Second time ordering food from this restaurant and the experience and food were wonderful. I ordered the lunch bowl with the Lechon asado con maduros, arroz y frijoles, the masas de cerdo both dishes were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Very tender meat. As for beverage I got the delicious and refreshing passion fruit- mango. Although i didn't eat at the restaurant all my food was packed nicely and my beverage was nicely wrap and arrive at perfect temperature including my cold and frozen juice. I can't wait to visit this restaurant in person and continue trying more delicious dishes!! Photos can't do justice to the deliciousness of my food but the photo I took will make you laugh!!

I happen to be a tourist in the area and found Abuela on Uber eats and was so hungry and needed a really quick snack. I ordered the empanadas, croquet and fries plus the fresh mango smoothie, which was out of this world. I could have a smoothie every single day of my life and never get sick of it. She literally blended real mangoes. I'm in shock. The empanadas were incredible, we got the beef ones and my husband was just obsessed with it. He actually didn't let me have anything more than one bite because we ordered two pieces and he wanted more. The croquet were also amazing. The platter came with three different flavors, which were ham, cheese, and chicken. I couldn't tell the difference between the three of them honestly I'm so blown away with this place. I highly recommended to everybody.

This place is HORRIBLE! Ordered a pan con bistec, it arrived with no lettuce, no tomatoes, no papitas. Oh and COLD!!!! The empanada was throw in the box with the pan con bistec. Abuelita can't cook or deliver proper service.

Was in Miami for a funeral, and in serous need of comfort food. The name "Abuela" caught my eye. I mean...who wouldn't want some of grandma's cooking after a tough day? I ordered online and had my meal delivered to my hotel. This food tasted like it was straight out of a home kitchen. I would swear it wasn't restaurant cooked. My first impression was made by the black beans. OMG. Abuela put her foot in this, as we say in the 'hood. This food was SUPERB. The Ropa Vieja was savory and tender. I wanted to slow time down.... To not rush through it. It was THAT good. And the fried yuca....seasoned to perfection. I was so happy. By the end of the meal, I was feeling good. The food had done its job. Comforted my soul in the wake of a sad day. thank you for everything Abuela. Next time I'm in Miami, I'll go it to eat in the restaurant. Cuban food lovers, Get your hips over to Abuela's Kitchen.... You will not be disappointed!

This place just continues to deliver, ordered a Cuban sandwich and it was absolute perfection. The pork was seasoned well and very tasty. The bread was crispy and it had the perfect amount of pickles and mustard.

Since I am cuban I was a bit weary eating at this restaurant for the first time. The food was spectacular, tasteful and fresh. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be eating there again. I ordered the baked pork with white rice and blk beans and plantings. My mom ordered the baca frita with Moro and plantines.

We were looking to see which restaurant was open for business. My husband wanted Cuban. We found this place and decided to try.He ordered Vaca frita with congri. After shopping, we stopped by to pick up.The food was ready and we happily went home. Once we got home, we realized that the food they gave us was wrong. They gave us Ropa vieja instead of Vaca frita. We were hungry and didn't want to bother to go back. The portion was rather small compared to other Latin cafeteria. Now talk about the flavor. Meat was seasoned ok but a little bit salty. But this congri had a wired flavor. Somehow it tasted sour. When my husband mentioned it, I thought the food was bad. I took a bite to check. I think they used lime to cook or splashed after cooking. It was not because of good being spoiled but more to do with using a line I think.I want to support local businesses but sorry, I don't think we will go back.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Abuelita's Birria & Fresh Mexican Food that I feel compelled to share to prevent others from enduring the same frustration. I placed an order via Uber Eats last night, excited to try their food. However, what followed was a complete disaster. After placing my order, I waited patiently for over an hour and a half, only to receive a notification that my order had been canceled. Throughout this time, three different couriers attempted to collect my order from the restaurant, but it was never prepared. Despite the app showing that the restaurant was working on my order, nothing was actually done. The lack of communication and transparency was infuriating. I kept seeing updates that my order was being prepared and that a courier was on the way, only for each courier to be reassigned multiple times. Finally, after nearly two hours of waiting, my order was abruptly canceled without any explanation. The cancellation after such a prolonged wait was not only discourteous but also demonstrated a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I understand that restaurants can be busy, but this level of mismanagement and lack of accountability is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I had to scramble to find an alternative for dinner very late at night, which added to the overall frustration.I strongly advise against ordering from Abuelita's Birria & Fresh Mexican Food if you value your time and expect reliable service. There are plenty of other restaurants that value their customers and can deliver on their promises. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment and look elsewhere for your next meal.

One of my daughters and her husband recommended this place and I finally went yesterday and was not dissapointed. Food is amazing, freshly made to your order, even empanadas and croquetas are made while you wait (ver short time). Owner Janet is very attentive and professional. This is by far the best kept secret in North Miami Beach. Definitely recommend
