Alrawshe Grill

We were originally going to eat at the place next door, and when they were closed unexpectedly we just decided to try it since I was so hungry. When we came in the guy behind the desk didn't get up or greet us. Weird for a new restaurant, they're usually really friendly but that's fine. We ordered lamb shank, macaroni bechamel, lentil soup and a shawarma wrap. We also ordered bottled waters at the counter. We didn't get our drinks until we were almost half way done with the meal. The macaroni dish was half cold and not microwaved all the way through. The lamb shank was really tender and tasted good. The lentil soup was fantastic.Overall ok place

Food taste good, but the quantity is so little. Ordered Goat Biryani to go, 3 pcs of lamb & very little rice for $23+. Also ordered the roasted whole chicken, came with very little rice too & no salad when we opened the bag at home. So pricey for the quantity, nowadays with everything so expensive at least we want to get a good portion for the price we paid.

The hospitality of the gentleman who welcomed me was felt as soon as I walked in the door. The environment was very soothing with good background music. I ordered the mixed shawarma, two chicken shawarma and a chicken kabob for the kids. The flavor of the food is magical. Soft tender and full of flavor. Seasoned just right when to the mix of flavor exploded in my mouth. I think I found the spot to go for middle eastern food in the Houston area. Even better it's literally just 5 minutes from my house.

Great homemade food. Large portions. Reasonably priced. Delicious shwarma and macaroni bechmel
