed. Their product quality never rose to the occasion which amazed me. She looked at me not knowing how to respond and shook her head ," I don't know".All the signs of ownership change are on the surface. Let's see what happens. Doesn't matter to me who owns it,as long as the chicken maintains the award winning quality Today's meals were very good but,not 5 star good. Fingers crossed."
"Best Rueben sandwich and the fries are something special! Nice atmosphere and great friendly staff. The portion was huge."

The place has a clean friendly ambiance. Service was quick and friendly. Food was good, made to order. The coffee price was a bit high $3.89 in our view. It was okay coffee. Definitely better than most breakfast places, but was shocked when we saw the price.

Stopped by for weekend brunch and we had a really nice time! I can't remember our server's name, but he was a lovely college man with a great attitude. I started with a delicious Guava Jalapeno Margarita. Highly recommend as it was very refreshing in the hot summer weather. Foodwise, tried the following: Mini Elk Tacos - very tasty, but I would never be able to tell it was elk if the menu didn't say it was. The other flavors covered the elk too much making it a bit disappointing.Barbacoa Chilaquiles - the absolute worst chilaquiles my guy and I have ever had in our lives. Extremely soggy chips, which is unfortunate because the barbacoa was delicious. We actually ended up sending it back because it was too gross to eat (note: this is definitely not how chilaquiles should be despite what the kitchen staff says).Wagyu Pastrami Hash - this was insanely good! Such a unique and delicious dish! We could not get enough of it. The flavors were perfectly balanced and complimented one another in every way. Would come back here for the guava jalapeno margarita and the wagyu pastami hash for sure!

New to the neighborhood, my gf and I discovered this brunch spot about two blocks from our place. As a lover of pancakes, we definitely had to check it out after seeing reviews. I made reservations for 9:45am as I read that it could get pretty busy. We arrived and were immediately greeted warmly and lead to our seat. The decor is bright and airy. It actually feels a bit dreamy. We sat at table in the rear and quickly thereafter our waitress arrived. She was so nice and bubbly; offering suggestions and answering any questions. My gf ordered a latte and I ordered a mimosa of course! Both drinks were fresh and good! For brunch; the cloud cakes and strap hanger with bacon. Everything was hot and cooked to perfection. The cloud cakes were different.. in that they were more on the flat side vs fluffy. But they were really good. I loved the buttered-jam that came with the toast as well. All in all Dream is a solid spot and we'll definitely be back!

The service and atmosphere was excellent. Celebration is a great space to accommodate large parties. There are several little nooks within the restaurant to make it feel like you have a private room within this quite large restaurant. The servers were all great and accommodated our large party in a timely and kind manner. The food itself was very average. The yeast rolls were the star of the bread basket. The beef vegetable soup had great meat, but the broth was quite bland. The sides are served family style and all seemed to just be okay. Nothing stood out as being exceptionally delicious, but it wasn't bad either. It is quite pricey for the amount of food you are actually getting. The portion of the main dish that you order is on the smaller size, but the price is on the higher end. There is an option to order seconds of your main dish for a $5.95 fee. Overall, I recommend Celebration as a solid option for a larger gathering to accommodate a large group of people with a variety of different taste buds.

A friend offered to take me to dinner wherever I wanted as a thank you for helping him with some business strategy. Not wanting to head all the way into Dallas, I opted for Verf's, which I knew would be a reliable pick closer to home. Although it was Mardi Gras when we went, we got a quiet booth in a back corner behind the bar area and were able to enjoy a long conversation over a great meal. I ordered the Verf's chicken, which is garnished with hatch chilies, roasted corn and black beans. It comes with garlic mashed potatoes (my favorite carb) and asparagus. My friend had the ribeye, which comes with the same sides, and said the steak was cooked perfectly. We also split dessert--crème brûlée with blueberries, which was plenty large for two people. As I'd hoped, my friend was very impressed with the restaurant and said it was a great choice. I'll have to come up with some more clever business ideas so we can make a return visit.

