TL;DR - fantastic middle eastern food with excellent service. Don't miss the lamb gyro and pita bread omg the pita breads are like pillows :)Food - the lamb gyro was perfectly seasoned and the tzatziki sauce provided a mellow balance to the spices and meat flavor. I really loved their pita bread because they were freshly baked and were so soft and warm like pillows. I opened them up and stuffed them full of saffron rice, hummus, lamb, and tzatziki sauce. 110% fire food.Service - the employees at the counter were all super friendly and when I went to go get some pita bread to go (it's only 50¢ each what a steal), the dude gave me 2 fresh ones coming straight from the oven. I love these small gestures that make me feel very welcome. Ambiance - nice and clean interior with the counter where you order food on the right and some tables to sit at on the left. Not exactly fancy, but it's clean and the food more than makes up for it. Plus, if the Mediterranean place is too fancy, the food prolly isn't very good anyways haha

How do I even start. Aladdin, my beloved. You feed me so well, and so incredibly. The absolute greatest mediterranean food in Houston, aside from Fadis. The bread is just so delectably sweet, I'm craving it as I type this now. The saffron chicken, the chickpeas, the lentil salad, the hummus, if I were to speak on everything I've had this would become a thesis. It's all just... Delicious. The superior ordering process and convenience, with the staff willing and ready to explain each item to you is unparalleled and unique. The ambiance is great especially outside, as you get a view of Montrose and have entertainment as people walk down the street.

Had food delivered via third party so I can't speak to the dining room or in person experience... but the food was amazing. The lamb meatballs were delicious and rice/pita servings are huge! Will be back to try more.

Amazing food, cute and semi casual ambiance, super friendly service. It's semi-cafeteria style, you choose one meat and three sides (or four sides). The sides are all on display that you can pick, the meats they will prepare and bring it out to you. I loved everything I got (lamb gyro, beets, baba ganoush). Best lamb gyros ever it was sooo juicy and flavorful. Lamb meatball was also excellent with a little spice.

All first timers I hope you check this review out. 1st parking is a bit rough, very small parking lot; but there is many open lots a little bit further up the street (maybe less than a block away) you can park there. Easy and free. 2nd when you come in you grab a table and then go up to the "cafeteria style" line. Get yourself a tray, comb the menu and get the sides and main courses you want. Lastly here's the break down on my EXCELLENT meal. The bread is fresh, hot and delicious. Fired and baked right in front of you. There is a plethora of options and I wish I had a belly big enough to try them all. (guess that means I have to come back). I got the Quinoa which was fresh and full of flavor. The grilled cauliflower that was cooked to perfection and served with a very nice dipping sauce. The saffron rice was filling and flavorful. My entree was the spicy lamb meatballs. The sauce it sat in paired excellent with the fresh bread. The atmosphere is like you stepped into a small family run business. Nothing too lush or extravagant. On the simpler side, but the food, freshness and flavors speak more than where I'm sitting. Check this place out. 5/5.

I'm holding my face in my palm...another once-favorite trending down. They really had some of the best flavors I've missed since moving back from Kuwait, but man...I took someone there recently who loved an "old souk" experience as much as I did. What in the heck happened to this place? The falafel, and knowing this having been frequent patrons, is astonishing good when you order a freshly fried batch. We did that again, as per usual, and it came out to be rubbery vegetarian hockey pucks. The other dishes we ordered were still ok, but more stars coming off for the pita. Habibi, you know you can't eat a plate of hummus, babaganoush, and other sides which NEED pita to 1) balance the taste, and 2) to even pick it up. But you only give 1 pita per order? Please don't be penny wise and dollar poor. I've have seen too many iconic places close up because of poor choices like this. Just charge a little (don't go crazy) more and provide a good customer experience.

We went for dinner yesterday for the first time, and the only other Mediterranean restaurant we've been to was buffet-style, so this was slightly confusing for us at first! They had a sign with instructions on how to order, and so you start with grabbing a tray and you can walk and see all the food options through the glass. There's set options, and we both went with the 1 entree + 3 sides for $17.99. The hot and fresh pita was amazing! I went with gyro as my entree and my boyfriend got the lamb shank, and we were stuffed. The lamb gyro was so soft and tender like it just melted in our mouth. It was one of the best gyros we've had! The staff were nice and patient with us even though we took forever because we were so confused on how this place works. It's a very casual restaurant, no frills restaurant, perfect for anyone who wants some high quality Mediterranean food.

We stopped by for dinner on a Sunday evening. The parking lot next door was completely full, but luckily they had an additional lot that had open spaces. Upon entering, the restaurant was a little dark and uninviting. I would recommend adding more lighting. The ordering process was very straightforward. We each grabbed a tray, picked three sides, and our main dish. I chose the chicken kebab with rice, tabouli, hummus, and also got pita bread. Overall, the meal was a good value for the price. I thought the portions were generous. The chicken was also seasoned nicely. I can see myself returning in the future.

Five stars across the board for me. Aladdin was super welcoming and the food was great. I hadn't tried Lebanese food before and this definitely won't be the last time. Cafeteria style service when you walk in, with a smaller menu of your options at the front. Typically just protein option with x sides, which comes with pita bread also. Double up on the pita if you're really into carbs (I am). It's fluffy, comes warm, has a tiny bit of sweetness, and is exactly what CAVA is crying falling to its knees sobbing trying to be. If you have a sweet tooth, I really recommend the baklava. It's $5 for a pretty sizable square, and one of the better baklavas I've had, albeit sweet (not unexpected). Kebabs come out 10-15 min after you order because they're grilled on the spot, but other proteins like the baked chicken, lamb, curry chicken etc. are scooped in front of you. Sides menu is very big so make sure you take a look at all of them when ordering. They don't skimp on the rice, and portions are sizable. They provide takeout boxes for the part of your plate that you inevitably can't finish (all the better for midnight snacking). Employees were also very kind and patient with us as we picked our way through the line. Seating is also plenty, and I could see this spot working for takeout, groups, or eating alone. I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back for more.

The food quality here is very poor, old food that is kept cold, also the service is bad especially during Ramadan time
