Chef Tomo gave a great omakase experience - he is amazing. The sushi is unbelievable and most flow in from Tokyo. The caviar and truffle touches take the food to a new level. Go now! The whole staff and team - are all terrific. Reservations are a must and only available on Resy R.

Midtown Hidden Gem Miami is no stranger to sushi, Aoko joins the game and does a great job in the match up. Aesthetically the restaurant is minimalist and pristine. Which perfectly counterbalances the chaos of the construction work going on outside. Due to the road closures, the place is hard to find but once you do, prepare for the fun. The team was extremely active and attentive. They were quick with taking orders, bringing food and answering any questions. The prices are extremely reasonable and the fish is perfectly served. We went for the Chirashi and the Sashimi from their omakase section. The chirashi while beautiful and tasty, I would have wanted larger cuts of fish. They took the word trimmings seriously. The sashimi on the other hand was perfect. Overall, a great option for sushi in Midtown at an omakase for less than $100.

I love sushi and Aoko definitely impressed me. It's one of the better sushi spots and the fish was very fresh. We sat at the counter and chatted with the chefs and watched them prepare our food. Great experience, dessert was a great touch. It wasn't too sweet and matcha crème brûlée is not something you can just find anywhere

My friends and I had such an amazing time at Aoko tonight! We decided to go with the omakase, and it was definitely the right choice. Every dish was carefully prepared and beautifully presented, featuring super fresh and high-quality ingredients. Chef Eric's creativity and skill really stood out with each course. With years of experience in top Japanese spots around South Florida, he added a unique and refined twist to everything we tried.

Great date night spot. It was our first time and we sat at the sushi bar. Great quality sushi at a reasonable price, beautiful decor and friendly and attentive staff. Tomo was our sushi chef and we had a great time chatting with him. We will be back!

The place to go for sushi. Nice inside. Service is fantastic. Food is even better. I love sushi and I'm always down to try a sushi spot. Boy was I glad I did. Talk about fresh & tasty. Will definitely be back.

I just found a wonderful sushi restaurant near midtown miami, difficult to notice, they do not have a sing on the door. Inside the venue is nice decorated, very japanese style.Excellent service and so fresh fish and seafood. They really exceeded my expectations. We had the omakase nigiri dinner, ikura temaki, hokkaido uni temaki and cali roll, everything was so delicious and super tasty. If you are a sushi lover, this is your place.

I wanted to a different sushi spot so searched up Aoko in Edgewater. The restaurant is a little hard to find but it is right next to Amor di Pasta. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and all the servers were very pleasant. I ordered the Omakase, tuna roll, 2 pieces of nigiri and Soba noodles for take out. The sushi was spot on and fresh! Shout out to Daniel, the chef, for greeting me! I can't wait to go try the sushi at the restaurant and get the real Omakase experience!