Our Place is located off Debbie near the FM 157 in Mansfield, serving great breakfast and brunch in a lovely environment with plentiful food choices for the whole family. We visited this fine establishment on a Sunday right after the brunch rush and had to wait a couple of minutes in the waiting area to be seated. The interior is well decorated, and there is an abundance of tables and chairs to sit at for families and large groups. We were seated, and our drink orders were placed along with menus that were provided to our table. We went ahead and ordered a black coffee to start the day off right along with the chicken fried chicken that came with vegetable soup and a choice of 2 sides. We also ordered pancakes, bacon, and 2 over medium eggs. We ordered a kids' plate of macaroni and cheese and fries. Our server came and brought a basket of freshly baked bread with muffins. The chicken fried chicken was perfectly battered and deep-fried golden to perfection. It was smothered in a creamy gravy, and the chicken was well-seasoned and moist. The vegetable soup was flavorful and complemented the dish very well. The bacon was crispy while the pancakes were fluffy and soft. The eggs were cooked just right with the perfect amount of ooze coming from the yolks. The macaroni and cheese was definitely cheesy, and my daughter enjoyed the dish quite well. The star of the show was the baked bread and muffins. They were nice and warm and airey, and I found myself devouring every piece of bread along with the churned butter. Our Place was a terrific place to eat for a Sunday brunch, and our family enjoyed it very much. The customer service provided was top-notch, while the staff worked effortlessly to get guests in and seated. The food quality and service were outstanding, and the prices were fair and affordable. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying something new but most of all to get my hands on the freshly baked bread.

Somebody call the Knights of Nee and Sir Lancelot, and tell them about The Holy Grail! This place is great! My friend and fellow Yelper Diana D. hipped me to this place and it has quickly become a favorite! The atmosphere is very on-theme as a medieval tavern. There is an extensive drink menu, with particularly well-crafted (read "strong") bourbon drinks, and all for $10-$12! The Lavender Old Fashioned is really great if you're into Old Fashioneds, and the Bulleit Proof is also really great and extremely strong! As for food, I've had the fried pickles, the fried goat cheese, the brisket grilled cheese sandwich, and the meatloaf. Everything has been good! No notes. The service at The Holy Grail has been consistently good the times I've been here as well. The staff are all very friendly and patient. I look forward to coming back to try more things and have more of the menu. If you're looking for a good no-frills bar and grill at a decent price, your quest ends here. It really is "the Holy Grail."

