Nice seating area to enjoy items from the cafe. Both inside and outside. Staff are pleasant.

Decided to stop in for a drink (around 730am on a Saturday) and and breakfast burritos after hiking since it was on the way home. When we arrived there were only 3 people in line so it wasn't busy at all. Let me preface by stating that we frequent other AJ's in the valley and this location has the worst customer service we've ever experienced. Incompetent, rude, disrespectful workers that made us feel like we were bothering them for placing an order. Staff at the coffee / drink counter had zero customer service skills when we ordered 3 drinks and 2 breakfast burritos. The guy at the food counter where you can get premade food looked mad and had zero patience when we asked what was in the burrito, almost as if he didn't want to be bothered and took him away from doing something else more important. I went back in for a refill and was scolded that "cold brew coffee isn't included with the refill" which I forgot and was okay with paying full price for it and then on top of it didn't get me the iced coffee I had prior. Needless to say we will steer clear of this location in the future and take our business elsewhere based on our experience.

We frequent AJs either on Pima/Pinnacle Peak Or No. Scottsdale Road and love their stores, employees and selection.On occasion we order from catering and have been very happy with our purchases.We decided to order from the No.Scottsdale location, a Brie Torte for our Party being held six days later. We asked an employee who then asked the Catering manager to handle the Order but he just shrugged his shoulders while passing her and said he wasn't taking any Orders?? No comment, no smile, no interaction with us?? The female employee looked confused. We mentioned this to the Store Manager who was taken back and said Catering was short of staff- he apologized and said he would talk to the Catering Mgr about this situation, and that we should go to the Pima location to Order. Well we ordered from the Pima location- very nice employees, picked up our Fig Brie Torte but we all were very unhappy because it tasted as though it was days old, hard , with hardly any fig etc to taste.No more AJs Catering for us! What A Disappointment!!

Stopped by on Sunday to pick up dinner. Have to say that Ben at the meat counter went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. Great service. Highly recommend.

Decided to try this location out and I have to say I was not impressed. Poor selection of fresh breads and the fresh fish looked oldI'll stick to the location by my house central ave)

Store had what we were looking for, with many other fantastic options, and staff are super friendly. Very clean and appealing presentation of items sold.

The two stars are for the employees as they are incredibly friendly and have great customer service. Unfortunately, the hot food leaves a lot to be desired. For some reason their selection is always much smaller than every other AJ's I've been to and there seems to be much less variation in their menu. Tonight marks the second (and last) night that I've gotten dry, overcooked salmon and flavorless roasted vegetables. Not sure if the fish sat under the heat lamps too long or if it was overcooked from the start, but I didn't eat more than three bites. Overall the store is not very inviting- it's dark, cluttered, and lacks organization. Probably won't bother with this location anymore when the Thompson Peak and Pinnacle Peak locations have a better selection and better quality.

Just want to say alea in the floral department is amazing. She helped me with a bouquet delivery from start to finish and even sent a photo of the arrangement before it was sent for delivery. She is so kind and amazing. Will definitely be back!

AJ's has so many different varieties of seasonal gifts to offer! They also have a gorgeous Floral boutique! Very clean and very organized!

I have been coming to this Ajs for almost five years and for the most part I have not had many complaints. However, today I felt so uncomfortable with how I was spoken to that it's time for me to speak my peace about this specific location. There are very few employees that work here that are very nice and helpful, but the majority of the people that work at this location seem to hate their job, they are unable to be kind/respectful, and it's almost always short staffed. It baffles me that an establishment/corporation can charge the community so much and give the absolute worst customer service. I will reluctantly come into this store going forward and I will never recommend it to others. It's worth it to drive a little bit down the road to a better store.
