I like this store. Variety of imported goods. Extremely clean meat. And the store. Prices could be high for some items. But worth it. So clean tidy and friendly. Sale items are great!

Loved this store, I stopped in there for the first time. The store was clean and organized and had a good selection of imported products.The store owner seemed nice and friendly, I asked him about the meat products, and he was informative. Prices are decent.I left thinking it's too bad you can't really see from the outside how cool this store is.

I like Makkah Mart and I shop there mainly for their Halal Meat, but other groceries as well. The owners (Tamer and Allaa) and staff are super friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend that you introduce yourself to them so they get to know you personally.They carry young and small lamb meat that is excellent for BBQ and other dishes including Mansaf. The meat shop is extra clean and you will not smell any bad smell when you go closer to the meat section ( not like other meat stores in town). They carry HALAL chicken, Goat, Lamb, and Beef meat. They will cut it the way you prefer. The Butcher speaks English and Spanish. The owners speak English, Arabic and Italian.They have a good and wide selection of Turkish and Middle Eastern grocery. All seem to be of excellent quality.Overall, I like this ethnic store and would support them.

I never received warm customer service when I first started shopping here. But after seeing me visiting a couple of times, the store owner finally warmed up to me and my family. I never took the aloof customer service too personally anyways. I know that people may have language and cultural barriers. Anyhow, I like this ethnic shop because it carries a lot of unique and international grocery. Its not too far from where I live and it definitely beats driving all the way to Phoenicia. I still visit Phoenicia every now and then, but this spot is closer and its smaller as well, so it makes grabbing items quick. They have fresh cut meats and they also have fruits and vegetables. They have a nice dairy selection.. consisting of yogurt, labne and various European cheeses. I also like their spice selection as well. If you're looking into jazzing up your flavour palate, than I definitely recommend buying the spices here. They also have a nice candy and jam selection. I love buying the Turkish version of nutella here. It's the Ulker brand. They also carry this nice hazelnut spread which is delectable on toast. You can easily find a random and unique gift for someone here. All in all, Makkah Mart has something for everyone. It's a nice and clean shop that's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.

Best middle eastern grocery in the city. Great middle eastern, Turkish and Indian items if you're into foreign food. Great place to find halal meat, I'm so glad to find such a reliable place that sells fresh and clean meat, The Service is also great, the owner is so nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for foreign food..

Adequate selection if you're far from Phoenicia. Friendly service. Charmingly outdated. Check expiration dates!

Like this place for halal meat. Conveniently located next to our neighborhood. Great customer service. They have a variety of items that I can only get back home and most of their products are a little pricey but we don't drive far to get them. I'm really glad we have this place in our part of town. You can ask them to cut your meat how you like it and the butcher is friendly.

Been here several times and I love the quality of the beef and chicken. The employees are extremely nice and courteous. Will continue to support this small business.

This was our first time trying out this market. The dark man at the meat department was looking at me and my husband in a very rude way. I came here at 11:30am and asked the dark man if they had any drumsticks with the skin on it and he told me no. I am thinking he just didn't want to cut up fresh meat. He said all we have is the drumstick without the skin that was in the cooler. Others came and asked for certain meat items and he didn't mind it. He was very rude and not friendly at all. Will not be returning with service from someone who seems racist. The cashier who was Mexican was very friendly.

This is the worst place to shop at! the owner is so rude to his customers!!! most of the stuff that i bough was expired!!! i.e. turkish coffee, candy, cookies !! when i called him to tell him that he started to scream on the phone! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