"What went well? Service-Prompt, Attentive Food-Brussels and Wagyu burger was delicious! Ambiance-Pleasant"
"I've only been here twice now. A daughter once lived nearby and coming here was her Christmas Eve tradition. We went with her again last night. It's cafe food done well. I got the chicken fried steak with mashed (I've already forgotten what they call them) potatoes and Brussels sprouts. It was amazing. The steak was fork tender (I still used my knife). The server wasn't overly attentive, but the food made up for it. I initially thought my steak option was a little small, but I was stuffed as I took the last bite, so it was perfect. This may be our new tradition as well."
"Wonderful neighborhood counter order cafe! The restaurant at looks like it was a Victorian home converted to a restaurant. There's plenty of seating, prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious!I ordered the French Toast Platter:it came with 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, breakfast potatoes, and 4 pieces of french toasts with fresh cut fruitParking is right behind the building, and there's plenty of it!"
"Service was top notch and the food was wonderful! The whole experience was lovely for a rare Sunday morning breakfast out. They kept our drinks filled and our order was ready quickly.Pancakes, eggs, bacon and very berry French toast--so yummy!"
"Best pancakes in Frisco. This is a great stop for breakfast. The staff is friendly even though they are regularly busy. Their coffee is quite good too. I highly recommend."
"Food, ambiance were terrific and so was the service. Although they did not have an alternative milk choice so little bummed about that. Otherwise the food was on point and well as the flavoring. I had the chicken and waffle option with the jalapeño cane syrup. It was delicious. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist inside. Definitely my style the syrup does have a kick to it. Definitely will be back for sure."
"Interesting looking place! Had live music and open mike! Really liked their outdoor area. Had a great salad with grilled chicken! It was a nice portion as well! The young lady that took our order was very helpful since we had not been there before."
"A decent place to have brunch with friends or family! Cute atmosphere, and the menu has plenty of options. I've never had problems with the taste or display of the food, it's been yummy each time- and hasn't disappointed. Many places are unable to get eggs just right, but the cooks in the back have it down solid. They include a unique twist on several of their plates you won't see elsewhere, which is great to see in breakfast spots. The servers are kind, but very quiet and sometimes a tad unattentive, but it's not a major service disappointment for me.The food is quite pricy, but many plates have side options and their portions are filling. If you're willing to spend a relatively pretty penny for a breakfast joint- it's worth giving a shot."
"Went in on a Saturday for a late breakfast. The place was packed, but we got a table. I ordered the whole hog omelet, my wife had the eggs Benedict. My omelet was very good and well cooked. The hash browns lacked seasoning. My wife's Benedict left a lot to be desired. The egg was cooked hard, and the English muffins were too tough to saw through with her knife. The star of the show was the biscuits. I could eat my weight in them! The server was attentive and very courteous, making sure we had everything we needed, including drinks to go. The atmosphere is full-on old school diner. Lots of people and lots of food. We'd go back if we were in the area, just might make some different food choices."
"We came for a team dinner for 13, ironically at Table 13 :P. The table was setup and we got to sit right away. Very clean modern looking restaurant with some gorgeous chandelier hanging around. They offer a bunch of drinks including some excellent wine collection. We got to try a variety of appetizers among which I loved the deviled eggs and lobster bisque. For entree I had the filet mignon with risotto. I sort of wanted more flavor on my streak, I felt was little crusty as well. Risotto was too bland. At the end I had the creme brûlée, that was really good. Throughout the night service was amazing. Our glasses were constantly filled with our drinks. Plates were replaced as we went from appetizers to entree. Food came out in good pace. Other than slight disappointment with steak, I pretty much liked everything about this place."
"Excellent everything! Had the omelette, super fresh and filling, my daughter had the Nutella banana French toast and I it was so good, I had to copy down the ingredients so I can make it at home. Heather was our server and she was a riot! So fun and spunky! Highly recommend!"
"I absolutely adore State & Allen. I order GLUTEN FREE fried chicken (almost) everyday, and it is made to perfection.Big thank you to Manager Nick and bartender Tyler who go above and beyond to connect with me personally and remember specificities about my order. It makes you feel extremely cared about and special when someone who deals with of hundreds of people a week goes the extra mile for you. So thank you!! (Nick)The food is delicious, and I love going on a Sunday after church. Thank you again for the exceptional service."
"Bad food, bad service, high prices, poor quality food .. We got the brisket tacos ($16), cajun shrimp + avocado($20), and the parmesan truffle fries. The brisket was super dry and the taco itself was even more dry. It came with a side of corn that was made from frozen corn and was tasteless, too. The cajun shrimp + avocado dish barely had any avocado in it and it also came on a bed of tasteless frozen corn. The parmesan fries were the best thing we ordered but they came out room temperature. Our server didn't come to our table until 15+ minutes after we were seated. Another server was busy chit chatting with his friends and kept his table waiting for long periods at a time because he was distracted. The ambience was pretty nice but all the other downsides are definitely going to keep us from coming back here unless there is a family gathering or birthday we are invited to. Pro's : Has a good amount of parking, easy to find, good location if you live in Coppell."
