This spot is fantastic for Happy Hour, especially if you love Mediterranean food. We tried every dish on the HH menu, and nothing disappointed. Pricing was reasonable too! Our favorites were the spreads and the saganaki. The place is beautiful and inviting with its floral decor, and there's even a mirrored selfie area.We arrived right at 4 PM when it opened and were seated promptly. By the time we left a little after 6, the bar and dining area were packed. The bathrooms are worth mentioning because I was impressed with how clean they were. A staff member discreetly tidied up the individual bathrooms after each use, which was a nice touch. Our server, Jonathan, was wonderful! Definitely recommending this place to friends!

Almyra definitely did not disappoint, the vibe of the place its amazing just from the moment you walk in, we ordered the beet spread and the wagyu dumplings to start which were both really good. We shared the chicken kebab which also didnt disappoint as well as the lamb chops which its the only reason this place doesnt get a 5/5, our lamb was overcooked and it wasnt anything special, we didnt feel like waiting for a new one so we didn't say anything the only mediocre aspect of this place pretty much. The highlight was their Buddino which its hands down the very best dessert I've tried in the entire city. Quinn's service was also great, he was very fast and efficient on his explanation of the menu and not intrusive while keeping a close eye on the table. Overall a solid 8.5/10 will be coming back!

To quote one of my friends dining with us. This is just like Mykonos - tacky, a little bit desperate but excellent food. The mezze of dips was delicious but skimpy. The octopus was so delicious we ordered a second. Several of us had the lavraki. Its was flavorful but whoever filleted it was a little rough and destroyed most of the delicate fish. The lamb and Chilean sea bass were also excellent. Unfortunately they put soy in quite a few of their mains so GF options are limited there. Grilled vegetables were perfectly done. One dining partnered who lived in the Middle East for a few years declared it the best baklava he's ever eaten and that he would come back just for that. Budino was delicious (and GF) - very sweet and rich. We had an awesome server. I wish I could remember their name. Really down to earth and attentive. The restaurant was nice enough. Big bar with plenty of seating. The selfie mirror was a bit over the top but given our fellow diners, it explained a lot.Overall it was a good experience and even with drinks we got out for around $100 a head. Decent evening!

If you saw this place on Instagram and thought "wow this place looks really cool" it certainly lives up to that! Ambiance is definitely cool but it's very loud in the restaurant. I would consider going back to enjoy happy hour or sit at the bar. Our server was very kind and excited to walk us through the menu. Despite it being a busy Saturday, they were very attentive. Food was overall enjoyable! Nothing that blew me away but I didn't go in with those expectations. I will say all of our items were under seasoned for my taste. We got the following items:Spread trio (beet, edamame hummus, and eggplant) 4/5Wagyu dumplings 4/5Lobster pasta 4/5 - lots of lobster and big rigatoni pasta, very filling but wish it had a kick or spice to it Lamp chops 4/5 Greens 2/5 this was not worth it and seriously under salted would not order again Chocolate budino 4.5/5 I could see myself coming back for happy hour but didn't love dinner enough to say I have to come back. Happy I went for the experience!

Vibes: upscale casual with beach neutral furniture; large bar; mixed seating to bring a friend or a crew; fairly loud Tasting notes:- shrimp saganaki: large, juicy shrimp; savory, umami sauce is best swiped with a side order of hot pita; loved the crispy pita if only there were more! - Almyra chips: thin and crispy, delightfully addicting; tzatziki is thick and tangy, an excellent dip- Lavraki: flaky meat with crispy skin; substantial but also light; appreciated the generous side of leafy greens - Lamb shank: tender but a little dry; tabbouleh with pomegranate seeds was refreshing Other thoughts:- greeted quickly upon sitting down for drink orders and tap water pours - meal was satisfying for two moderately hungry adults - meal was coursed out with moderate pace between dishes Impression: if you're looking for popping, beachy dinner experience with solid food, Almyra's the place

Went to Almyra twice in the past few weeks for both dinner and happy hour. Dinner: really cool atmosphere, feels trendy and elevated. Staff was knowledgeable about the menu and food came out quick. We loved the chicken kofta, beef dumplings and layered potato side the best, but all of the food and dips were fantastic. Happy hour: we came at 4:30 on a Monday so was not particularly busy. We sat at the bar and were served quickly. Drinks were $5 for beer, $9 for wine/cocktails (which is a bit pricey for a Philly happy hour). The food options were decently reduced priced dips and appetizers. Overall I am a fan of this new, modern greek spot near Rittenhouse! The happy hour deals are not the best, but probably worth it given the quality of the food.

This place gets 5 stars for its aesthetics honestly. It is SO cute inside. Perfect for a birthday or a celebration. I went for a friends birthday and had a reservation and was seated promptly and our waitress came pretty quickly. I had the lobster pasta which was insanely good. I really liked it! Had just a bit of kick to it in the sauce and I have a nonexistent spice tolerance but it was fine. Only thing I can say about the pasta I wish it had more lobster in it.

walked into a beautiful restaurant, truly so stunning with all the lighting and florals. Perfect restaurant to impress a date or special occasions. We went on a Friday after work, and truly enjoyed an amazing dinner! Service was exceptional. It's rare for me to like every dish I try at a restaurant but I truly like everything here! The sample app is a MUST, with all these dips and the phenomenal warm pita and crackers! Seafood dishes were almost a wow. I don't like grilled calamari usually because it is chewy at many places, this was prob the best grilled calamari ever! The drinks were delish, maybe just a bit on the sweeter side than I usually like but that didn't stop us lol And the desserts! Definitelty get the one that looks like a deconstructed baklava. That was sooo good!

This is one of the new hot spots of philly and i can see why! The vibe and ambience is very meditarranean modern vibes but I wasn't loving the music, i felt like i was in a club and made it feel very hectic. we started with a cocktail that had aloe in it, it was way too sour for me and not enough aloe, not a fan.i then got the tuna crispy rice and the octopus. the crispy rice was okay, i've definitely had better and the rice was way too gummy and got stuck on my teeth. it wasn't "melt in your mouth" like i'm used to. the octopus though was DELICIOUS definitely my favorite dish of the nightwe then got the lobster pasta and the lavraki. both were good! the lobster pasta had a decent amount of lobster in it and the lavraki was delicious but i wish it came with rice or something starchy bc just the side of horta wasn't doing it for me. we the finished the meal with the chocolate torte and a scoop of the pistachio gelatoall in all, this place was good but i wasn't raving about it. it was a decent meal for the price and the indoor decor and vibes were nice. i'm not dying to go back and try something but maybe i just didn't get their star dishes!3.85/5
