A Taste of China

I've been searching for a good Chinese spot. I found A Taste of China. Upon pulling into the parking lot, I knew this was going to be good. Most Chinese Restaurants in shopping centers near Food Lion are always good in my experience. The previous reviews are not inviting, but I like to go-to spots and check things out for myself especially places off my normal beating path. Taste of China is a hidden gem in my book! The food is good and fresh. The food was ready when the restaurant said it would be ready. The person who assisted me was very nice and pleasant. It's a hole-in-the-wall spot. Not quite a 5 star, but Taste of China stands strong at four stars.

This place is not the best, the vegetables always taste old and freezer burned. They'll load you up with sauce and veggies but very little meat. I've been here twice, the first time wasn't great so I tried it a second time and both times are disgusting. I'll take HARD PASS on ordering here again. No thank you!

Not good at all. We got 3 separate dishes and none of them were good. The chicken tastes like it's been pre-boiled or canned and then added to the dishes.

This is the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life. My parents would get this for my family growing up, I literally moved to Vegas and missed this place soooo much! Nothing ever compared. The crab Rangoon here is literally heaven. I would eat here at least once a week when I was pregnant with my son and craved it when I was pregnant with my daughter, I tried all these Chinese spots and nothing compared to this place!!

Our food was ready when they said it would be, cashier was very friendly. Our food was hot and very good!

The fried rice tasted disgusting, almost rotten! The beef, I'm not even sure that it came out of a cow, so rubbery and gooey. I'm tossing this right in their own trash can. Extremely disgusted right now!!!Low quality food. Should've gone to emperors choice a few minutes down the road

Great food and fast service! My family has tried a few other places in the area but we keep coming back to this restaurant for our Chinese food.

Worse Chinese food ever. Been there multiple times thinking maybe it was just a bad day or a new chef. Food is tasteless, beef teriyaki is tougher than cow hide even my dog could not pull it apart. Never Again. Just awful.

BEST CHINESE IVE EVER HADI travel a lot and have had many many Chinese places around the U.S. this is by far the best. I just love it is very close to home. Some comments say the staff isn't very talkative or welcoming, they are not mean to me ever but I will say they are very busy and they stay that way. I've been going here for 5+ years, they have never once got my order wrong, and that's something to say about a restaurant these days!! When family is in town we order 10+ meals and they are all correct, always. Don't miss out on this place it is amazing.

Food was burned. It was horrible. Taste like and look like very old grease. The inspector need to visit them. I'll never go back. It was a waste of money,
