"Enjoyed the chicken at a reasonable price. Sides were also fine. Although I got corn instead of the okra I ordered."
"Hands down, best comfort food I've ever had. Everything was so good! I cannot wait to share this place with my family and friends. It's a little out-of-the-way but so worth it. Perfect excuse for a road trip.I had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. My daughter had the mac & cheese burger with sweet potato waffle fries. Everything was delicious including the ice tea with crushed ice. Perfect."
"First, this restaurant looks like a hole-in-the-wall but the food is quite delicious. It's less than a mile from the freeway, so it's also a good road trip restaurant. The food is eclectic but Mexican and hamburgers and chicken. I personally think that's great, because if someone isn't crazy about Mexican or isn't in the mood, there are choices. I must say you get one bowl of free salsa and chips, but the prices are so reasonable who cares? The bowl of salsa is plenty big, and it is warm and packs done heat. My friend ordered the cheese enchiladas which gone with queso Fresca inside. In case you don't know, this is a hard cheese that doesn't melt, so it's like having a piece of cheese inside a tortilla. She wasn't a fan.But we shared my shrimp quesadilla which was awesome. Melted cheese, decent sized shrimp and great flavor. This was a total win."
"We went here on a weekday night for dinner with some friends and the restaurant was pretty busy. Their patio area is enclosed so it was nice to sit out there and it wasn't too cold or noisy. Our food was all very good. My entree of the filet was amazing, my friend got the steak frites and said the chimichuri on it was great! My girlfriend's soufle was also incredible and she wished she could order again! Our service was great as well!I would definitely recommend!"
"I come here often and the food and service is always great. They have a big menu, I have tried several different dishes and they are all great. It is also super affordable , compared to other breakfast restaurants."
"Please change status to OPEN. I posted this months ago and nobody has changed it!!!!!I just picked up some delicious food there today. I have NEVER gotten anything subpar. It is Always delish!"
"I dine out a lot. When I decided to try Claremont, I wasn't sure what to expect. Dallas is saturated with Vandelay restaurants, and they've really taken over the dining scene. In my neighborhood, Preston Hollow, there are several Vandelay restaurants within walking distance of my house. If I head a couple of miles south to Snyder Plaza, the density increases exponentially. There are seven or eight locations there alone. Go north past LBJ to Beltline? More. Around SMU? Again, more.It seems like everywhere you turn, there's a Vandelay concept. Don't get me wrong--they're good. I wouldn't call them great, but they're solid.Claremont, however, brought clarity and elevated the dining experience that I think Vandelay is trying to achieve. From a service perspective, Claremont was superior. From a food perspective, it was leagues better--while still delivering that trendy, upscale-casual vibe reminiscent of most Vandelay or Hillstone-owned spots. If I have one complaint about Claremont, it's that the food came out too quickly. They were so dialed in that there was very little time between courses. For two people, we were in and out in about 35-40 minutes, with one cocktail each, two appetizers, and a $130 pre-tip check. That's quick--almost too quick.A dinner experience like this should take closer to 45 minutes to an hour to feel more balanced. So, what did we eat?We had the burger, which I'd rank in the top three in Dallas. Seriously. It was perfectly crafted. They clearly either bake their own buns or source them from a quality bakery. The meat filled the bun with perfect proportions, and the flavors--thanks to the jam and grilled onions--were unreal. The patty saturated the lower bun, but the top bun stayed intact, creating an ideal balance of textures and flavors.I'm a tough critic when it comes to burgers in DFW, but this one blew me away. Oh, and it includes fries--something every $18-20 burger in Dallas should come with but often doesn't (looking at you, Vandelay). With them, fries are à la carte, and your burger ends up being $27.Next up was the tuna tostada. Fresh, crispy, and bursting with the right flavors. The bolognese was another standout--a total hit. After spending a week eating Italian in New York City, my bar for Italian food has been raised significantly, but Claremont knocked it out of the park.To test my theory, I'm going back this Friday to see if they can replicate the experience. If they can, I'll be singing Claremont's praises to everyone I know. For now, this is a must-try if you enjoy the vibes of places like Hillstone, R&D, DLM, Hudson House, Honor Bar, Il Bracco, or Bobby's. Honestly, I'd pick Claremont over all of them right now--and I already did by making another reservation this Friday!"
"Food is tasty and well priced. service is always great. Love coming here! Must try: La bandera, mango Margarita, # 2 & guacamole!"
