Aramingo's Best Pizza

If you aren't really planning for a place to eat or decide you want to order in last minute, this pizza joint is a good place to consider.Nothing we ate really stood out to us, but they have a huge menu, so I wouldn't base a total review just off a few plates.We ordered pizza, and got half of the pie with "sauce on top" as their marketing pamphlet suggested...there wasn't anything special about it. We liked the regular slice more, but as far as pizza goes, the sauce was relatively bland, as was the cheese. The dough itself was floppy and it was greasy. Have we had worse? Yes definitely, but in Port Richmond, there are so many pizza places, I wouldn't say you have to resort to this spot unless you live right around the corner. We also ordered mozzarella onion rings, which was just onion rings with melted mozz on top. This was a let down because the rings were clearly some sort of bulk frozen store bought brand, not homemade.I was a little excited about their boom boom chicken sandwich. The flavor of the sandwich was good. I dont know what boom boom sauce is yet lol, but whenever I see it, I have to order it. They serve this sauce on fries and other items, which I think I would prefer. The sandwich version was just an absolute mess. They advertise it being on a brioche bun, but it was closer to a potato bun texture which made it more soppy. They had a standard cheese hoagie - no frills, but they made it right, it was what we would expect.The service at the restaurant was great though! Very friendly on the phone and helpful navigating through the menu. We got it delivered, and it unfortunately took an hour to get to us.

Aramingo's Best is a great pizzeria located on the corner of Aramingo and Cambria in the Port Richmond and Fishtown area of Philadelphia. They have great pizza, as well as many other great options. Just be advised that while their cheesesteaks are decent, they use sirloin in place of the more traditional (and more expensive) shaved ribeye.Service has always been good and friendly and I honestly can say that I never had a bad meal here.Their pizzas are more in the Trenton style, where they swirl the tomato sauce on top, so you have multiple different taste profiles, a different one with every bite. Growing up in central New Jersey (Edison, to be exact), I never tried this style before, but I enjoyed it.All in all, this is a great place to grab a meal. I definitely recommend here.

I've been around the city, state and country. Even after all my travels, I still always wind up back at Aramingo's best when I'm in the area. Hell, sometimes when I'm not in the area. Their slice pie with the spiral sauce, literal chef's kiss. The bang bang shrimp are a great call as an app and if you want a meal that will have you drooling the boom boom chicken sandwich has you covered. It's a local joint that serves up hot, delicious food quick and in a city that has pizza stores every other block, you need to be able to tell which are the good ones and which ones to skip. This place, this place is a good one.

This place has good pizza. Customer service is okay if your white...ouch I know right.

$5 swirl pie! As long as you pick up. This is my favorite non fancy pizza place in the area. Of course it's nothing like your Bufad or Stella's which obviously have gourmet pizza. If you just want the shit you grew up with before everything got so fancy and expensive-this is it.

The food is actually good but not delivery accurately assessed. 2 blocks away? 1 hour later still waiting ‍‍

I moved out of Port Richmond 2 months ago, and Aramingo's Best is definitely the thing I missed the most. Delicious, quality food at a very good price and a nice and funny staff. Never once had an issue here.

I can't blame Aramingo's Best for my lackluster rating. I think I just prefer thin crust pizza over the fluffy pizza they offer up here.Everybody else I know likes it here. My husband especially loves the buffalo chicken pizza. They make very good hoagies as well. If you are like me & prefer thin crust then this isn't for you.

we ordered a couple of strombolis and they were awful. they had a bad taste and sauce had a different color than normal. this was not the quality we are used to from this place.

This place has the worst customer service! Ordered a pizza and when it arrived there was a slice missing! Called the restaurant and they yelled at me like I didn't something wrong! Then offered to pick up the pizza, but didn't offer a new one or credit. Should really watch who you hire, but that won't be my problem anymore. Never again!
