I'm so happy I came here! The arepas are incredible. Freshly made with fresh ingredients. Everything was perfectly seasoned and they do NOT skimp on the fillings at all. I got the maracucha with chicken and will definitely be back here on another trip to try the reina pepiada.

I was craving arepas but didn't want to leave Miami Beach and saw Arepa Lover come up on my search. They are open quite late which is definitely a perk if you want arepas while in the Miami Beach area. The space is nice and there's lots of seating options. Staff was kind and helpful. I ordered the "vegana" to go but switched out the beans for cheese so it was an arepa stuffed with avocado, sweet plantains, and shredded white cheese. The arepa was fresh and tasty. It comes with a cilantro garlic sauce that had a good flavor. They have a long menu with lots of great options, Venezuelan treats and drinks. The arepas are a little pricier than outside of the beach, but definitely a good spot! Would definitely order again!

Walking in to this place, it is very large and open. The menu is huge and has some pictures, which is always nice. The service is nice and quick. The bathrooms have an out of order sign but if you ask for a bathroom key they will give you one.I got the vegan arepa. For almost $20 I would say that price wise it is not worth it. The sweet plantains are a nice balance but the beans are lacking flavor.Overall, it is a cool spot with lots of options but definitely overpriced.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. We opted for the "vegana" to take away but replaced the beans with cheese, resulting in an arepa filled with avocado, sweet plantains, and shredded white cheese. The arepa was both fresh and flavorful. It is accompanied by a cilantro garlic sauce that offered a delightful taste. In summary, it is a trendy location with a wide variety of choices, although it is somewhat pricey. The staff members were very welcoming.

My friend from Caracas was impressed. A few steps past the 7 eleven on Washington is a bright purple and gold Arepa Lovers restaurant. The staff is so friendly and the main front of house employee was from Venezuela. Coming from Jersey City, I mentioned how we've had a slow decline on availability of traditional Venezuelan foods and how this restaurant reminded me of one of my closest friend's home cooking. He patiently waited as I picked out some treats for her and looked through the cake options for a marquesa de chocolate. While they didn't have marquesa, they had a similar cake of chocolate and condensed milk. The Maria cookies covered in milk chocolate were a nice backup option. Arepa Lovers have a wide menu and kids menu with cachapas, arepas, empanadas, and tequeños. After having some less than desirable tequeños (Venezuelan mozzarella-like sticks)...these appetizers blew my mind. So happy to bought these. There was 6 to an order and they could be a meal on their own, perfect for sharing. They also offer breakfast, bowls, burgers, and bebidas. For those who love some alliteration. I ordered the pabellon (stewed shredded beef, which black beans, white cheese, and sweet fried plantains). For $15.99 this corn-based arepa will leave you feeling satisfied for hours. I recommend this to Venezuelans missing home and those like me who fell in love with this style of food and can't get enough of it. The friendly staff and plentiful options will keep you continuing to return to try something new.

Mediocre arepa and the stuffing was too drenched in sauce but the sauce was also super bland.

Highway robbery prices, for a fast food place and rude service to finish it off. Over 21 dollars for an arepa and a bottle of water, I could have had a full lunch at Fridays or similar restaurant for less or the same. Since they didn't offer me a receipt I didn't know what I had paid until I checked my credit card . I quickly cancelled the order and made a remark about the prices. The gentleman behind the counter suggested I go to Mac Donald's for cheaper fare. Can't imagine they will stay in business long.
