Worst of the worst service and food. Went there to have bangladeshi food. No one asked or given water/napkins. They were watching something in theor phone i guess thats what is important then having customers. All the food was warmed in microwave and you can tell by looking the food was couple of days old. Had to grab water bottle spoons everything by ourselves. At the end after paying the bill they forgot to charge 2 bottle of water. They have asked to pay cash because min card charge is 5$. We didnt have cash so had to pay 3$ extra so they can charge 5$ dor 2 bottles of water. Never ever going to that store for sure and not recommending anyone to go that restaurant

Stopped here while passing through Houston on the way to Austin as I was craving some authentic Bangladeshi food. Definitely a hole in the wall. There's a very small and limited grocery area but was pleasantly surprised to see a good selection of fishes eaten by Bangladeshis. We had white rice and shorshe ilish (hilsa fish in mustard gravy). The ilish was great and satisfying. I would have tried more dishes but unfortunately they were out of vegetables and daal (lentil soup). We came at an odd time which was neither lunch nor dinner so that's understandable. While we were eating there, many bengali patrons came in, bought food and conversed with the owner. In Austin, we can only find Indian and Pakistani biryani so we were super excited to find Bangladeshi style biryani and took an order of goat biryani along with samosas to go. And on man, did this hit the spot or what! Cravings were definitely satisfied! The biryani had the aroma and taste we were looking for and the samosas were straight up excellent! Best part - The rice, fish, tea, samosas and biryani total was under $20 so no complaints on pricing!Customer service is usually lacking in these types of joints and unfortunately this place was no exception. No one was friendly but not rude either. We waited a long time for the biryani only to find out it was packed and sitting by the counter for a while. The cashier then later said he thought we knew the food was ready and I'm like how am I supposed to know if no one mentions anything? Anyway, I don't doubt any of the negative reviews here regarding unfriendly service, poor management, miscommunication and stale food but I don't put too much weight in those categories for cheap ethnic hole in the walls.

Someone had suggested I'd try the samosas from here. The person behind the counter (owner or manager, I don't know) was so sweet. Highly recommend this place for their aloo (potato) samosa and keema (beef) samosa.

They have the best Indian(Bengali) sweets in town. My favorites are Kheer-Kadam, Ras -Malai, Sandesh and Balushahi. Unlike other places these are fresh. The samosas and kachoris(dal puris) are good as well. The rest of the food is not much to talk about but then, who cares!

I have been coming here off and on for four years and I have never been this disappointed. I came recently because I missed their fish curry and goat biryani. Their curries and biryanis used to be so flavorful and now everything is bland and/or over cooked. The only thing here that was good was their cheap and delicious samosas.

Visited Houston from Dallas and was lucky to have found this spot! Tried the muglao porota, beef haleem, daal puri and cha. Everything tasted amazing!! Brought back sweets for friends home, and they loved them! * They have limited sweets so make sure to go in the morning or place an order ahead of time. The staff is super sweet! The small restaurant is very clean. They also have a small grocery section where you will find all your basic Bengali needs. Will definitely visit again on my next trip!

All Bengal is a horrible restaurant. It is infested with roaches and mice, and you can find the evidence in the kitchen. I know this because I used to work there. The owner told be to simply take the roaches out of the cooked food, and kill them. You do not have to disclose that you found roaches in the food to the customers. What a customer does not know, will not hurt the customer and we will be able to continue with our business. Absolutely horrible. I quit after two days of trying to reason with the owner about the rodents and the dirtiness of the kitchen. Eat at All Bengal at your own risk.
