Their service was spot on and the items we got were delicious. Two of our party got the gluten free pizza and we couldn't tell. The cheese steak were awesome also and so was the pasta.

Still my backyard, I primarily come here from TGTG these days.Friendly and quick spot - pretty good!The sign out front reminds me of home (live right next door) and always makes me smile "we perfected the cheesesteak!" -- a lovely couple holding up their newborn!

Great new interesting option at a local family run Pizza Shop. They have added Birria pizza to the selection, it's like "Sunday Dinner at Mom's on a slice" it is a very flavorful slow cooked pot roast type beef on pizza crust with excellent flavors and if your over 50 it is likely to take you on a journey back to Sunday dinner at home when you were growing up in the US.It is served with a unique au jus dipping gravy.I still find the dining room uncomfortable, the music and tv is always tuned for the staff not customers and the tables almost all rock and don't match up to each other or the booths well, you have to sit on cracks and such. Also the temperature in the dining room is always a comfortable for the kitchen staff even if you as a customer need gloves and a hat to sit and eat. Tables rarely get wiped.The staff is all pretty nice and the location is convenient to city hall, love park, and transit.I highly suggest you try this today! Take it to go!

Was staying at the Aloft and wanted to explore Philly. Found this cute hole in the wall pizza place that was within close walking distance. The pizza was delicious and fresh. The service reminded me of a mom and pop shop where everyone is kind. Deff can't wait to return for more food!

Located within the heart of Philadelphia diagonal to Love Park, 'Aldo & Manny Pizza and Pasta' became an unexpected spare of the moment visit for me in replace of HipCityVeg before leaving downtown Philadelphia. Though it was not initially my preferred option, I felt it would have been beneficial for carb load, since I was in the city to run the Blue Cross Broad Street Run 10-Miler. I ended up ordering and enjoying a slice of vegetarian lovers pizza for dine-in, and eventually ordering a slice of tomato pizza before leaving the restaurant. Both employees who assisted me took care of me in a friendly, yet timely manner at the register. With that, I would surely visit Aldo & Manny Pizza and Pasta again during any of my ventures to Philadelphia. This place is like the twilight zone. The slicesare somehow $5, the Philly Cheesesteakcharges you itemized expenses in $.75increments ($1.50 if you want peppers andonions on your cheesesteak you idiot), andthere's a $1 charge for using card (possiblyillegal?).Additionally, I found it insane that they wouldcharge like this and the tables weren't evenwiped down AND that they served dine inguests plastic silverware. At this price pointit's parody level comedy.The food was uninspired and under seasonedbut I really enjoyed getting to hear the bossconstantly yell at Eduardo and repeatedlyapologize for being out of Pepsi, while thepiano track for In The End by Linkin Parkplayed on repeat, so that's why it's 2 starsinstead of 1.
