I use to buy an awesome ahi dip from one of the vendors at the Farmers market. He no longer comes to the market. When I went into AJs today, I saw they had a salmon spread. Ok I'm game. I tried it on a cracker at home and it's pretty good. Not ahi but still good. I'm glad I found it!Shared parking lot and WiFi.

The first thing I always look for in a grocery store is the quality of their food. You can find everything from fresh produce to ready-to eat meals at AJ's Fine Foods, and they have all sorts gift items too!My favorite morning part about AJ's is their hot and ready breakfast burritos. At $7 they are competitively priced but take out the competition as it's more weight and better ingredients. They do not skip out on the flavor!

My experience with this AJ's was phenomenal! A+ all the way going above and beyond quality and customer service! My goal was to thank the wonderful people at Tiffany and Co. in Scottsdale for their superb attitude and amazing service. Enter AJ's Purveyor of Fine Foods. AJ's made it simple and easy to place an order of delicious fresh trays of sushi, cheeses, roasted veggies, and different fruits. (See photo) PLUS deliver it to the Tiffany and Co. store in a timely fashion as a luncheon. Friend Karen W. expressed it best of it being a sequel from "Breakfast at Tiffany's" to "Lunch at Tiffany's" :) This truly was a win win for all as everything turned out beautifully. Could not be happier with the entire process. The online menu is simple and with complete detail of available menu items. And when I phoned in to verify a few questions, they could not have been more helpful and kind. Thank you AJ's for the terrific Can-Do attitude and prompt service! Would highly recommend as the cool Tiffany and Co. folks were completely happy! As always, thank you for reading and stay safe :)

"Eventually all the pieces fall into place. Until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moment and know that everything happens for a reason."While in the pursuit of coffee, this establishment was located in the same parking lot as my coffee shop. The store front was a buzz with patrons enjoying little tempting cakes and their morning beverages. My curiosity was peaked, here we go! The amazement as I made my way through the store. Their is a bakery so many flavors and delicious delights that stare back at me. The wine section the the back of the store, oh yes it's massive with something for every pallet. Come to find out this is a small only business here in Arizona. I'm all for celebrating the small business, it's the core that makes our communities so diverse and striving. AJ's is a local flavor found all over Scottsdale, Phoenix, Chandler, Gilbert, Tucson, Surprise, and other metro cities found around the Phoenix area. They are owned by Bashas, a local grocer in Arizona for quite quite some time now. The best of Phoenix awards have been bestowed many many times year after year as this establishment for having the top notch service and products. These awards are given by the people's voice that this store outshines any other when coming to speciality foods, drinks, bakery, products, and produce made fresh in Arizona. Is it a glorified Whole Foods! It depends on who you ask? Whole Foods has its ways and is a particular store that is close to my heart. This particular grocery chain is unique to Arizona only. It carries items that are crafted by local artisans, the items that are sold here are organic and fresh. The store strives to "be made in Arizona brand." The flowers that they carry are grown locally here in the valley. With a hand full of these little stores around the Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe area it's a great place to shop for grocery, bakery, and wine of all sorts. The bakery inside of this grocery store could stand on its own. All the delish donuts and parfaits are made here locally every morning with such care and joy. Each visit to the bakery can mean a long wait but for what's behind the glass it's not wasted. Some of my favorites are the tiramisu. A good tiramisu, no it's great and something that you can enjoy time and time again. The pastries here are not made in consistency since the customer base always seems to be changing. The custom type cupcakes that are made for special occasions such as Halloween and Thanksgiving change sometimes on a day to day basis. Who knows what you will see peeking at you from behind the glass. The creativity vibes flow like a geyser with so much detail that is given to the confections and sweet treats. Are you one that wakes up and needs coffee to complete the day? The right sweet treat needs coffee to accompany it. I take my coffee hot all year long; and was impressed by the cafe au lady that was made for me my first trip here. The coffee was strong and smooth which paired well with the ghoulish chocolate parfait. If you have some extra time their is seating outside for you to enjoy your coffee, a donut, and the sunrise for us early birds. At every turn some thing will catch your eye. Come and get lost. Explore the excellence that AJ's has to offer you. Your supporting the local economy and meeting your neighbors. Remember that the state mandates wearing of the mask here for entry. The crew here does not clean in between each and every guest, but their are restrictions on how many can be in the store at one time . Hand sanitizer is available at every turn for your personal protection against viruses. All in all when you need a change from the large box stores this is a wonderful and different way to shop. Be sure and visit the bakery for coffee and sweets; then wine and cheese for dinner. One stop shopping!

Absolutely love AJ'S Fine foods! Love this location. If you are looking for local food and gifts this is the place to be! The gift section is the best! Especially if you are looking for Arizona related books or hostess gifts. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Check it out it's such a fun experience!

They should probably train their deli department a little better. Run out of avocado on a Friday at 1pm (is this not a grocery store?). Let's not talk about the way the lady cut an avocado like she was cutting the peel off an apple? The attitude was worse. Hire some people with more motivation and respect for folks they're making food for. Something is wrong with this entire area. I watched them treat people with different skin tones differently and how about you don't hire entitled lazy people that don't care about the people they're serving. Get it together AJ's. Fine foods should translate into fine service as well.

Very disappointing to see how the quality of the salad bar and produce has deteriorated over the past several months. Have provided this feedback to the store but evidently they are not concerned.

I just went to Ajs and bought some sushi. The employee who rang my bother and I out asked if I was pregnant.. I am clearly not pregnant. It was very rude of him to ask me that.

Yes, AJ's can be pricey. I love to cook and I love seafood. My favorite fish, halibut is pricey. The best Halibut ever is at this shop. When my family visit I will open my wallet and shop there. The fish is fleshy, thick and never smells like the grocery store. Even the salmon, not my fav but mom loves it, is good. Not stinky, fleahy and cooks perfectly. The staff are helpful and help you get the most for your money. The other grocery items, well a bit overpriced and the portions/package size small. The staff also help with cooking options, seasonings and beat sides.
