Got the Midnight Munchies? One of the finest and biggest Mediterranean Cafes in Houston - Cafe Abu Ali on Richmond avenue is open until 3 am. NOW you can actually have midnight munchies and may even have some healthy mediterranean options OR If you're like us, we would love to eat some desserts and knafeh! This chill hookah cafe also has halal breakfast options, pizzas (they make fresh in front of you), grill items such as chicken tawook, gyro, shawarma, lamb chops. We loved their hummus, baba ghanouj, tabouli and kibbi! Our absolute favorite was the meat platters (chicken , kafta, tawook, beef kabob) with hot seasoned rice.They have a huge selection of cakes and desserts - tres leches, chocolate cake, ferrero cake and the freshly made knafeh! It was fun watching them make the knafeh and it was absolutely crunchy, sweet and delicious. Don't forget about their smoothies and fresh drinks! As middle eastern food lover, I highly would like to recommand this place to everybody who smoke or not due to varoius seating area they have in this space. The food is fresh and delicious, the customer service is on top espically if you lucky to served by a nice person like 'Andrew' Amazing place and I would love to come over and over

As an old man I like their hookah!Very welcoming staff.I ordered a shawarma sandwich which was very tasty, it came with french fries.As of hookah I ordered an apple mint hookah with a pot of mint tea. By all was a very good experience and will go back definitely.

Very beautiful place, clean , very good service and the most important thing they have a secure playground for the kids.

Rude and slow service takes forever to get your order and last time they over charge me for 2 Red Bull $23 and I asked them they said $10 cover fees plus they add 15% service fee plus tips will not go there agin save you time and find yourself another place ranoosh is Way better than this place

Great place but it's closed now. It seems to have gone out of business a few weeks ago. I stopped by but it's no longer open.

We came on a Saturday night. SUPER packed. Their food looks amazing and authentic but decided to partake in coffee and shisha. I had the grape mint shisha and we also tried their rice pudding. Heard tonight was their grand opening so there was a buffet opened for people to eat. Their rice pudding was chilled and made with a dash of rose water and drizzled with honey (for your choosing). Shisha was good! Not the best but overall enjoyed this place a lot! They also have complimentary parking (but should give tip).Would definitely recommend for great food, shisha and ambience. Always nice especially since they are brand new!

Best Mediterranean food and hookah Service is A1 Everyone is friendly Check out their chicken and rice dish It's delicious!! The hookah is GREAT Charcoal guy comes around and the waiters are super responsive Highly recommended

Kids area is also smoking area which is horrible. We order a kids pizza and came out 45 minutes later ground beef not good at all very chewy we were not able to eat it. They have a picture of a plate l ordered and when l got it nothing even close to the picture ( the habanero sauce chicken thighs and legs ) kids playground good but not smart to have all that smoke around us while eating
