Adam's Halal Meat

This is the review for the grocery section only- the only reason I am giving them a two star is because I like their raw meat. It is always fresh. Otherwise would give them a zero star. The customer service is horrible. During covid when everything started I went to the meat section and asked how long was the wait time and they started laughing. The guy at the checkout is not very nice. They are more inclined to checking out people from their country/region/ethnicity faster and with more care even if they cross over and come before you in the line. When asked, their "CONVENIENT" reply is there are two lines but just a FYI there was only one cashier. It has happened few times already. I used to buy a lot more stuff but I stopped so just go there for meat. It wasn't like this before. It has just gotten worse and I'm hoping to find something a similar store so I don't have to go there.

They offer groceries, full service butcher and a small attached restaurant where you can dine-in and/or take out. I mostly go there for their butcher shop. So, my review is only for their full service halal butcher shop. They have mutton, lamb, beef, chicken etc. They have good quality meat at a decent rate. They have packed meats at the racks. I usually enter the butcher shop and request them according to my liking. For mutton, I ask them either a shoulder or a leg piece and request them to cut into small cubes. They are not very good at English but they have so far fulfilled my request. They are good at their job. They also have packed whole chicken cut into cubes. I don't really shop here for their groceries nor have tried their restaurant yet. However, for their meat and butcher service I'd give them a 5/5.

Got 24 fresh raw wings for $7.80 plus the butcher on-site was able to separate he drumstick & wing +++. they have many good items, India Gate rice bags for $7 & they also have a restaurant inside, serving pakistani food. Tray of beef nihari $10 & naan $1 will go back to try food.

Store is not the most inviting, nor are the people who work there! I went for goat meat, which they do carry. However, the meat is VERY OVERPRICED! I paid $12.00 for a small package, would not have paid if my other place wasn't closed on that day. The two stars were for the freshness of the meat and the store was pretty clean with no funky smells. I probably won't be back not because of the price as much as for the unfriendly staff.

I go here for meat but decided to try their Biryani this time. The biryani came with a cockroach. I am hoping I don't get sick but please avoid the food here at any cost. The hygiene is horrible. I tried calling them and the response was "oh ok, no problem, thank you". No accountability!

Went in to buy Indian tea bags and a couple of masalas and ended up picking up dinner at the little restaurant inside. The store is stocked with staple groceries from Middle East and Southeast Asia and the pricing is comparable. The guy at checkout was nice. The quaint little restaurant food was amazing. I was not expecting to pick up food but my curiosity got the best of me. So I walked up and asked the chef what he would recommend. I ended up buying the biryani, whole tandoori chicken and Karachi chicken curry and OMG they were all AMAZING! I will definitely go back and try some of the other things. Hole in the wall places really do have the best food.

Great fresh meat and grocery highly recommending Adams Halal meat

yesterday (13 August 2022) I got ground beef from this place, and we used that meat to cook today for our guests.. when mixing the meat I noticed little differences wth the smell and wth the texture, but I though it ll be fine besides I didnt have time to return it.. but It wasnt fine; it didnt cooked right, and the taste and smell was worse when it cooked.. was the worse meat I ve had in Houston.

I get chicken from the halal meat shop the guys in that department are really professional provide great service. The chicken quality is also quite good.
