i would give it 0 stars.i bought ground beef from this store and ended up having a copper bb like shape in it.i chewed on it and ever since i am having teeth pain.i called the store and spoke with manager: acted as negligent and surprised and did not even offer to help. how typical! this piece of copper is one of the locks of the grinding machine and that ended in beef.I do not trust their safety measures and i highly do not recommended them for anything related to their open beef/chicken stand.

Great market to find regional foods and products. Fresh produce section is pretty good. They also have a deli area with homemade dishes for take out.

My go-to Middle Eastern grocery because it's close to home, well-organized and always clean. Their bread is great, and also recommend the Erbil-style smoked yogurt if you've never had it! The zaatar and zaatar/cheese manakish are also rad.

A new store to try. The produce was not good a the store down the road, but they had a nice stock of items from Mid East and India, Pakistan etc. Halal meat looked good, but overall the store is pricy. I bought a few items and headed down the road. Service, only with you asked. Ambiance, crowded with stuff....

Well, I was hungry after a long day in court and decided to go to Hillcroft Road because I saw that there are a lot of Indian restaurants in that area, and so that's what I was looking for. I read the yelp reviews of many and they weren't so convincing, so I started driving along and as I drove along I saw this large supermarket with signs in Arabic on the outside. As I love Lebanese and Arabic food in general, I decided to go inside. When I went inside, there is a virtual smorgasbord of anything Arabic and Turkish food products you can think of. Spices, fresh breads, sweets, teas, hookahs, lamb, olive oil, etc. Even mugs as you can see. When I went to the back area, I saw that they had a hot foods section where I saw Baklava and other sweets as well as this very fragrant rice. A very packed large container is $6 and a small but quite filling one of kibbe and potatoes in tahini also $6. Will definitely be back for something else soon!Ps: I was charged an extra item which I definitely didn't get which was dill leavesfor $1.49. So watch out at the register

I hate to do reviews especially in Ramadan But this is a second Time In ramadan I purchased meat and they cheat us , they make the top is new fresh looking meat when you open its trash meat from the bottomAnd it's almost 50% of for trash , I Guess guys make sure you check everything before you take it

Not my first time is going. To be my last if you want fresh food don't go to that place waste off your money everything I bought was not fresh even the halaweh very old lady at food area was very rude

I like this place the only thing why I'm leaving this review because last Friday I had a mansaf from that kitchen in the back, once that kitchen started it was providing good food, lately everytime I eat I ended up using the restroom like if if you were eating junk food, and the prices keep getting higher , anyway I was enjoying my food and all of sudden found a small insect inside the food looks like a small roach , I almost throw up I just ended up trashing the food, so please guys just provide the same food that you used to provide .

Stingy clerk put big olive glass jar in single plastic bag not double bags, it broke while getting it inside the house.Prices could be better .

the best halal store out of all in Houston, i can grantee that. I have been to all. got all the traditional arabic goods for the cheapest prices in the market. they don't miss any items, everything's available
