Ace Atlanta

My girls and I ended up here to grab a bite of food. We ended up spending the night here. The vibes were nice, and the dj was playing some good tunes. I'm assuming the night we went wasn't African night because we left without hearing 1 African song. Nonetheless, it was a good crowd, and people were actually friendly, which is rare in these types of settings. The food took over 45 minutes to come once the crowd grew, and it became harder to locate our server. It seemed like they were understaffed last night. We ordered the lamb fries, which were bomb. Full of flavor and the portion were good.  I would definitely recommend it. My friend got the salmon burger, and her review was "it's ok, I've had better" .  I ordered the lamb and  mashpotatoes, and It was delicious. Chef kiss.  Lamb was cooked to perfection, and the potatoes were creamy. I would give this establishment another shot. I would visit on African night so I can really get the full experience of Ace.  It's worth a try, in my opinion.

I came in on a Wednesday night craving egusi. It was surprisingly full for a Wednesday but despite how many people were in there it was still dry so don't expect dancing. Section culture is ruining atlanta. I ordered an egusi for $25 they gave me a hugeeee amount of fufu but three scoops of egusi. I was so disappointed in the amount for that price. I ended up taking my food to go bc I wasn't feeling to vibe.

Service was very slow. We had to go find a server and then find said server multiple times that night. The lemon pepper wings were too salty for me, but I loved the sweet chili salmon bites.

I really wanted to like Ace, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. Music is very loud. Which is good if you're there for the club experience, but not for dinner. Service was horrible. Nobody greeted or seated us when we walked in. We waited for over an hour before anyone took our food order. Took forever for the drinks and hookah to come out. We weren't given glasses of water or even utensils in a napkin. When the food came out, our waitress just walked over to us with a fist full of forks and told us each to take one. LIKE HUH?! I've never seen that before in a restaurant! And the food wasn't good. The Jerk Pasta was more like pasta soup with all the extra liquid it had. Plus it was lukewarm, almost like it had been sitting out for a while. Ultimately we just wanted to be done with the experience asap, so we didn't even send the food back. Just closed out and left.

Food was great!! Chill spot with great ambiance!! I took my date here and we had a whole feature. The lamb chops were amazing and the server was on point. Great service and atmosphere!

The only reason I'm doing this because I left a comment on their instagram and they deleted it. I knew they would so I screenshot it! The only reason they get a star is because the food was actually good although I waited an hour for it. I attached my review from instagram because it's a lot to type. Please people...if you are in the business to serve, chill on the attitude.I come a lot on Friday's with my friends but this last experience kind of killed my vibe.

Upon entering Ace I was greeted. I was only there for take out. I was directed to the bar for pick up. The space was very open and divided by big sections. It was the evening hours so it was a little dark. Music was good while I stood to wait.It was not too crowded but they seemed busy. I just assumed everyone was ordering food and not drinks. Upon returning home the order was almost accurate but not quite. There was a lot as I had enough food for 6 people. Everyone ate and was satisfied. I personally had suya and it was a little tough and salty. But I would definitely try them again. The servers were very helpful.

Save your money and time!! Try to pull you in with their menu but don't even have half the stuff on there! Why run restaurant if you don't have food...giving struggle! As a food concierge that's a sign of a struggling business! I do not recommend unless you like wasting your time and energy. Thanks

Great vibe!!! The service is amazing. Alexis the bartender made some amazing drinks. The food was great.
