I was on the way to work at a nearby clinic and stopped here for lunch. I ordered a falafel wrap with extra tahini sauce. The wrap lacked flavor but I can't pinpoint what it is. There are a few tables to eat at. I'm not familiar with this area but the strip just doesn't seem high rent. I paid $9.47 for the wrap. That's a bit much for fried garbanzo balls inside pita bread. They have baklava on display on individual clear boxes. The restaurant opens until 3 a.m. every day. Now that's impressive!

Brick and mortar spot right next to a gas station. You can eat here since they have benches but most people take the food to go. They stay open until 3am so they are popular with the delivery apps after hours. Prices are little higher than the competition in the area.The rice platters can be somewhat dry since they don't give you much sauce. The rice itself has good flavour. Otherwise the food here is decent. The garlic white sauce was probably the best part of the meal. I prefer getting the falafel wraps over the falafel rice platter due to the sauce ratio and they only include 5 balls in their platters. Their fries being starchy good is another reason to get the wraps unless you want to go all out with fry platter.

Got the shawarma platter, perfect for snacking on as an appetizer at a party. The garlic sauce that came with the fries was creamy and rich.

I think Abu Omar has a crush on me because anytime and every time I order from here, the food is always delicious. Always fresh ingredients. Great price and portions. This spot is definitely a hidden gem!My fav entrees are the shawarma wraps with a side of fries and the shawarma bowl.

His service was on point, however my food wasn't good, salad warm and the beef was cold, also gamey tasting . I don't know if I came at the wrong time or location, but it's a no for me, the 2stars are for the guy/operator (only).

This has been one of my favorites since back in the 2000-teens when they were a small food truck in a gas station parking lot a half mile down the road. I was down on my luck then, and their manager helped me out more than once. I'll never forget that kindness. It thrilled me to no end to see that they finally got their brick and mortar store. Its small, and shares the parking lot with a gas station and a food truck. And if you happen to drive by, at just about any hour, you might pass it up due to the crowd. If you do, you're making a huge mistake. The longest I've ever waited for an order is 20 minutes, late at night with a line of folks ahead of me. They're quick. And they're consistent, despite even the largest crowds. Probably owing to the fact that they have a well chosen menu lineup with meat options that are slow roasted to perfection - right there in front of you when you order! - so there's never any issue of needing to keep things warm, its straight from the roaster to your plate. I will say this, slow roasted meat by its nature can tend to be slightly dryer than most of us Americans are used to with our greasy fried foods and whatnot. So ask for extra sauce, to balance that out. Also, be sure to sign up for their rewards program, ask for details when you pay

They made us wait for an hour in 90 degree heat and the food wasn't even good. The employee was very rude for no reason I just wanted my fries.The truck and equipment was very rusty and old I was even scared to eat my food. Please do better!!!

It cost as much as a restaurant price, but less quality. You are running a small truck and yet charging almost same as top halal restaurant. I visited the store on Barker Cypress and paid $17 for beef shawarma plate. At same neighborhood, there is Turkish restaurant called Dafne and a similar item called Adana kebap comes with Char-grilled lamb and beef flavored with red bell peppers, served with rice, grilled tomatoes and lavash and it is at $16. Plus I can sit inside, use lavatory etc.

Great food! Good choice! Good customer service. Friendly staff. The lamb shawarma is so tasty

I had a kebab craving and I was really excited to try this spot. I ordered the chicken kebab over rice through Uber Eats. The photo and description of the dish fired up my taste buds and appetite and I was ready to chow down. Unfortunately I received my order and it was five pieces of chicken, a grilled tomato and a grilled onion over rice. Where's the rest I asked myself. So after searching through my bag again and realizing that the dish was not as advertised I felt a sense of being short changed on my meal. The chicken was delicious but unfortunately I did not receive all the fixins that it was supposed to come with . So my hunt for kebabs shall continue.
