A'Bouzy

We made a reservation for Galentine's Day at A'Bouzy. I had a positive experience at this restaurant before and was excited to go. On the phone, the server had mentioned that we would be seated on the patio but failed to mention that our table would not be covered even though it was raining. When asking to move tables because the patio umbrellas were dripping water onto our seats, onto our clothes, and into our plates and water cups, we were met with resistance. They offered to wipe down the umbrellas (which did not do anything) but did not reseat us until about 30 minutes after us asking. Even then, we were probably 2 inches away from the table behind us and were still in danger of being rained on. It definitely put a damper on the rest of the day and the brunch itself. I ordered the French toast and the breakfast quesadillas. Both were flavorful and cooked well. I enjoyed the food itself but our experience at the beginning was not enjoyable.

The ambiance is terrible; you can't even walk in this place, much less talk. IHOP has better table distribution. Food- I have never experienced such a pungent and disgusting odor when eating oysters. I also ordered pasta that was $33, the worst pasta ever. It was overly cooked and had no flavor. Drink- Nothing out of the ordinary. Service- couldn't really hear anything the waiter was saying so I have not much to say. The food arrived fairly quickly.

What a fun time! The baller board is the absolute best. We got one of everything, and it was too much for seven people. The service was impeccable and this time we tried the Cajun shrimp, and they were awesome. It's a beautiful space for a great afternoon.

Cute place located in The River Oaks area. Self parking was very limited, but valet was reasonably priced. The inside is cute but compact. I sat inside, but there was a large outside area. The background music was good. Our server Leonard was very attentive. We had the blueberry muffins which were ok. Without the icing which came on the side, they would have been bland. For brunch I had the blackened shrimp tacos. They were ok. Nothing spectacular. Overall, this place was ok. It wasn't bad, but not memorable.

A restaurant with good customer service, it's a good french restaurant intend, but at all. I'm talking about food flavor and presentation. Friends of us invited us to celebrate 27th aniversary

Adorable French-inspired bistro. Valet parking. Excellent staff. Cute atmosphere. It is a Great place for a girl's day out. I ordered a lemon drop martini and chocolate lava cake. The cake was cold and tasted packaged. I guess the place is primarily for drinks so it makes sense if food was not fresh.Just go and order bottles!!

I love this place! The complimentary bread and herbal butter was tasty! As always, 50 cent oysters on the first Monday of the month were so fresh and delicious!

Tried A'Bouzy for brunch and it was a cool place. I got the seafood pot pie and it wass massive! It came with a side salad and a fresh baked piece of bread (it was sooo good). The pot pie was decent, it could have used a bit more seasoning but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. The service was incredible, they were all very great. The place itself is so unique and has a great ambiance, with a cool patio.

Amazing brunch, perfect if you a fun vibe. We got champagne bottles and the waiters would come by and say abouzy with you when they popped it! The service was amazing in general, very friendly and one persons enteee came literally only five minutes after the others, we didn't complain and they comped it for free!Also recommend the balling out board for a large group - all the cheeses were out of this world
