Allow me to share my experience with you. If you've ever dined at a Nigerian restaurant, you may be aware that exceptional service isn't always their strong suit. However, this particular establishment proved to be a delightful exception. While the dining area was relatively small, it provided a comfortable atmosphere. Upon our arrival, the server promptly attended to us, took our orders, and impressively, within just 10 minutes, our food was served - a remarkable feat. The server was accommodating and went the extra mile to cater to my children's preferences, as they are not fans of spicy food. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the pricing was in line with what one might expect for typical Nigerian cuisine. I'm certainly inclined to revisit this place in the future.

I got the fried rice and it came with 2 pieces of beef that were not fresh, overcooked, and hard. I was unable to eat it. The rice was flavorful with some spice to it.

Stopped by this place craving for some good Nigerian food, and boy was I not disappointed. I was in town with my kids for springbreak in Galveston, and drove all the way to mainland and it ended up being the best part of our trip. Pounded yum and assorted meats was awesome.My son tried the meat pies and it was yum!!! Please try it this place and you will thank me later.

My first visit was good and a female lady staff was helpful (I ate Amala and Egusi). So I decided to try repeat my visit a week later. I was concerned about a particularly rude female staff who missed the order I placed by phone. Upon reminding her about a key event of the call to place my order, was that she could not understand a local regional dialect, she displayed what I can describe as a silly arrogance. Poor attitude who does not understand that many people consider "kpanla" to be dried cod. Apparently, her version of kpanla happened to be a different fish entirely. I was glad a gentleman, the manager or owner perhaps, described the specific fish after he overhead my question to another customer about my confusion. The assorted meat selection contained a couple of cattle small intestines (or intestines of some other animal), beef skins and a tough fried piece of beef.An employee with a disregarding attitude does not help this business. Its a shame we deal with silly attitudes in the diaspora.
