I wanted some Mediterranean food and remembered Al Salam. I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were spot-on. The soup, in particular, stood out--it was clearly freshly made and tasted fantastic. You can tell they take pride in using quality ingredients and preparing everything with care. I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

Nice quick stop from a long drive. Very hospitable, clean. Flavorful halal Mediterranean food deserving a five star rating. In an environment that transports you to its urgence in the flavor. You could tell that they made sure you taste the flavors. Price portions are matching. Menu is extensive but not overwhelming. Will come back to enjoy their mountain of desserts in the back of the restaurant.

I cannot believe I had not reviewed this place yet. We eat here at least once a month. We absolutely love it. The food is the most delicious middle eastern/Mediterranean food I've ever had. It's a super family friendly environment. Very casual and simple. The people are always extremely nice and serviceable. Overall this place has amazing food and great portions. I love it!

This place isn't just a restaurant; it's a portal to Palestine's rich culinary heritage! Every bite was an explosion of flavor, a testament to the authenticity of their dishes. The chefs clearly use the freshest ingredients, and their skillful use of herbs and spices created a symphony on my taste buds.It wasn't just the food that transported me, though. The service was exceptional! The staff embodied the warm hospitality that Palestinian's are known for. They were attentive without being intrusive, and their recommendations were spot on. We've met with family for dinner at this restaurant The first time I visited it was 15-18 years ago and always loved the food!The food is good, love appetizers (hummus, falafel, tabule, stuffed grape leaves....)Fish was a little bit dry and boney , chicken liver was tasty, appetizers perfect! Very generous portions- what difficult to find nowadays Waiter was very friendly and attentive!If you have craving for Middle East cuisine visit this restaurant!

I have been going to this Arabic restaurant for years on Sunrise Blvd just east of University drive. Al Salam is tucked away in a strip mall soIt's a bit hard to find. The food is nice and fresh. I usually eat their platters which is plentiful. Today I had the chicken in pita which more than filled me up for lunch. I also had a small tabouli salad which tastes delicious with the parsley and sufficient amount of lemon. They first serve pita with I'm not sure what it is, but delicious. Al Salam has the best variety of fresh baklava desserts to choose from. If you have s craving for Arabic middle eastern food, you can't go wrong with Al Salam.

I love shopping here just for a few of my favorite things! They make fresh pita every day 5 for $2 you can't beat that! The brand of hummus they have is by far my favorite hummus that I have ever had besides homemade hummus. The olive bar is nice fresh the beats are beautiful and vibrant. They have this amazing nut honey which is a beautiful display of nuts inside of the honey.There is also a meat counter in the back with all the fresh Halal meats you can't go wrong with that.Also I love the Sadaf cardamom tea generally I order it on Amazon I saw it at the store last time I was there but it did not have a price on it... Next time I will ask. Check out is always easy and fast the gentleman at the counter is always nice and efficient. I had more photos, I lost them so I'll go back & take more soon!

I had an event at American Express and Suzy from Al-Salam took care of everything. They open at 11:00 and I requested everything to be ready by 11:20 or earlier would be better. I got there 10 min after they open and my order was hot and ready!The food was amazing and fresh! My colleagues at work cleaned house and everyone kept asking where I got the food from! Will be catering all my events from Al-Salam from now on!