"We are visiting Frisco from out of town and noticed this great restaurant was right down the street. We had dinner here our first night, and wow it was amazing. I had the patty melt and my wife had the meat loaf. For dessert we had their beignets, and wow, those were amazing too. We were so excited and stoked about the quality of food, that we decided to go there again today (Saturday) for brunch. The food was again amazing for brunch. The staff is very friendly. The review lost one star because the chef was walking through the restaurant, stopped at our table, and reprimanded us for bringing outside coffee into the restaurant (we are from out of town and didn't know the rules and also double checked that it is not posted on the door). It is never a good feeling to be reprimanded in the middle of a family meal. Other than the one bad experience during breakfast, I would highly recommend this place! It is truly great food!"
"Strong burger! The owners are here working everyday to make sure they deliver to the loyal patrons. One of the best straight up classic burger values going in DFW right now .They get it right."
"These place is truly a great place to come and eat at! The service is amazing with true smiles and great recommendations for what to eat. The drinks are amazing and so are the bartenders. The ambience might me on the chill side but that's a great time to spend quality listening time with your partner."
"Well, I have now been to a Chili Parlor! Didn't really know what one was, but now I am in on the secret!Pretty much this place is much more than just Chili, but Chili is definitely the theme here. The walls are adorned with pictures of the founder Frank, his Chili competitions, a couple "specials" boards, and a few neons. Combining those things with the antique interior brick walls and it is a neat ambiance. Today I tried the Chili Enchiladas. They were really good, but honestly they were a bit overkill and I probably wouldn't get them again. My server Dulce was super efficient and did a great job.I definitely will be back, I want to try some other things on their menu..."
"I guess the food is edible. But if you want to enjoy what you're eating and enjoy yourself while you're eating, go somewhere else. My husband and I both ordered the Eggs Benedict because we know what we're about. Breakfast potatoes were sufficiently crispy but flavorless. Hollandaise sauce had no bite, and the poached eggs were way overcooked. Like the yolk was solid. You'd think for the amount of time they let the food overcook, it'd be hot when it got to you. But that wasn't the case. The service was fine but there was a little bit of "the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing" situation going on, so that was a bit inconvenient as well. Overall, we will not be returning."
"Great little place for breakfast there daily specials are really affordable service was on point food arrived quickly"
"This evening I met my best friend and his soon to be wife for a late lunch/early dinner. As they are in town for the weekend, I wanted to show them what I considered to be what is one of DFW's most scenic restaurants. Sitting right atop of Lake Carolyn's beautiful waterfront, Pacific Table has a beautiful and inviting ambiance. The hostess was absolutely lovely, professional, and attentive. Without a reservation we were sat quickly. The service was excellent. Louis was ultra professional. He demonstrated an excellent demeanor, knowledge of the menu, and candor that were reminiscent of some of the places I used to be a GM of. Places that were 3X more the price. Excellent service. Post dinner, the bar service has been incredible. Zoey and Julia, demonstrate professionalism, are quick on their feet, and an uncanny ability to multitask. The bar is excellent, and no wonder it's "full."Anyone looking for an excellent dining experience in Las Colinas, should come here. This restaurant has actually been a factor of mine to move from Turtle Creek in Dallas, to here."
"My last visit to Babe's was to transport their amazing Fried Chicken Dinner to my mom in Wimberley. She loves their chicken so I ordered a few dinners and picked them up. They are efficient and quick to get your order out to you.Anyways, if you transport the chicken open the box to let it cool faster and so the crust on the chicken doesn't sweat.I have a cooler ready to pack everything in once it cools off. The dinners arrived about 4 hours later and Mom is so funny, she ate the chicken cold for 2 days and know the sides warmed up really well. When your mama craves Babe's, you make it happen!"
"Great family place for breakfast. They have everything including some specialty things like Dutch baby, which is an apple baked pancake. Strong coffee, thick bacon and maple syrup.. what do you want for breakfast? Likely they have it."
"Hero by HG is a sports bar that benefits from nailing the first rule of real estate: location, location, location. Located right outside the American Airlines Center at PNC Plaza across from the statue of Dirk, Hero is a great place to go before and during a Dallas Mavericks or Stars Game.My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return)Atmosphere - On game day (only time I've been), the atmosphere is electric. Fans are outside the plaza, inside the restaurant, and the doors are open to welcome you in. Inside is a sports fan's paradise. There are a plethora of flat screen TVs everywhere, tons of seating (booth/table/bar), and a cool bar with a video board that wraps around it 360 degrees. 1 Star.Service - I arrived early 5:30 (game at 7:30), and while they weren't busy, they were slow. As gametime grew closer, Hero filled up and service was even slower. The staff was super nice, just slow. 1/2 Star.Food - It's a sports bar with sports bar food. We started with the Super Bowl Nachos with ground beef. The huge portion was easily sharable within my party of three. There were generous portions of everything. But in the end, it was still just nachos. I went with the chicken strips, which were very good. The strips were a big size, were hot and juicy, and came with tasty tater tots. The tots were excellent. Not greasy, crisp on the outside and piping hot on the inside. The tots were the hit of my meal. The only negative was the pricing. There's a cost to the location (and inflation). Our meal was $90 for nachos, two sandwiches, and my chicken strips. Still - I was very satisfied with my meal. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I wouldn't return for the food, but I would return for the atmosphere and location. Hero is right next to Dirk, the AAC, and is a great place to go if you want to soak in a full game day. 1 Star."
