Okay, so I went to Aiya sushi a some time ago during the week day. I am a regular customer and I was shocked to find out that they removed half the menu, almost all the Chinese food was removed (general Tso's chicken, most of the bento boxes, etc.). My server was a bit hard to understand at times as she and I had hard time communicating; I assume that they got new owners. Lastly, I've noticed that the prices are noticeably expensive for what you're getting. I'm talking about high tens for the ramen and fried rice. Overall, I am really disappointed of the things that changed and definitely won't be coming back again soon.

This place is the best kept secret. Been coming here ever since they 1st opened many years ago , many ownerships changed over time. Ramen has improved significantly throughout the year.Spicy Tonkatsu ramen ($12) 5/5Very light and creamy pork based broth with nicely seasoned charsu & WHOLE egg (not only just 1/2). This place has to be the cheapest best ramen place in Houston. Lunch special sesame chicken ($9)- 4/5Comes with either soup or salad. Son likes it enough. Lunch special 2 sushi rolls ($10)- 5/5Pick any 2 rolls from selected options, come with soup or salad.

Aiya Sushi & Ramen is a cute little spot in the middle of a strip mall. Once you walk in it's easy to forget what's outside. It's a nice escape. The decor is nice. The 'orchids' at the table are beautiful, but they are not edible because they are not real. It's okay, they look pretty. The light fixtures are quite nice.I ordered Sashimi B, which is 15 pieces of chef's choice sashimi. It came with Miso Soup. The soup was brimming with tofu and seaweed. It was tasty.The sashimi was good. It's easy to judge the quality of a sushi restaurant by their sashimi. Every bite was very good. Not the best sashimi I've ever had, but it was fresh and tasty. Definitely above average.Everyone enjoyed their meal. When we come back to visit my sister, I will ask if we can come back ti Aiya Sushi & Ramen.Count the number of times I use the word "nice". I need to try harder! LOL

My new Favorite Sushi restaurant. This is place is amazing. Like a little hidden gem. My Foodie friend and I were on a quest for good sushi and to try another restaurant. Aiya Sushi did not disappoint. The Sushi was so fresh and delicious. Staff was amazing and prices are on point. Looking forward to our next visit and trying their Raman and other dishes. The onion soup was amazing. I loved it. It's probably one of the best ones I've tasted. The jalapeño roll was fried and it tasted so good. The service can be better but we did arrive 45 minutes before they close. The restaurant it's not that clean, but it's not that dirty either.

I ordered from UberEATS. I got the chashu bowl and saladI can't comment on anything else but th chashu is so good. I want to try their ramen now!!!It's super soft and silky and flavourful. The veg egg roll that the bowls come with is also yummy! The salad is ok. I've had creamier and sweeter ginger dressing but this one tastes more like vinaigrette (lemony).

Great food and service for a great price! A secret treasure tucked away in League City right by the UTMB Dermatology clinics. Seriously, everything here is good. This is a great place to have a dinner date or a group dinner since they have a really cool table made for large parties. We've tried their ramen, sushi, and their Chinese food (back when they had the full menu - rip to the kung pao and sesame chicken ). Unfortunately, they had to drop the vast menu because not enough people are giving this place the hype it needs. Highly recommend you give it a try! Tonight we had the Shaggy Dog, Sweet 16, and california rolls. All were so good (love me a tempura roll) and their gyoza was on point too! In the past we've also liked the Chicken Lo Mein, Tonkatsu Ramen, and edamame. You can't go wrong with Aiya!

The last time I ate here was way before the pandemic -- 2018 -- and I got around to getting something from here via Uber Eats last night.Let me tell you, Aiya knows how to assemble a delicious poke bowl. I ordered the pepper tuna bowl thinking it was going to be small but the portion was just right. Also, the freshness was evident with each grab of the chopsticks.Should I check this place out again, I want to try the unagi (eel) bowl.