"I came here for a work lunch, had no idea the are this place is on existed. It is a really cool area and The Tavern fits right into the area...I will give this place a 5 on atmosphere. They have done a great job bringing in the tavern feel and ambiance. The place has a really nice vibe. The service was really good. Our waiter was was attentive without being obtrusive. He checked in regularly and got us everything we needed. Our food came out in reasonable time and was fresh and hot.I ordered the Lemon Pepper Chicken. It came with mixed veggies and mashed potatoes. The chicken was good but the lemon was a bit overpowering in some bites. The veggies were seasoned with lemon pepper as well, and that was a little too much. Mashed potatoes rocked.Fun place, I will be back!"
"Great staff and very friendly service. Food was typical but atmosphere made up for it. Beer is cold too!!"

We've probably eaten here about a dozen times. It's been great food and great service every time! They've got enough variety on their menu so there's something for everyone. Highly recommended.

Looking for a spot to eat while shopping in Cedar Hill and this place pops up on Yelp. It didn't disappoint! The location is easy to find. Parking directly in front. Walked in to a quaint self seating dining area. Outdoor seating is also available. Greeted quickly and handed menus. It was no time until we had drinks and orders were taken. It really seemed like just a couple of minutes and the food was delivered. Wow. This might be the best little breakfast/brunch spot ever. The food was so delicious! I cannot believe how tasty everything was. The pancakes might be the best I've ever had. Light, fluffy, slightly sweet. Sooo good! This is absolutely my new brunch spot.

I love this place. Every time I go I always get the chicken wings. They are flavorful and crispy. I also order the corn on cob and fries. They are okay. Not stellar but decent side items. Service is quick and friendly. We don't normally eat there but it is clean place to eat and never too busy so there is always a place to sit. I would recommend this place.

Best tacos I've had in a long time. I ordered the taco plate, carne asada on flour tortillas with cilantro. Highly recommend adding a healthy poured of green sauce over the top. It gives just the right amount of kick while still enjoying the flavor of the actual food. If you love tacos, these are the kind you'll never get tired of eating. My friends are local and they also enjoy other items on the menu, but I don't think I'd be able to not get the tacos. Chips and Salsa are also very good. The restaurant feels clean inside and the service was quick and friendly. I ate a lot of food but I don't feel terrible like you can after some places. I left my phone at home so I wasn't able to grab any photos.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by Knox Bistro. This restaurant has a good amount of natural light and a lively atmosphere. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the steak frites and the meat was cooked and flavored perfectly: Drinks were on point and our waiter was attentive. There's a patio on the side of the building for those that want to sit outside. The inside has very tall ceilings and the tables by the windows provided a great video of the busy street.

We have always had great food and great service at Chubby's. I ordered the chicken parmesan this last time, and it was so good! The dining room is pretty clean, and there has never been a wait for dinner during the week. We will be back.

"We love coming to listen to the bands but today this southern transplant found the perfect shrimp po'boy."
"the food and service is wonderful! the chicken, eggs, and greens were exceptionally seasoned!"
"Good healthy breakfast and great service. A variety of pancakes and they are delicious."
"Customer service is great, food came out fast and was plentiful, I ordered the chicken fried chicken with eggs, grits and pancakes. Pancakes had a good sweetness to them and were fluffy and good, chicken fried chicken was a nice portion and tasty. Grits could've used a lot of salt (but that was an easy fix) after adding salt, pepper, and cholula they were good. Love the ambiance, it's small and quaint but has good music and a good feel.Sorry no pic. Ate it too fast O_o"
"Reservoir is an open air anchor restaurant in the Toyota Music Factory that has one of the best locations that overlooks the Texas Lottery Plaza. I finally had a chance to visit for brunch on a spring weekend, and my visit did not disappoint. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars Atmosphere - On nice weather days, nothing beats the atmosphere of Reservoir. The front of the restaurant is open to the Texas Lottery Plaza. If the weather's great, the sun and breeze flows in. If there is a band on the stage, you have the perfect seat. Either way, you win. 1 StarService - I stayed away from Reservoir due to the low Yelp ratings, but open further review, I noticed there were several 1 Star reviews due to service. Luckily for me, I did not have this issue. On our early Saturday visit, we sat ourselves, and a few minutes later had a nice and helpful server. No problems on this visit. 1 StarFood - I'm not sure what kind of food Reservoir specializes in, as their menu is diverse. We experienced their brunch menu but started with Cast Iron Hummus and Cheesy Garlic Bread. The hummus was great. It was served with pita bread cut in triangles. I spooned generous amounts of hummus onto the bread for a creamy bite. The Cheesy Garlic bread was like a cheese pizza. Not great but not bad either. For brunch, I called on Papa Smurf - three thick blueberry pancakes. A little too thick for my tastes, but it sure did make for a great photo. Looking back, the menu reminded me of a higher quality TGI Friday's menu: lots of variety for everyone, but nothing that stands out. 1 StarWill I Return? - Yes. I'll be back for the atmosphere. The food was good, not great, but nothing beats the location. On a pretty spring morning or a cool summer evening with a band on the stage, Reservoir is a great location to visit. 1 Star"
"Enjoyed this Restaurant while visiting family in Dallas. We went out to brunch and were seated at a table inside.Placed our orders after we were provided coffee and water. We order appetizers to start with of sticky buns and French toast, their version of it.Everything was very yummy, left everyone happy. I personally tried their Avocado Toast. It was very nice, not my favorite one, however in my top 5 recipes. The atmosphere was pleasant and lively. The services was very good, an we were well taken care of."
