Apollo Cafe & Hookah Lounge

Easy to find and in an easy enough location, parking lot is super crowded and in disrepair but welcome to Houston, right? I went on a Saturday night and there was literally one other table full. So, it was nice and quiet. Ronnie, is excellent! He is very polite and helpful and attentive. He talked to us for a few minutes and made us very comfortable. We brought our own alcohol, and were charged like $10/person and got a bucket of ice for free. We didn't have to flag Ronnie down about coals or anything else. He checked on us the whole time and I would definitely go back!My suggestion to this business would be to invest in a music streaming service (it's just a few bucks)...because blasting music that is interrupted by commercials is kind of lame.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Super chill and homey vibes/atmosphere. The Apollo Wings were excellent, exceeded my expectations. The tea was really good too they keep sage in it & it adds a wonderful flavor to the hot tea. The lemonade with mint was a little sweet but I feel like it wOuld bE way better with a bit more mint. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Great little chill spot on Westheimer, if you're ever in the area come by and check it out!! I came here for the Winnie and I was not disappointed at all. @spacecityshmacks

The place used to sell food but they switched the rules. When we asked the owner stated rudely "this is a hookah bar" My hookah at home hits better Than the hookah here. Drinks are $10 for a small 6 oz cup. I would have been better off going to a regular lounge or staying home. The guy with the glasses has good customer service but gets over worked... But it's too many hookah bars in Houston to have hookah problems and expensive drinks. Owner is rude and literally arguing with another customer as I type this.

Great vibe and an even better hookah. Intetior is really nice as well! Owner is very personable and greets all his guests. Best part is it's a BYOB!!! HELLO!!!

Alright alright alright lemme be thE first to give the review! This place is life. Cool atmosphere laid back. Great food. Great music. Cool owners. Mannnnnn it has all the checks! I tell you though those wings. When I got here I'd already been fat assign around. So I coulDnt finish my wings, but they're going home wIth me. Imma eat em up come here please they really are great!

Attended here late night with friends. The owners were pretty easy going and took great care of us. The place is byob which made it even better for the large group of us. There was also the option for hookah if that's something that interests you. There's even a laptop linked to the speakers that allows you to play whatever your heart desires. Overall it's a chill layer back spot where you can go and not be in a crowd.

Apollo lounge is classy Lounge that meet every genre! Highly recommended. I am Goverment agent. If you look for a clean and great hospitality , No drama Apollo Hookah lodge is the place to be. The server(?) was super helpful and polite. The low lights and neon gave the place a fun and relaxed feel without being loud and chaotic. My partner and I went to three other places and we were about to call it quits after trying "one more spot". So glad we came by. We got a pineapple flavor with a regular topper. No food is being served at the moment. No problem for us as we weren't looking to eat. Definitely recommend(:
