Abu Omar Halal - Spring

Food was smaller portion than I thought. It was okay but I definitely want to try other items on the menu. This place has been on my saved list for a long time, pass by if you're close by!

Big props to Abu Omar for being open during the arctic blast. These guys did amazing job. They had quite a big line but let me tell you what these guys were cooking up food so fast service clients I don't think I've been waiting five minutes. So big props are these guys for doing the right thing during the arctic blast.Food: I went with a beef Shawarma. It was very tasty and full of flavor. It was priced well. One thing I wanted to try was the beef kebab but I deafly understand that they had a limited menu during the arctic blast so this is something that I will come back and try for sure. I'm a big fan of beef kebab and I bet you they do a great job here I will definitely come back many more times because I enjoyed the big Shawarma. The customer service was very good as well. The people working here are very nice. Very nice family owned business. I believe they have locations all over Houston. If you were in the area I've never tried them I suggest giving them a shot. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again for sharing the Houston community during the Hardik class when most restaurants were closed. These guys are out there selling food keeping people full . Great job guys.

A little pricier than I was expecting but good halal food nonetheless. I got the gyro and chicken shawarma with fries (which came with tasty veggies that I think were pickled?) and both were good, pretty crunchy and fairly big in size. The white/garlic sauce honestly tasted a bit like mayonnaise to me.

The food is wonderful. The guy at the food truck was very attentive to my request. It's in a great location where you can place your food order, then hop over to the Eskimo Hut and grab a tasty beverage.

between 3 & 4 stars but rounding down. food is pretty good & ready pretty quickly. expensive for the portion size.

It was ok, definitely fresh but taste mediocre. Service was great and the owner is friendly.

Garbage. Ordered about $50 worth of food from here and everything was bad. Called to tell them, but no response. Zinger Burger; Chicken was fried so much that there was no meat. No seasoning on the fries. All the chicken was dry.

I ordered 2 lamb gyro bowls, when I went to pickup. It was ubereats pickup order There was nobody over there at truck, I waiting 15 minutes then Abdullah showed up & when I checked my order it was wrong I told Abdullah "brother this is wrong order" he told me this is all I have now get the fuck out of here I go there 5 times a week to mohtasim this place is going down bad customer service bad food I wont go there anymore & won't recommend to anyone till Abdullah is working there

These guy are trash customer service is awful can't take a simple order. It's two different item how confusing is that.

بصراحة خاب ضني بعد ما جربتها. شاورما اللحم جانت فضيعة لا تمد لشاورما اللحم العربية بأي صلة. طعمها غريب ومش محبب. وشاورما الدجاج المفروض تكون مميزة ب التوابل الخاصة بالشاورما بس للاسف طلعت اسوء مما كنت اتصور. لا طعم ولا ريحة ولاحتة ثومية تغير الطعم. ابدا ما كنت راضية عن الاكل ولا رح نرجع مرة ثانية لهل مكان.One of the worst experiences of my live. The sandwich didn't taste like real shawarma at all. Not even test good. I was supper disappointed with what I have. I tried both chicken and beef and both were horrible. Not recommended at all to anyone specifically to someone know what shawarma tastes like.
