A Touch of Cuba Restaurant

Last day in Miami and I have had Cuban on my brain this entire trip, so I made sure I stopped by somewhere for some Cuban cuisine. There was some really cool decor here, including the rooster outside in the front. It was mothers day as well, so they had a ton of balloons throughout the restaurant.My server was an older woman, there was a language barrier, and her accent was incredibly thick, but the menu was translated to english, so I had no problem ordering my food and drink.I had the steak sandwich and a passion fruit drink they were both so good only thing I fumbled was I forgot to order some Cuban coffee they have the best coffee in my opinion but in making sure I got to the airport on time I kind of rushed out of there, the food was great I would definitely go again.

The Best Meal Ever!I ordered the Red Snapper and it was cooked beautifully! Every bite was delicious. I would eat at this restaurant weekly, if I lived here.My waitress was just as great as the food. She smiled and was very polite. She let me practice my Spanish and she practiced her English which was sweet of her. The inside of the restaurant is small and has limited seating but they have a great space outside with a lot more space. Parking is tight and located behind the restaurant. Please give this place a try!

Came here last year, was excited to finally have some good cuban food. Yet, it was not what I was expecting. We sat outside and service was quick, but food was not up to par. Prices were also a bit steep for the quality.

This is my go to place for take out. I usually order from here once a week. Food is always tasty and the portions are big. Tonight I got the grilled chicken breast and when I flipped it over it had black stuff on it and the texture of the chicken itself was really weird. My split pea soup had no taste. The red beans smelled like they were old. So sad I lost a good place to order dinner

VISITED YESTERDAY, as usual all very clean. We had the ropa vieja mojito, and steak, all was very good and tasty. Later had our coffee with cream, simply delicious. The waitresses, Zendi and Melissa were extremely patient, and vey competent. Have always had good experiences when eating here.

We usually do pick up and i love their food. I normally get the beef stew. Lately the pieces have been quite fatty and they used to have it really tender but I feel like the food quality has decreased maybe to keep up with demand. Either way, lots of potential and a good spot if you're in the mood for Cuban.

Typical Cuban style restaurant with a metal rooster greeting you out front. The service was good. The food was delicious. I had the Carne con papa, maduros and salad as my two sides. My wife had palomilla steak with rice maduros but she felt the steak was not so delicious. Overall I enjoyed the music playing, the food and service. If you're in the hallandale beach area and are in the mood for Cuban food this is a good place. Also the portions were just right.

I have been a customer and advocate promoter of this restaurant for 4yrs now. But today experience changed all that. I ordered take out, I picked up my food and to my surprise when I got home I was missing one steak, i called back and the lady on the phone was apologetic and confirmed they have left my food in the oven. She asked if I could come back and they will re-do it for for me. I agreedI drove another 50mins back and forth due to traffic and that my surprise I get home and when I open the food box I noticed a sloppy meal, when I cut into the steak it is raw and soggy. I wasted 1hr or so between my first trip and the second and I couldn't eat it because of such a disgusting mess. Utterly disgusted and disappointed obviously the kitchen didn't care and the overall service didn't care to fix their mistake. I don't care for the money but the total lack of care.

A little disappointed, been coming here for months And it's usually quite good. Service is never terrible but today it was very different. Slow day around 2:00pm. I ordered some tostones con picadillo and it was fine had a glass of wine and waited for them to come back for our order but they never did. When they finally checked on us we had both finished our wine so decided to just order something to go. Ordered an order of tostones to go, which is $7 and It had 4 slices of the stones the equivalent of 1/4 plantain, pretty shady.

I haven't 5 star'd in a very long time. Happily, I am giving 5 very well-deserved stars to A Touch of Cuba. Physically, the space is attractive; a "touch" of Cuban artistry without overdoing it. The servers are excellent - knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The food, I mean, the FOOD!!! OUT OF THE WORLD!!!!PLEASE DO NOT NOT EAT HERE!!! I promise you will tell all your friends about A Touch of Cuba!!!!‼