"The hills Blueberry Pancakes as a side and bacon were perfect! My boyfriend like the Chicken fried steak and eggs too."
"I chose their popular German pancakes and didn't like them. The pancakes were way too sweet that I could literally taste the diabetes. It's funny because I specifically asked for no powdered sugar but they still added it anyways. Our server was nice but maybe a notepad would be better than just memorizing the order. My wife didn't have a good experience either when she called the restaurant to ask if the biscuits and gravy had eggs in it. They told her no on the phone but said yes after we ordered them in the restaurant. She's allergic to eggs by the way. I will try again and the next time I'll ask again for no sugar and maybe no lemon either on my German pancake."
"Definitely my hidden gem, located in a building. They mainly serve people in the office, but I love the friendliness, ambiance of this place! My breakfast tacos here.. $2.09 and they're huge! I love it! And they can pretty much custom make any coffee drinks you would like! Mine is the iced white chocolate mocha (skinny), definitely better than the usual Starbucks quality and price!"
"It's not often you find an entirely gluten free menu, so I'm always going go love HG Sply. Where else can I find gluten free fried chicken sandwiches and meatballs and mac & cheese? HG is known for their clean, simple food and their signature bowls. The menu is stacked with all the proteins ("hunted"), and veggie/rice/bean sides ("gathered") you can think of. Build your own bowl or order of HG's specials. Last time I was in I shared the following with a friend: French fries with 4 dipping sauces, the pasture raised beef filet (with a coconut chimichurri butter), chicken kebab, crispy Brussel sprouts, and mashed garlicky Yukon gold potatoes. All of the food really was so good, just good eating! Our steak was perfectly cooked and the Italian red they have on the menu pairs well with it. Alec was our phenomenal waiter who took top tier care of us. Such an overall really enjoyable experience, I'm already itching for an excuse to go back asap!"
"Wonderful neighborhood counter order cafe! The restaurant at looks like it was a Victorian home converted to a restaurant. There's plenty of seating, prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious!I ordered the French Toast Platter:it came with 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, breakfast potatoes, and 4 pieces of french toasts with fresh cut fruitParking is right behind the building, and there's plenty of it!"
"I found them at first on UberEats and I've been hooked ever since. My kids ask to go here weekly!! The food is always fresh and amazing!! I haven't dined in yet, but I'm sure they're used to seeing my name on the "Togo" tickets every week. I ordered this for my mom while she was visiting from out of town and she fell in love and went back the next day!! We've only tried a few things on the menu, but our favorites are the Chicken Fried Chicken breakfast and the Italian Sausage skillet. Both are very large portions that we end up sharing! The chicken is always so flavorful and moist, fried just right. The skillet is the perfect blend of everything and the ricotta is the added bonus I didn't know I needed. I did try the Savannah skillet, the apple sausage was something I did not enjoy. Immediately it was a turn off with a sort of bitter taste to it. Other than that, it was decent. Kids waffles come with 2 mini waffles and an egg and choice of meat! It's more than enough for my 3 year old. She enjoys it every time. I highly recommend this place!"
"Food is so fresh and the staff is amazing! It's a farmhouse look inside - super pretty! Highly recommended!!! We will be back! Oh and I love their coffee!"
"Strong burger! The owners are here working everyday to make sure they deliver to the loyal patrons. One of the best straight up classic burger values going in DFW right now .They get it right."
