I had the best time here. My friend and I had a happy hour reservation and happily chose to sit on the patio because of the beautiful weather. We ate both vegetarian and the wait staff was so helpful with navigating the menu related to that. We basically tried all the dishes that fit into our dietary restriction and they were all 10/10. The wine list had lots of great price options as well. This is an amazing restaurant for the price. It makes Michelin level food more accessible for more people to try.

I've been here 3 times now (2 times for dinner and once for happy hour) and have been super happy each time. Service is always on point, everything on their menu is delicious and executed so well. Note that their menu is on the smaller side and they do not offer dessert since their kitchen is small, but there are other dessert options in the neighborhood you can go to afterwards. Some of my favorite dishes: Camote Asado - torched sweet potato with fennel whipped ricotta. This might be the one dish I would say is a must every time. I wish they sold the fennel whipped ricotta in a jar - I would buy it in a heartbeat. It has a good kick to it, and is great as an appetizer or as a makeshift dessert. I like ordering a side of sourdough tortillas to go with it, but having it on its own is perfect too.Guacamole - theirs is made so wellScallop - seasoned so well and almost has some Asian flavors to it. Scallop is super freshFish - I think they change it up once in a while, but most recently I had the striped bass with a side of butter rice. So good!Avocado margarita - my favorite drink here

Wow. We went last night. Young resto less than 2 years old I believe. Got their first Michelin star this year. Servings are sizeable. Tapas style and not tasting menu. Which was a good change for the Denver Michelin scene. Concept street food fine dining which is quite the welcome oxymoron. Loved the toasted Camote Asado, and their Sea bass. Flavor very colorful and flavor not overpowering which is saying something for a Mexican dish. Most dishes are spicy but very nicely tempered with a starchy side. Drinks were great too. I was in love with their avocado margarita. They don't serve desserts which was a surprising welcome change. Definitely one of Colorado's finest.

Ever since Alma opened, I've been hearing nothing but AMAZING things, so I finally made my way there after countless recommendations from friends. And wow--it did not disappoint! Not only did they just get recognized with a Michelin star , but Chef also took home the Young Chef Award--both are so incredibly well deserved! Every single bite and sip was meticulously planned and executed with intention. You can tell that every menu item has its place and purpose. It's the kind of dining experience where you savor every moment, and I can't wait to go back!what i ordered: guacamole alma, camote asado, frijoles puercos, rajas on crema, callo de hacha al horno, agua chile de chile fresco, tostada de atún, flautas de amarillo, taco de suadero, taco mole verde, and birria de borrego. For drinks, avocado margarita, hibiscus margarita, and Oaxaca old fashioned. Best Bite & Sip: I got a ton of recommendations about the sweet potato (camote) dish, but so many other dishes stole the show! The Frijoles Puercos instantly brought me back home, and the sourdough flour tortillas might just be the best I've ever had (sorry, HEB - iykyk). The scallops with Serrano ponzu? Perfection--i had to order a second round! The Flautas de Amarillo were crispy, full of flavor, and I normally don't like smothered dishes, but this one was fire. As for drinks, the Avocado Margarita wasn't for me, but the Hibiscus Margarita was everything--refreshing, floral, and just the right amount of sweetness.

Alma was a hit! I have been trying to get into this hot spot for quite some time and was able to snag a 2pm reservation on Friday. We were quickly seated at an indoor table along the window. The interior is welcoming, brightly lit and charming! We ordered a handful of dishes (Al pastor taco, sope, tuna, Birria, & ribeye). the tuna was delicious, but the ribeye stole the show. It's braised in a butter marinade and is SO tender and juicy. Would definitely go back!

Michelin recognized Mexican restaurant in Denver - it's so cute inside with indoor and outdoor dining. The employees are very courteous. The food was good but wasn't to expectations. The steak was so small for the price. The best dish was the guac and chips. Other than that, it is expensive with just okay food that you could honestly find in other parts of Denver for cheap, esp bigger juicier steaks and the sushi plates.

This was probably the best meal of my life and was really not that expensive considering. There is a very small dining area and small patio so reservations are absolutely key (especially now that they have a Michelin star). I was in love with every dish we tried but the fish and butter rice especially won me over. The fish was cooked perfectly and seasoned incredibly. The buttery rice was the best rice I have ever had by a landslide. You definitely can't go wrong with anything on the menu though. Service is fantastic as well. Truly a wonderful experience that anyone in Denver should try

You know when the food is so good but it's also a nicer restaurant so you're wondering, am I eating too fast? Should I slow this down? But dang is this food delicious. The hubs and I came for our first but certainly not last time to Alma Fonda Fina tonight. Matthew was our server and hands down he made this an exceptional experience. Unfortunately my body is saying no to dairy these days. He was great and helped walk us through the menu on dishes that were lighter or no dairy. We started with the guacamole- delicious with the chimichurri on top and house made tostadas. Next was my favorite dish of the night - the adobo seared hamachi. Perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented with tiny brunoise vegetables. This was a gorgeous dish both in presentation and flavor. Next dish was the Taco De Suadero that featured 12 hour braised brisket. They pretty much had us at brisket and this did not disappoint. For my main I opted for the Colorado striped bass with butter rice. I took one bite of that rice and said, what will be, will be with the dairy because I was not leaving a grain behind. The fish was perfectly cooked including crispy skin topped with more of that incredible chimichurri on tomatoes. My husband got the lamb Birria and had enough that he brought it home and will be enjoying it with eggs for breakfast. Matthew again for the win with some extra homemade tortillas in our doggie bag. The whole team was fantastic and it is a real treat to have been able to dine here.

We came for our anniversary and the food was great. Service was too and our drinks were good, not too sweet. We were a little disappointed they don't have dessert since it was our anniversary and they didn't often a toast or anything but that's okay. Can't wait to come back and try everything else! Congrats on this lovely space!
