Was looking for a sandwich shop around the NE Philly area for a while. Originally we was gonna try Al's corner few months ago on Grubhub but decided not to bc of their bad reviews. I guess Al's Corner didn't have their own drivers so they used Grubhub's drivers and that's why their delivery service are extremely slow. I was craving for a sandwich one day and decided to try Al's corner for pick up. Since this is my first time, I know I look completely lost! There is at least 6 employees in the store area and not one offer to help. I have to figure it out myself. Make sure you go to the counter area(not by the door) for take out. I bought beef bacon, hash browns, turkey and cheese sandwiches etc..... Everything is pretty mediocre except beef bacon being extra crispy when I didn't even request such. With that being said, that was my first and the last time at Al's.
