This place is a hidden neighborhood gem!!! The coffee is so good and so is the food. Family owned and they baked everything fresh daily. My husband and I go almost everyday week and sometimes multiple times as week.

My boyfriend went to pickup some bakery items and coffee this past Saturday around 10:30am. He said the line was really long. I ended up getting the Twix croissant and the chocolate scone. Turns out I don't like scones, never had one until now lol. But the croissant was really good! I also got a mocha which was pretty good. I still need to go in person to see, which I plan to do in the future!

This is one of my favorite places in Houston! Truly a hidden gem. Plenty of street parking. Order in the house, and the seating is outside. Good for groups. The coffee is decent, but they shine with their baked goods! I usually get the croissant breakfast sandwich, and it always hits the spot. They also have homemade jams that you can sample as well as buy, and they're all great! This is a very cute family owned bakery, and I could not recommend this place more.

Absolutely LOVE Angela's oven! You'll only know about this place if you live in the neighborhood, street parking, walking distance from Tenfold coffee/ Johnny's Gold brick. PATIO SEATING SZN! There's a ton of patio seating, dog friendly. Water available with cups when you walk in to the right. The times of operation has changed, so they are open on Sunday now too! 8a-1p. But make sure you check their social media for any updates for the weekend. Met the owner Angela this past Sunday, and she's super sweet and patient. She will answer questions about any pastries you want to know about. We felt pressured to order since there was a line behind us. But she didn't make us feel rushed at all. Much appreciated thank you Angela! People often come for the bread. And they can slice it for you there but my ultimate FAVORITE. I can buy a dozen of is Spinach Croissants, also found out they have mushroom croissants too! I'll be honest I have not been eating my way through the menu because I'm stuck at spinach croissant. But y'all enjoy, ya heard!

Hibiscus Mint tea and a warm, buttery, flaky cinnamon roll. Sooo good! The bakery is open only on Sat & Sun. Closes at 1:00- always a line outside since there's a small indoor ordering & seating area. Parking is along the side roads off of Yale. Hubby got a croissant egg/sausage brfsk. sandwich which he said was ok. He'll try the biscuit sandwich next.

I wish I could have found this place sooner!I absolutely loved everything about it. The place is such a cozy homey vibe. The service is phenomenal Miranda & Karlie are very sweet & give great recommendations.Everything we have tried is delicious. Didn't know the perfect breakfast existed until I tried the pain fromage . I could eat that everyday! Savory, creamy, cheesy, crunchy garlicky just to think about now my mouth is watering. The pastries are also so yummy, I tried the chocolate scone for the first time and will definitely not be my last. The iced coffees that i've tried are the best ones I've ever had! Perfectly balanced not too sweet & coffee flavor fresh and bold. & lastly their fresh baked loafs are heavenly, After trying them I don't think I can buy store bought bread. Anyways I live like an hour away & is worth every minute of the drive! Definitely stop by if in Houston/Heights area you won't regret!

I went to Angela's oven on a Sunday morning around 10:30 ish. There was a small line but it moved quickly. The place was really nice, cozy and quaint. It was really hot inside the restaurant though... Overall, I had an amazing experience. The breakfast sandwich was amazing and the croissant was delicious. The prices were amazing too!! I would 100% come back here, especially if I lived nearby.

I had an amazing breakfast at Angela's Oven! My table got the chocolate croissant, pain fromage with ham, a slice of stollen, a cold brew, and a gingerbread latte. I didn't try the cold brew, but I thought everything else was so delicious. I will be back for the pain fromage and I definitely want to try all of their different pastries. Also, the employees and owners are so friendly and helpful when you're ordering! I will be sure to get there even earlier next time before they start selling out of things! (I had gotten there around 10:30a and they were out of some pastries.) Overall, great food and service and fun, family-friendly neighborhood-hangout type atmosphere.