"If you like semi cool beer and over cooked steaks and you have a couple hours to throw away this is your place! Tried twice on my steak and failed worse the second time. Drier than a nuns you know what. Definitely not medium rare !!"
"Lot 12 is perfect for football game days. You can't beat the space with the rooftop views and they have live music. During the TCU football season, expect it to be packed inside and outside. If you're wanting to watch a game, note that there are only two tvs outside and one is slightly blacked out due to the amount of sun rays. There are many lounge areas to choose from to chat with friends.During the summer months, they serve coconut mojitos that are delicious. I highly recommend those! If you're staying at the hotel or just want a rooftop bar outside of football season, expect Lot 12 to have a much more chill vibe with fewer people. I am a little surprised that more people don't come here because when the weather is nice, you cannot beat the outside area.Lot 12 does have a good looking light bites menu, but they can be low on ingredients some times. For example, my wedge salad arrived as a spinach salad and they did not warn me in advance. Check with your waiter that they have all the ingredients ;) I did really like the chipotle chicken quesadilla.Overall, Lot 12 is an excellent bar choice for rooftop views, outdoor seating, good drinks and light bites."
"We came here because it was recommended as a good spot for burgers and the pics of the burgers looked good on their website. Unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations. The food came out hot and was good but just typical bar food. The music was slow country that would put you to sleep and unfortunately we had annoying people sitting next to us being obnoxiously loud drunks. It was grown adults acting like frat kids. Our server was nice and when we first came inside, we were greeted and also said good bye to as we left. I had also asked our server to turn the fan off and he did it immediately. I appreciated that. I wanted to give this place 3 1/2 stars but since there's no half stars, I did 3. It wasn't quite 4 stars because I probably won't be back and felt it was just average."
"Step back in time with an authentic Texas restaurant and bar. Great atmosphere, food and staff! Complimentary biscuits and jam! Starters included unique, tamales and deviled eggs. Must try the "battered to perfection" Texas sized, chicken fried steak, on a bed of mashed potatoes, topped with cream gravy. Sirloin steak, "grilled to perfection" with a side of fresh, green beans. Great list of wine and beer."
"We order togo for our office often. The food is always amazing. Packaged perfectly and have never left anything out. They have a limited menu for togo and not sure if they have togo utensils as they never include them. Love the crispy chicken cob salad and smoked salmon."
"Oh my goodness. We have been wanting to go here for a while but they were closed for repairs or something. When we passed by one day we saw that they were open and had to try it out.I love kimchi. Kimchi is love, kimchi is life. So when I saw the Kimchi burger I was immediately drawn to it. I'm not a burger fan, so at first I was skeptical to try a burger with kimchi and take the risk of the kimchi not being great. With my husband cheering me on to try it, I ordered it.We sat down, and our orders were brought to us. My goodness guys. These burgers were the size of my head. The pictures I took do not do them justice. We are staring at these two behemoths and don't even know how to start. One thing I do want to suggest is maybe giving us like a knife or asking if we wanted it cut in half. Maybe there were knives somewhere but I just didn't see, but I will definitely be asking for it to be cut next time! This burger was perfection. The kimchi was amazing, the burger was tender and juicy. The only bad thing is, I couldn't even finish 1/4 of it. Well is that a bad thing? I asked for to go boxes and ate the rest throughout the day. Literally a meal that fed me all day. The staff=amazing. The burgers and fries=fantastic. The atmosphere=chill and I was boping with the music.I will return to try more items from the menu, why would I not?!"
"Hidden gem! we didn't know what to expect coming into this place.. but to our surprise it was a great spot! environment was good..Quick & attentive service..Food was pretty good! We LOVED the Thai chili wings & the Brussel salad was delicious! (Everything we ordered was amazing tho) drinks were really good as well (not pictured) Our server and the manager were so sweet! Wonderful experience overall."
"So if your in Cleburne, TX. We found the locals favorite restaurant. It's called sunrise Café. The only thing missing is the waitress wearing pineapple earrings. This will be my new go to your place. I would give it more stars but 5 is the limit. The waitresses are really fast."
"Stopped here to meet business associates a late dinner. The bar was busy with a band playing on the patio. Staff was attentive and friendly at both the bar and table service. Ordered a Reuben sandwich with fries, was generally good. Food was served promptly as the restaurant was starting to become less busy. As for a late night place would certainly recommend and return."
