Truly, an amazing pizza! Very crispy, thin crust style. The classic swirl I've had a few times and I just tried there Pechin Street special. Both pies were incredible every time. They are also very fast and consistent. Seems like they have a really hard-working professional staff. The shop is very cute right on an easy corner to pull right over and pick up your order. There's also a few tables out front incase you want to enjoy your pie on site. Try this place out and you will not be disappointed.

When I first moved to the area in 2020, many people raved about this place being a neighborhood staple. I'm glad it's now back in action. I've eaten there twice now. The first time I got the traditional pie and the second I got the BK special (pictured). The pizza is very solid for a neighborhood spot! The pizza is on the thinner /crisper side naturally, but you can always order it more or less well done. When I go back I'll probably order extra hot honey (my preference) but the Bk special is definitely a hit otherwise. They can get backed up pretty easily being a small local shop so be patient with them; they're doing their best.Prices are fine, pizza is good, definitely try them out.

Alex's new fry menu is a great addition. The bacon ranch fries were delicious. They didn't skimp on the bacon, ranch, or mozz cheese. Deff will keep adding them to our pizza order.

This gets huge WOW all the way around! Starting with the inside and outside. This was fully renovated, bright white and red signage and decor, so clean! Staff is too notch- polite, friendly, fast and courteous. The pizza was outstanding- the crust is perfect- not too thin not too thick- just right. The sauce and cheeses are blended perfectly and served piping hot- This is our new go-to pizza place in manyunk/Rox area of Philly! Thanks guys! Make sure you get out to try this place.

Service stinks they closed 30 minutes before the time posted online. Takes a minute to get the pizza and there's not that many options really just cheese and pepperoni.

I love this pizza. It's tangy and crispy. Very different from other types of pizza in the area. Kind of reminds me of boardwalk pizza

Just got a pizza and for some reason they changed their mushrooms (canned mushrooms to fresh mushrooms--the canned mushrooms used to be small, tasty and plentiful). Sounds like a good change in theory, but don't mess with perfection! Switching to fresh mushrooms changed the iconic taste of the mushroom pizza which we have loved for decades! What the heck?!They also used to use fresh green pepper, and now they use a canned red/orange pepper. When asked about this, they denied ever having fresh green peppers as a topping (which is just not true).Guys, please maintain the toppings and flavors we have grown to love! Too many things in this world change for the worse, be a beacon a tradition!

I never thought pizza could be worse than Domino's. Welcome to Alex's under new ownership. The large pepperoni was as hard and dry as sheet rock. Called to let owner know and was told they've Beverly had a complaint. Not according to some of these Yelp reviews. Tasted like cardboard seems to be mentioned frequently. I wish mine tasted that good. Stay far, far away from this abomination.

Great pizza, phenomenal sauce. Clean, timely orders, and a diverse pizza and stromboli menu. Strombolis are also outstanding. If you haven't tried recently, you're missing out!It's great to see a neighborhood gem return to its former glory! Every time I've ordered from them in the past few months they have been on point with their food and service. The pizza is well balanced with the sauce being the star of the show. With pizza I'm usually concerned least about sauce, only noting when it's horrible and ruins the rest of the pizza. Alex's sauce is sweet, mildly seasoned, and delicate with a uniquely tomato flavor. Their crust is on the thinner side with a nice crunchy finish. And while not so crispy under the sauce and cheese, it is far from limp and has the right amount of chew factor. The cheese works fine as it does not overwhelm the presence of the sauce. The pizza options are quite diverse and deserve future consideration. But all pizza should be judged by their plain cheese, and Alex's stands out. With that said, try their extra cheese and extra sauce option!
